Steg 18a : En kvalitativ analys av LUS

The purpose of this paper is to examine how teachers comprehend LUS as a development program, but also how they think about one of the points in the program. The study is based on interviews with five teachers working with ages between preschool to ninth grade.The results show that the development program is splendid, it doesn?t come with a lot of paperwork and it has a humanistic approach. When it comes to point 18a which is the main examination, the teachers mainly agree with each other. They all talk about preunderstanding, reading speed and the amount of literature as the main characteristics to be placed at point 18a.

Yrkespersonlig utveckling på Musikhögskolan i Malmö - En undersökning av lärarstudenters tankar kring självreflektion i lärarrollen.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate whether personal development, from the professional perspective, could be a relevant part of the music education department at Malmö Academy of Music. The thesis explores whether students would gain a better understanding of the professional teacher's role through personal development, and also the kind of educational structure that would be most suitable to achieve this understanding. A qualitative focal group interview was used as a method, and the participants where four students at Malmö Academy of Music. The results show that the students generally would be open-minded to integrate personal development in their educational program, and they also have a lot of interesting ideas regarding how a framework for the integration of personal development in the educational program could be structured. A number of suggestions how to integrate self reflection in the educational program are presented in the thesis.

Metodutveckling av självskattningsformulär för prestationsmätning av flygledare innan skiftstart

This paper was part of the ongoing cooperation between the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority and the Department of Psychology at Lund University. The purpose of this study was to develop a self-report measure regarding human factors, for the air traffic controllers to fill out before they start their working shift. This in order to aid the team leaders in their judgment regarding the air traffic controller's ability to perform at the right safety level. The self-report measure would also serve as an aid for the air traffic controllers who have a responsibility regarding their own performance. If successful this self-report measure would make it easier for the air traffic controllers to be alert regarding certain factors that can have a large impact on their performance.

Den psykiska hälsan hos barn och ungdomar placerade i familjehem : En kvantitativ studie på 38 familjehemsplacerade barn och ungdomar

Denna studie undersöker och beskriver den psykiska hälsan hos en grupp barn och ungdomar placerade i familjehem i en större stad i södra Sverige. 42 barn och ungdomar i åldrarna 11 till 20 år valdes ut från en kohort bestående av 52 som vid något tillfälle under 2005 befann sig placerade i familjehem. Till barnen administrerades Youth Self Report (YSR), till en av familjehemsföräldrarna Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) och till barnens lärare Teacher´s Report Form (TRF). Data från barnens socialakter samlades också in. Totala problemskalorna för CBCL och TRF visade att andelen barn på klinisk nivå uppgick till 23 % medan motsvarande siffra för YSR var 9 %.

Anpassning mot vald studieinriktning - En utvärdering av kursen Datorkunskap inom gymnasieskolans yrkesförberedande program

Kursen Datorkunskap ingår i 15 av de 17 nationella program som finns inom gymnasieskolan idag. I styrdokumenten finns tydliga riktlinjer på att flera delar i kursen ska anpassas till vald studieinriktning . Varje program har sitt eget programmål där inriktningar och förslag på områden för samverkan och infärgning lyfts fram. Styrdokumenten betonar vikten av samverkan mellan lärare och infärgning av ämnen för att programmen ska uppfylla sina mål. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att utvärdera hur anpassningen av kursen Datorkunskap sker i olika studieinriktningar utifrån styrdokumenten.

Skolprestation, genus och psykisk (o)hälsa: en kvalitativ studie av gymnasieungdomars förhållningssätt

The aim of the study was to explore the psychological well-being of a group of adolescents in relation to how they regarded achieving in school, in a gender perspective. Twenty semi-structured interviews were conducted with students aged 17-19 at a high-achieving school in a big city in Sweden. The interviews were analyzed thematically and the results showed that the adolescents acted differently as well as regarded achieving in school differently depending on gender. The young women were driven by ambition, they were high-achieving and planning for the future. The young men cared less about achieving and thought more about the present.

Investeringskalkylens svarta får - en studie om utvärderingen av ledarskapsutvecklingsprogram

The concept of leadership development plays an important role within the modern organization. As a result of the increasing interest in developing leadership competencies, investments in leadership development programs are becoming a common part of business strategies. However, the return on those investments is seldom evaluated. The reason for this is considered to be the complexity created by the many factors that influence leadership but have no relation to the program. This is a case study based on interviews with participants from a one-year leadership development program that was carried out at AB Previa.

Värdering och hantering av ungdomsverksamheten inom idrottsföreningar

The aim with this study was to describe how the board members of athletic clubs view and value their youth program. A qualitative approach was used in form of interviews. The interviews were made face to face as well as being taped, this to facilitate the analysis. When the board members viewed their youth program to be in alignment with the overall club philosophy there was a discrepancy between their views and the ?de facto? conditions of the youth program.

Tre studenter med ADHD berättar om upplevelsen av att läsa i högre utbildning

Research shows that there is a lack of knowledge of adult students with ADHD. Most of all research focuses on children with ADHD in school. The purpose of this study was to gain a better understanding of how adult learners with ADHD experience academic studies related to cognitive difficulties, emotion, motivation, and their experience of SOC. The questions tried to determine how any cognitive difficulties and emotions are perceived, how students' motivation to study impacted and their experience of SOC based on studies in higher education. To answer the purpose and questions used qualitative interviews based on three students with ADHD using a hermeneutic method.

Demokrati vid sidan av kärnan : En studie av folkbibliotekens programverksamheter utifrån ett demokratiperspektiv

In this master thesis, I investigate four Public Librarys´ program activities. The purpose is to explore what the library program activities contribute to as a part of a well functioning democracy. The theoretical points, I have brought from political science. I assume three different ideals of democracy; electoral democracy, participation democracy and deliberative democracy. All have different views on what can be characterized by a well-functioning democracy.My empirical material consists of library program guides, the libraries´ target documents and interviews with staff at the libraries who work with or have overall responsibility for program activities in their respective libraries.

Individuella programmet : en socialpsykologisk studie baserad på elevers och lärares erfarenheter

Individuella programmet är ett program inom gymnasieskolan avsett för elever som inte läser något av de nationella programmen. Syftet med vår studie är att belysa det pedagogiska arbete som bedrivs inom det individuella programmet och dess betydelse för elever som inte kommer in på något av gymnasieskolans nationella program. För att få svar på syftet kommer kulturen på utvald skola att belysas, vilken påverkan har denna på elevernas skolgång? Vi vill även undersöka hur eleverna upplever sin skolgång på den studerade skolan, samt jämföra dessa upplevelser mot tidigare skolor eleverna studerat på. Baserat i ett antagande att eleverna kan uppfatta sig själva som avvikare på grund av individuella svårigheter i skolan kommer vi att undersöka hur eleverna definierar sig själv på skolan i fråga, samt tidigare skolor de studerat på.

Transformativt ledarskap - en förutsättning för produktivt teamklimat och egeneffektivitet?

In the faster growing pace of changes and competition in the global economy, factors promoting group effectiveness are of interest. How do components of leadershipstyle, especially transformational, team climate and selfefficacy correlate? To answer this question 3 questionnaires regarding leadershipstyle (MLQ), team climate (TCI-Short) and selfefficacy (self developed) were distributed to employees of a Swedish installation company (108 participants). Moderate positive correlations were found between climate and selfefficacy and between varying elements of leadership and selfefficacy. The leadership behaviour Contingent Reward correlated moderately with all climate dimensions and strongly with selfefficay.

Kulturers påverkan på upplevelsen av arbetslösa och meningen med arbete

The aim of the study was to distinguish if there was a difference between how work is perceived and how unemployed are viewed by people in collectivistic and individualistic cultures. A phenomenological approach was used in order to capture the participants life-worlds and their meaning constitution of a phenomenon, in this case the meaning of work and how unemployed are viewed. Subjects from different parts of the world, belonging to either a collectivistic or individualistic culture, participated in this study. Data was collected by self-reports which were analyzed by the method of MCA (Meaning Constitution Analysis) and the software Minerva. The results indicated that there were differences in how individuals from collectivistic cultures compared to individuals from individualistic cultures reflected about the meaning of work.

Illustrationers påverkan av uppfattningen av olika typsnitt

Syftet med studien var att studera hur typsnitt uppfattas, och särskilt hur dessa uppfattningar påverkas av illustrationer med varierande innehåll. Stimuli skapades genom att kombinera 3 olika illustrationer och 5 olika typsnitt, totalt 15 stimuli. Försöksgruppen bestod av 18 personer, 11 kvinnor och 7 män. Åldersspannet var från 22 till 67 år. Deltagarna fick individuellt markera på skattningsskalor hur varje stimuli uppfattades, efter 7 olika dimensioner.
