Detta examensarbete är utfört på Scania Ferruform AB i Luleå, helägt dotterbolag till Scania. Scania och Ferruform arbetar ständigt med förbättringar där en del av förbättringsarbetet handlar om att minimera avvikelser som uppkommer i produktionen. Sidobalken har under en längre tid omgärdats av avvikelser när det gäller hantering och transport av produkten. Företaget har idag en önskan om att kunna minska de negativa orsaker som påverkar produkten sidobalk. Examensarbetets syfte har varit att se över vad som händer under hantering och godstransport av sidobalken samt säkra kvaliteten av processen fram till produktionsort.

The aim of this essay is to contribute to a better understanding of the prehistoric site Flyhov in the province of V?sterg?tland, Sweden and its immediate surroundings from an archaeological perspective. The site contains material artistic and ritual expressions from different prehistoric periods, and its long use-history (from the Stone Age until today) shows that the site, and its remains, has attracted the interest from people in prehistory, in modern times, as well as today. With a point of departure in perspectives derived from hermeneutics and phenomenology the essay examines the site?s prehistoric remains, the use of, and the interest directed towards, the site and its remains during different time- and use-horizons and how these horizons have been affected and intertwined with each other, in a manner where earlier material expressions have affected people and their new expressions.

I denna rapport beskrivs ett projektarbete vars syfte har varit att undersöka hur företagsavveckling kan förenas med samhälleligt företagsansvar med avseende på personalen. Vi gjorde detta genom att titta på hur företaget Scanias avveckling av axelfabriken i Falun gick till, en avveckling som av intressenter anses ha skötts bra och ansvarsfullt. Då avveckling av verksamhet är något som många företag genomför till följd av en strävan efter att vara konkurrenskraftiga på den globala marknaden, är det intressant att se hur detta kan göras och samtidigt ta ett ansvar gentemot de anställda.Rapporten gjordes utifrån en kvalitativ fallstudie där material har inhämtats genom intervjuer och en litteraturstudie. Inledningsvis beskrivs begreppet Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) för att sedan gå över i en redogörelse för vad som gjordes under avvecklingen. Rapporten avslutas med vad vi anser var CSR under avvecklingen samt sammanvävande diskussioner om detta.

During spring 2005 I, Hanna Brogård, undertook my bachelor degree project in furniture design. The supervisors were Glenn Henningsson at Njudex in Vrigstad and Leó Jóhannson, teacher and examiner at Carl Malmsten CTD in Stockholm.The project was based on three elements:Design concept for upholstered furnitureCooperate together with a sofa producer for professional supervision and to learn more about industrial production and upholstery techniqueLearn more about furniture history of styleI contacted a sofa producer called Njudex, in the province of Småland, who became my work partner during this project. Eclecticism is the name of the furniture styles that became popular during the mid-nineteenth century. It develops from a new, rich society class arisen from industry and trade. The trend is based on the escape from reality to dreams of foreign countries, past centuries and nature.

It`s important that every person take responsebly for her own lifestyle to promote health.Today the individuel often knows the consequense of a certain lifestyle, but she doesn`t know how to change the negative behavior. Health profile assesment (HPA) is a method where you through conversation transfer knowledge and awarness about the member. The healthprofiler also motivate to a healthier lifestyle. Our purpose with this studie was to examine how individuels effects of a health profile assesment also illuminate which part of the health profile assesment the individuels have noticed and which way of living they change. To answer our purpose we used a quantitative transverse study in the way ofquestionnairexamination as we shared to a selection (n=193) on different companies inOstergotland and Scania.

This bachelor thesis summarises the history of ?Jämtgården? based on literature research andempirical documentation. Jämtgården is a typical 1800th century duplex timber buildingoriginating from the province of Jämtland. However, it was moved to Västernorrlandslänsmuseum in Härnösand in the year of 1918. During the 1920's the museum decided tofocus on the region of Västernorrland and therefore Jämtgården was somewhat left behind.The building's interior walls are decorated with distemper paintings but the current conditionis poor.The aim of this thesis is primarily to compile knowledge about the building and its interiordecorations as well as finding out whether primary distemper paintings, from the periodbefore the relocation, remain on the walls.

Denna rapport summerar ett kartläggningsprojekt av underhållsteknikers arbetsmiljö vid DynaMate AB i Södertälje. Projektet har löpt mellan augusti och december 2010 inom ramen för examensarbete inför en civilingenjörsexamen vilket motsvarar 30 högskolepoäng, 20 veckors heltidsstudier. Projektet begränsades fysiskt till att omfatta underhållsarbete av bearbetningsutrustning inom Scania CV AB:s transmissionsenhet. Projektet syftar till att belysa brister och tillkortakommanden inom arbetsmiljöaspekter och arbetsmiljöarbete samt resultera i förslag till förändringar. Underhållsarbete består av mindre och större arbetsuppgifter av såväl förebyggande som avhjälpande karaktär vid många olika typer av arbetsutrustning.

This Degree Project was about finding the best loudspeaker placement in a heavyweight truck and also the best suited loudspeaker for this task. The project took place in Södertälje, Sweden, on behalf of Scania CV AB. The goal was to create a new listening environment in a truck cabinet.The results were accomplished by the performance of a few different tasks. First a benchmark was made on Scanias top competitors. Second a listening test was made to get an apprehension of what people find lacking in the sound reproduction of the sound system.

Detta examensarbete är det avslutande momentet på civilingenjörsutbildningen Ergonomisk design och produktion. Arbetet har utförts på Scanias utvecklingsavdelning för hyttergonomi och design i Södertälje och handlar om hur framtidens lastbilar kommer att styras. Utgångspunkten har varit att skapa förbättringar i- och kring förarplatsen med fokus på ratten. Scania är en världsledande tillverkare av tunga lastbilar och bussar, företaget grundades år 1891 i Södertälje, där det idag har sitt huvudkontor. Scania utvecklar, tillverkar och marknadsför lastbilar för fjärrtrafik, bygg- och anläggningstransporter samt distribution.

SammanfattningI detta examensarbete studeras hur uppmätt och upplevd nertid kan minimerasunder systemunderhåll. Studien fokuserar på databaserna samt arkitekturenför databasernas närliggande komponenter. Modellerna datamigrering i realtid,rullande uppgraderingar samt blågrön driftsättning undersöks och utvärderassom alternativ för minimering av nertid med avseende på hårdvara, verksamhet,leverans och kunder. I studien har ett hermeneutiskt synsätt använts. Empiriskaintervjuer med anställda samt observationer av driftsättningar har utförts.Ändringar i arkitektur implementerades utifrån existerande modeller förminskad nertid.

På Scania väntar stora utmaningar i framtiden. Ständigt ökande konkurrens kräver ständiga förbättringar av produktion och produktionsstruktur. På Chassimonteringen i Södertälje monteras lastbilar samman. Detta examensarbete har utförts på en avdelning på Chassimonteringen där lastbilshytterna förbereds för att monteras på lastbilschassit. På denna avdelning, Hyttförmonteringen eller helt enkelt Förmonteringen, finns stora möjligheter till förbättringar.

The production of cut flowers has diminished in Sweden and the remaining growers produce mainly in greenhouses. This situation could be changed if hardy, garden perennials suitable for Swedish conditions were to be used as cut flowers. A grower with suitable equipment as plastic tunnels or houses would be able to provide florists with an attractive assortment of perennials for cutting, during an extended selling period compared with the natural flowering period for these cultivars. This assortment would be based upon imported perennials already used by florists, but would also contain new products. To investigate the demand for locally field grown perennials as cut flowers, an inquiry took place.
