The purpose of this study was to examine how modern information and communication technology influence collective action within the framework of social movements. By studying the protests in the Arab World 2011, and focusing on the social movements in Suleimanya in northern Iraq, by observation taken on place, the essay discusses that collective action is closely related to the use of technology, for example cell phones and Internet.Result shows that modern communication technology has enabled immeasurable access andconnection between individuals throughout the world, which seems to be different from previouscollective action. The new communication channels in the form of social media, has been used for the dissemination of information and news, documentation, organization and membership recruitment in the social movements in the Arab World and Suleimanya. The new social movements have the tendency to be decentralized and flattened organized, they are now self-organizing and that they only do a whole as global patterns, as evidenced by the social movements in the Arab World andSuleimanya..

The purpose of this article is to examine how social workers may experience fear in their profession, how they and their organizations handle the fear and how the fear may affect their practice. To obtain the purpose, in-depth interviews were carried out with seven social workers from the southeastern part of Sweden. The experiences of fear were many and are summarized in four categories. Fear of treats and violence, fear of the responsibility in complicated situations and without optimal solution, fear of being regarded and judged as worthless and fear of being scrutinized with the risk of being stigmatized. The aim of this study was to examine the relations between sense of coherence (SOC), perceived social support and mood, the study also included gender and civil status in the analysis. In the analysis mood was the dependent variable. The study included 81 respondents, all students from Växjö university, who answered a survey with three parts: SOC 13, Mood Adjective Checklist (MACL), and an own constructed instrument that measured perceived social support. The result showed that those with a high SOC tended to have a greater mood. High scores on perceived social support also were related to a greater mood.

Det finns olika syften med att använda social mediamen värdet kommer inte från plattformen i sig utan från hur den används. För attett företag ska använda social media kan det finnas anledning att acceptera och varamedvetna om att kritik riktat till företaget offentliggörs. Människors levnadsvanor har förändrats de senaste 20 åren. Minskad fysisk aktivitet tillsammans med ohälsosamma matvanor leder till både övervikt, hjärtsjukdomar och psykisk ohälsa. Hälso- och sjukvården arbetar med olika metoder i förebyggandet och behandlandet av komplikationer som ohälsosamma levnadsvanorna skapar. Sjuksköterskan har en viktig roll i hälsofrämjande arbete där motiverandet till egenvård ingår. Egenvård innebär att ta hand om sig själv genom goda och hälsosamma livsvanor och kan innebära fysisk aktivitet.

Professionella har svårt att upptäcka barn till psykiskt sjuka och får på så sätt svårt att informera barnen om vad det innebär att ha en psykiskt sjuk förälder samt att ge hjälp och stöd. Samverkan mellan organisationer runt dessa barn är svag av många olika anledningar såsom tystnadsplikt och sekretess. I och med den bristande samverkan blir det svårt för organisationerna att fånga upp barnet och ge den hjälp och de stöd som behövs. Skolan är en värld där barn till psykiskt sjuka ibland upptäcks, oftast genom bristfälliga skolresultat eller olika psykosociala problem men det händer att barnen själva söker sig till en stödorganisation, skolkurator eller liknande för att få hjälp.  Det har framtagits olika program och strategier för att försöka hjälpa barn till psykiskt sjuka men det krävs fortsatt forskning inom ämnet för att förhoppningsvis finna en lösning på samverkansproblematiken och på så sätt kunna nå ut till och hjälpa fler barn till psykiskt sjuka..

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka nätverksarbetets betydelse inom psykiatrin. Om nätverksarbete används och i sådana fall vad det finns för motiveringar till att använda respektive inte använda denna typ av insatser. För att besvara frågeställningarna genomförde vi fyra intervjuer med kuratorer anställda inom denna verksamhet. Vi har valt att göra intervjuerna på två öppenvårdsmottagningar och två slutna avdelningar i Stockholm. Intervjuerna genomförde vi efter en semistrukturerad frågemall.

The purpose of this paper is to find more understanding for pupils in compensatory educational situations and get an idea about how they place themselves in the social hierarchy. In my study I have interviewed four pupils with different experiences from school with the common denominator of being placed in a special class during some hours of the week. The purpose of this placement is to get them to achieve better results in various subjects depending on their grade but this also means a social separation from friends in the ordinary class and this doesn't correspond well with the democratic idea of "one school for all".What I found was that these pupils categorize themselves different from each other and while two of the pupils find themselves very included in the school's social network the remaining two had problems functioning satisfactory in a social matter according to their own liking. The feeling of exclusion though can not be connected to their participation in the special class but rather to their earlier social experiences..

This study explores the different effects on attitude and behaviour three frequently used advertising techniques have. The techniques compared are social influence and egoistic and altruistic benefit-appeals. The results showed that ads featuring social influence had statistically significant higher mean values regarding attitude towards the ad compared to both the other ads, and significantly higher mean values regarding brand attitude compared to the ad appealing to egoistic motivations. Though, all advertising effectiveness measures used in this study - that is, attitude and intention variables - indicated that social influence was more effective than the other advertising messages. Thus, in accord with earlier studies, it can be stated with confidence that social influence is an effective tool to use in marketing communications..
