On the 10th of February 2011 Hosni Mubarak gave his last speech as the president of Egypt, on the following day he resigned the presidency after more then two weeks of violent protests against his rule, and with that his 30-year long rule over Egypt had come to an end. This bachelor thesis aims towards examining this speech using both qualitative and quantitative research methods in order to reach a useful analysis of the speech. The conclusions of this thesis is that several methods were used in the speech in order to win the listeners acceptance and approval for the speaker, and then to use these in order to soothe, or preferably to completely stop, the current revolution. The methods that have been found to play major roles in achieving this are; portraying the speaker, defining the listener, promises of improvements and of justice/revenge, and nationalism. I uppsatsen redogörs för en statsvetenskaplig förstudie kring valdeltagandet bland sverigefinnar bosatta i Haparanda, vilken sverigefinnarnas sociala perspektiv är i relation till valdeltagande, och hur det kan tänkas påverka gruppens valdeltagande. Syftet för studien var att analysera en minoritets politiska deltagande i det kommunala beslutsfattandet. Problemet som är utgångspunkten är Haparanda kommuns låga valdeltagande, som är lägst i Sverige. Studien omfattade 38 intervjuer med sverigefinnar bosatta i Haparanda, tre intervjuer med sverigefinska riksdagsledamöter och två intervjuer med kommunala tjänstemän. Statistiskt material om Haparandas befolkning, med fokus på den sverigefinska befolkningen och dess valdeltagande, ur befintliga källor, användes.

Media has a big actuating power over the public opinion. The image of reality that media choose to reproduce will affect the recipient view of reality. The case about Thomas Quick and its associated news coverage has been used as an example to illustrate the problematization regarding media imag-es and media framing attempt. The purpose of this essay was to illuminate how daily and evening newspapers works with various framing methods.The theoretical framework for this essay will discuss the media framing theory and its ramification attribute framing theory. Omladdning av ett varumärke blir aktuellt när märkets brand equity stagnerat eller när företag önskar förändra de värden som är kopplade till varumärket. The purpose of this essay is to find an answer to whether the methodology used by the Naturskolan conduces to learning and also if the Naturskolan, as a method of its own, leads to an increased interest in natural science for the pupils participating in the classes at the Naturskolan.The method which has been used to reach the results of the study is a quantitative opinion poll. The results reached through the study has been compared to previous research in the subject. Deeper studies were made to examine however the interest of the pupils was influenced by their visit at the Naturskolan.The results of the study show an increase of interest in natural science after visiting the Naturskolan. It also shows that the teachers? interest in natural science and outdoor pedagogy has increased by the visit at the Naturskolan.Through this study we came to the conclusion that the Naturskolan is a good method to learning..

Syftet med denna studie är att, på tre skolor i en sydsvensk kommun, granska vilket perspektiv som råder - det relationella eller det kategoriska - och undersöka om någon perspektivförändring ägt rum i samband med implementeringen av regeringens proposition Hälsa, lärande och trygghet (2001/02:14) samt huruvida specialpedagogens relationella perspektiv haft någon betydelse i detta förändringsarbete. I inledningen beskrivs de tre huvuddelarna i studien; vilka perspektiv som kommer att fokuseras, specialpedagogsutbildningens utveckling och utvärdering samt implementeringen av elevhälsapropositionen. I litteraturdelen presenteras ramen för hela studien dvs. specialpedagogik. Därefter belyses innehållet i elevhälsapropositionen samt resoneras kring elever i behov av stöd.

The work as a personal assistant is sometimes associated with certain problems. Studies have shown that personal assistants often experience indistinct rules and roles concerning what should or should not be included in their duties. This study was undertaken to evaluate problems associated with the profession as a personal assistant, how widespread they are and how they are dealt with. Specifically, the study evaluates if the personal assistants have to do duties that they consider they are not assigned to do. Different roles (formal as informal) are also discussed which may be of current interest in this study, but also how we see people on basis of ethics and moral.

Litteraturstudiens syfte är att undersöka betydelsen av det specialpedagogiska arbetet med elever som är i behov av särskilt stöd i undervisningen. Fokus i studien är att ur ett specialpedagogiskt perspektiv undersöka lärarens betydelse för att alla elever inkluderas i en skola för alla. Att undersöka vilka metoder som förekommer i arbetssätten med elever som kräver särskilt stöd i undervisningen. The purpose of this study was to describe job satisfaction among employees and to analyse a possible connection between job satisfaction and employees experiences of SOC.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the view of Finnish dialects and identity of first, second and third generation of Sweden Finns students in 7th, 8th and 9th graders, in two Sweden Finn schools. The questions at issue for the essay were: How do Swedes of Finnish extraction think of the Finnish dialects? Is there a correlation between identifying as Finnish and knowledge and usage of the Finnish dialects, as opposed to Finns living in Finland? To which extent do the Finnish students have knowledge regarding the Finnish dialects? To answer the questions a quantitative method was used and a questionnaire was answered by over 100 students. The results of the study showed that the Finnish dialects did not exert any influence on the students? life nor their sense of identity.

Detta examensarbete ger en bild av hur högstadielärare ser på specialpedagoger och deras arbete på högstadiet. Det visar också lärarnas inställning till specialpedagoger och deras arbete. Resultatet visar att inställningen hos lärarna varierar men man har tillit till specialpedagogernas kompetens. Lärarna använde sig av de specialpedagogiska resurserna i varierande grad, där lärarna i kärnämnena använde sig mer av den specialpedagogiska resursen än övriga lärare..

The aim is to describe the factors that influence nurses' assessment and measurement of pain in patients. Literature study based on 13 reviewed articles, searched in the Cinahl. Qualitative and quantitative articles were analyzed. Six themes were identified that can be seen as the factors that influence nurses' assessment and measurement. The themes were   pain education, nurses´ experience in the profession, nurses´ level of knowledge about pain relief, documentation about pain, nurse´s perspective on the patient, and pain measurement.
