For one month during the beginning of 2011, the world followed the violent events in Libya. During this time the United Nations was faced with a complex question, could they handle the ongoing violence and find a solution to the killings or would the hostile situation go on. We now know what happened, but not why. It is this question that this essay aims to answer. This essay covers the discussion of sovereignty on the one hand and humanitarian intervention on the other and responsibility to protect in between.

This thesis work is about how technical consulting companies can accept their organization before a coming recession. Technical consulting companies are together with the rest of the actors in the construction business constantly depended on the current economic situation on the market. How to adapt the organisation depends on the current situation on the market.To adapt the organization in the best way possible the companies need to recruit and educate personal. It is then very important to find a solution on how the current change of generation in the companies will be handled. The large and very much competent group of 40-talists will in a few years retire.

The purpose of this essay was to study the family situation in connection to the absence of one parent due to participation in international peacekeeping and peace enforcement operations. Focus was on the temporarily absent parent's point of view. The study was based on five interviews with parents shortly after their returning home. The main questions has been how the parent described the child-parent relationship before, during and after the absence; the children's experience during this time according to the parent and the family's adjusting to and coping with the situation. Conclusions made from the study show that with a good stabile child-parent relationship and good parenting skills of both parents the families in this study were successful in coping with the situation.

Syftet med studien var att öka kunskaperna om och förståelsen för de äldre anhörigvårdarnas situation genom att låta dem berätta om sin situation ur egen synvinkel för de äldre anhörigvårdarna, 75 år eller äldre, som vårdar sin maka / make.Metoden som användes för att samla information var semistrukturerad intervju. Intervjutexterna analyserades med manifest innehållsanalys och med separat analys av de underliggande känslouttryck som framkom i intervjun.Resultatet visar att dessa äldre anhörigvårdares situation innefattar många dagliga stressorer. Deras sömn blir störd av vårdtagaren, de har aldrig en lugn stund utan de har beredskap dygnet runt, deras avlastningstid i samband med inköp är otillräcklig och skapar stress, möjligheterna till dagavlastning för egen tid är obefintlig, de blir isolerade, de är oroade därför att back-up saknas som kan ta över om deras egen hälsa sviker, färdtjänstlagen ger inget stöd för besvär som uppkommer vid normalt åldrande, de önskar en universalkontakt, så kallad hjälpkontakt för äldre vid kommunen samt saknar känslan av förståelse från kommunen om de konsekvenser det innebär att bli äldre oavsett hälsotillstånd.Slutsatsen är att det behövs mer forskning inom området för att vi skall kunna hjälpa dessa äldre anhörigvårdare till en värdigare tillvaro..

The background to this report is the author?s ambition to understand individuals? work situation, how it?s formed in interaction between the individual and factors in the work-setting. Such an ambition is well in line with the concept of Human-Technology-Organization (HTO), a cross-scientific approach that puts a system-oriented perspective on how human, technolog-ical and organizational factors interact within work systems.The aim of this report was to explore managers? work-situation and generate an understanding of it from an HTO-perspective by using an organizational model as a framework for an interview guide and to analyze the work situation from an HTO-perspective following the ques-tions at issue:1. Bakgrund: Vid prostatacancer är radikal prostatektomi en vanlig behandlingsmetod. Behandlingen förknippas dock med besvärliga biverkningar, så som erektil dysfunktion och urininkontinens. Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att belysa upplevelser av livskvalitet hos män som opererats med radikal prostatektomi på grund av prostatacancer med avseende på urologisk funktion, sexualitet samt psykosociala aspekter. Metod: En litteraturöversikt med 10 vetenskapliga artiklar som är baserad på både kvalitativa och kvantitativa studier. Resultat: Teman som identifierades var, ?Påverkan på urologisk funktion?, ?Påverkan på sexualitet? samt ?Psykosocial påverkan?.

Syftet med undersökningen är att få förståelse för faktorer som påverkar motivationen hos personalen på MSB (Myndigheten för Samhällsskydd och Beredskap). Undersökningen belyser dels den psykosociala arbetsmiljöns påverkan och dels ledningens betydelse för de anställdas motivation. I teoriavsnittet behandlas tre olika block: Motivation, Psykosocial arbetsmiljö och slutligen Management. Dessa tre block ligger således till grund för undersökningen och själva uppsatsen. För att få en djupare förståelse om ämnet har en kvalitativ metod valts, med intervju som datainsamlingsmetod.

Our purpose with this essay was to explore students? experiences of interdisciplinary working method in thematic form. With a starting point from Lpf-94, the curriculum for the upper secondary school and several theories of learning, we wanted to explore if interdisciplinary working method in practice could create an environment for a meaningful learning situation. The study took place in an upper secondary school class, study preparatory, third grade, who works interdisciplinary in thematic form. Our study was qualitative and we used an open structural questionnaire where the students confidentially were able to describe the working method, explain which subjects that participate in the work, and bring forward good respectively bad factors about the method.

Politicians attract their voters by promising more jobs and investment in education, health and social care. Against this background, I wonder how the situation of artists will be affected by the followingquestions:? What political views on the artist's position in society appeared in propositions of Socialdemokraterna and Moderaterna?? In what way did these propositions influence the conditions of artists?? How have the artists of Värmland been affected by different (Socialdemokraterna and Moderaterna) cultural policies? With my investigation I find out more about the artists' conditions on a national level, but I also investigate the situation in Värmland. By examining policy proposals and reports, I learn more about the issues. I also conduct a survey and three in-depth interviews to obtain opinions from various sources.The respondents are the cultural departments of Värmland and representatives from cultural organizations.What is clear from my research is that politicians differ on some issues, especially those relating to commercialism and artist salaries.

Då bistånd i många fall inte fungerat som förväntat har det bildats stark kritik där man menar att det är ineffektivt. En del av biståndsforskningen tittar på vilka faktorer som kan göra biståndet effektivare.Debatten har resulterat i att man i Sverige år 2007 genomförde en Landfokusering där valde man ut 33 länder för fortsatt samarbete. År 2011 har dock ingen större skillnad skett i hur många länder Sverige ger bistånd till. I den här uppsatsen genomförs en ekonometrisk tvärsnittsanalys där jag vill studera sambandet mellan storleken på biståndet år 2011 och ett antal förklarande variabler.Mitt resultat indikerar att Sverige ger mycket till länder som redan får mycket bistånd av andra. Resultatet visar även att Sverige ger mer till de 33 utvalda samarbetsländerna än övriga biståndsmottagare..

Background: A group severely affected by health issues, the experiences of homeless alcohol and drug abusers in the coverage of their medical care needs is not satisfactory. Aim: The aim of the study is to explore which factors experienced by homeless alcohol and drug abusers in Uppsala in regards to their living situation affected their health, their perception of access to healthcare, the character of treatment received and coping strategies used outside of the healthcare system. Method: Nine people who had experienced both homelessness and substance abuse problem were recruited for the study during their visit to Stadsmissionens facilities for the homeless. Data was collected through qualitative, semi-structured interviews including two women and seven men. Data was analyzed using qualitative content analysis according to Giorgi modified by Malterud.Results: Among homeless substance abusers interviewed experiences of unwelcoming and prejudiced healthcare were described.

Antalet personer med demenssjukdomar ökar i takt med att befolkningen blir allt äldre och en stor del av vården av personer med demenssjukdom utförs av anhöriga. För att kunna stödja anhörigvårdare är det viktigt att sjuksköterskor har kunskap om hur anhöriga upplever sin situation. Syftet med studien var att beskriva anhörigas upplevelse av att vårda personer med demenssjukdom. För att besvara syftet har en litteraturstudie genomförts där 12 kvalitativa artiklar analyserats. Ur analysen framkom sju teman: Upplevelse av stress, svårigheter och otillräcklighet, Upplevelse av sorg och förlust, Upplevelse av förändrade relationer och roller, Upplevelse av förpliktelse, Upplevelse av välbefinnande, Upplevelse av stöd, samt Upplevelse av att bemästra och skapa mening i sin situation.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på hur en daglig verksamhet för flickor mellan 13 och 20 år med psykosocial problematik kan se ut. Verksamheten ska innehålla hästhållning samt utbildning i bland annat livskunskap. Målet med verksamheten är att stärka flickornas självkänsla och kunskaper och på så sätt förbereda dem för ett kommande vuxenliv.För att ta reda på detta har vi använt oss av följande frågeställningar: ? Hur kan psykosocialt behandlingsarbete kombineras med hästhållning?? Hur kan livskunskap användas i behandlingssyfte i denna typ av psykosocial verksamhet?? Hur ska organisation och ledarskap se ut i en verksamhet av ovanstående slag?Bakgrunden till vår uppsats är att den psykiska ohälsan bland barn och unga i Sverige har ökat. Trots att det är skolplikt i Sverige finns det många barn som har hög frånvaro i skolan.

Based on the concept of rhetorical situation, the purpose of this study is to compare and describe the three Socialist leader's May Day speech from the years 1954, 1978 and 2011. The results of the analysis showed that there is a big difference in how the leaders chooses to appeal to the rhetorical audience. Erlander, 1954, never appealed directly to his audience which Palme, 1978, did both initially as repeatedly throughout his speech. Juholt, 2011, has a personal and frequent appeal which is repeated throughout his speech, which is interpreted as a sign of the intimization of the public language. It proved difficult to discuss the Socialist rhetoric as one unified form.

Theological background is provided through intertextual research on its occurences in the Septuagint (Ex 19:6; 23:22 and 2 Macc 2:17). Analysis of the theological and rhetorical functions of ????????? in First Peter builds on rhetorical methods, and predominantly the work of professor Lauri Thurén.
