Enligt Erlingsdottir (1999) överförs idéer urskiljningslöst till offentlig förvaltning från privat sektor, där de förväntas föra med sig den öppna marknadens mest åtråvärda egenskaper. Vilket sällan blir fallet. NPM (New Public Management) och revisionstrenden, är exempel på dessa idéer.

The project has involved the development of two kinds of shooting targets in partnership with Marcus Bergkvist and Christopher Åkerblom. The project from the client was divided into two parts. This thesis discusses solutions for hands-on transport, development of tripods and an overall design. The second thesis affect resetting systems for the products.The work was done with a process and methodology based on design perspectives. This process has involved the search of relevant data which has provided the platform and opportunity for appropriate and purposeful design work.Concept development has been done using hand sketches and Photoshop, where a simple visualization of different concepts for the tripods has been produced.

I have been inspired by the Do It Yourself movement. DIY builds on the creativity of the individual, one?s capacity for initiative and one?s desire to realise one?s ideas. I have been inspired by sheets of pattern paper used in the manufacture of clothing, and my line of furniture is based on two-dimensional patterns of furniture. The sections of the pieces of furniture are printed on and relate to a standard sheet of plywood.

This project includes a small study of Västerås city's housing needs, and a proposal on theuse of the property 1:207, Lantmännens silo in the Eastern Harbour, Västerås.The project intends to produce a basic study of the useful systems for this rebuilding projectwith regards to sustainable development and energy saving light buildings.The end result, which consists of a detailed visualization of the proposal, intends to becomean iconic natural focus for the Eastern port of Västerås and an example of the use andadaptation of existing structures.The property must also link the eastern parts of Västerås with the center through anextension of Mälarleden.The work has been performed through literature studies, site visits, contacts with the City ofVästerås and by calculations.The proposal consists of architectural proposals drawings and visualizations.Furthermore, a suggestion is given of how the property can be used and fitted into theoverall plan for urban density development currently underway in the city of Västerås.Computer programs used have been Microsoft Office Excel, AutoCAD and ArchiCAD..

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att ta del av teamets samlade erfarenheter av deras uppfattningar om vilka känslor, existentiella tankar och reaktioner döende patienter kan ge uttryck för, hur team-medlemmarna bemöter dessa samt deras uppfattning om teamets betydelse. Urval: Tio deltagare ur vårdteamet på hospice, nio kvinnor och en man, deltog i studien. Metod: Data samlades in genom semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer. Analysresultat: Analysarbetet resulterade i tre teman. Dessa teman var Döende patienters existentiella tankar och reaktioner, Personalens bemötande samt Teamets betydelse.

Minor utgör ett hot mot civilbefolkningen men även personal i fredsfrämjande insatser riskerar att skadas av minorna under patruller i insatsområdet. Idag används minhunden i Försvarsmakten för att lokaliera minor i kombination med minpik och metalldetektor. Hunden har sina begränsningar och har under flera perioder varit på väg att fasas ut till förmån för tekniken. Minans doftbild, minhunden och den elektroniska nosen beskrivs och mynnar ut i en analys där för-/nackdelar presenteras och därefter diskuteras. The goal with my project was to explore what it is that distinguishes Berlin as a city and then translate that into abstract patterns. The patterns are made for wallpaper and are presented in a book as a collection.After spending six months almost constantly abroad visiting many different citys I began to wonder what it is that makes a city unique. Sometimes it feels as though cities are reduced to the sum of their famous sights. But of course a city is more than that. It?s the people who live in it, the history, architecture and culture.

This is a project about learning from an experience, about trying to have fun and not getting overwhelmed and draining your work. The thing that wraps this whole experience together is the making of a book. The purpose of making the book has been to bring two interests together, illustration and graphic design.The content of the book for this graduation project is written by Fredrik Mårtensson. His poetry tells about the unnatural state of the modern society. I have interpreted the poetry in six abstract illustrations that I made digitally, with the intent to maintain the feeling of something organic.The process of making this book is a lot about learning what it actually takes to finish it, about trying to tell something and a lot about experience practical work..

Syftet med denna slutreflektion är att visa problemen men även möjligheterna i marknadsföringen av spelet Forced2Fight av det lilla teamet i Kick the Owl Productions. Begränsad budget, osäker framtid för både team och spel är något som måste övervinnas. För att kunna angripa dessa problem har jag studerat en rad olika tillvägagångssätt och kommit fram till ett lämpligt tillvägagångssätt riktat åt gräsrötterna för att bygga upp varumärket. Den effektivaste strategin bör i min mening vara att marknadsföra gruppen via traditionella medier och förankra spelet i den relevanta målgruppen direkt via fora och andra sociala medier. Kontakta både framträdande medlemmar i sociala grupper samt expertgrupper bestående av kunniga spelentuseaster.

The aim of this study has been to investigate the significance of the newly started project Vimmerbymodellen for unaccompanied young refugees. This regarding to how the unaccompanied young refugees are participating in creating networks and meeting points in the local community. Vimmerbymodellen is described as an integration project where the nonprofit sector collaborates with the municipality. The empirical material has been collected through semi-structured qualitative interviews where five unaccompanied young refugees and four involved adults have been interviewed. The empirical material from these interviews has thereafter been analyzed through the concept of social capital, identity and empowerment.The main result of this study shows that participation in the project is expected to contribute to the creation of networks and meeting points which has significance for unaccompanied young refugees.

Theproject is based on an inspection made by Arbetsmiljöverket, where they found minorshortcomings with distribution of goods for the employees. The project is an investigation ofthe drivers? working environment.Schenker Logistics is one of the world's leading providers of integrated logistics services.Schenker Åkeri AB is a subsidiary to Schenker Logistics and transports 2.4 million tons ofgoods yearly.The project started with a background study to evaluate drivers working environment. Wehave studied goods receptions, the working environment, strain injury and injury mechanisms.Methods used was observations, tests, questionnaire surveys and ergonomic andbiomechanical calculations.One result of the study is a working model, which gives recommendations for the maximumweight a driver should push and pull.

During spring 2007, I Matilda Lindblom, undertook my Bachelor Degree project in Furniture Design. The supervisors were Agneta Stake at Nola in Stockholm and Leo Jóhannsson, teacher and examiner at Carl Malmsten CTD in Stockholm.The project was based on three elements:? Cooperate together with a producer for professional supervision? Learn to work from a given design brief.? To learn more about industrial production? Learn more about furniture for public areasI contacted a furniture producer called Nola AB, in Stockholm, who became my work partner during this project. The asked me to design a piece of furniture where you can sit and work with a laptop on. The target was for public areas, for example in parks, malls, or at airports.In cooperation with Nola, my ambition was to develop this piece of furniture that was the answers on their wishes and demands.

We are two students of Horticulture management with marketing profile, now doing an extended course in Business Leadership within horticulture and agriculture. During our 2 years of studies we have used the same company once before, and this project is an expansion of a previous piece of work. We decided, in agreement with the company, to use an inquiry for our study. For this we have contacted 290 of the company's already existing customers. The primary purpose of the survey is to analyze the service offered by the company.

Denna uppsats behandlar fenomenet chefslöst medarbetarskap. Ett teoretiskt område som går att relatera till självstyrande team, delat ledarskap och informellt ledarskap. Alla är företeelser som kan kopplas till platta organisationer, vilket är en organisationsform som under 2000-talet blivit allt vanligare. Detta väckte ett intresse hos undersökningsgruppen där frågor angående vilka effekter ett chefslöst medarbetarskap kan ha i en organisation uppstod. I uppsatsen redogör därför författarna, med hjälp av fallföretaget Fresh AB, för dessa effekter.Undersökningen i fallföretaget genomfördes med fem fokusgrupper med deltagare från olika delar och team i fallföretaget.

Kulturvårdscentrum was a project that had great significance for local folklore societies in Bohuslän.Bohusläns museum was i charge of the project that lasted from 1987 until about 2001 when most ofthe original staff have retired. The staff was mainly recruited from a large shipyard, Uddevallavarvet,at it's closure due to recession. Financing was largely made by the government to help outthose unemployed who otherwise should have a hard time finding a new job. At start there was about25 employees who where trained for one year by staff from Swedish museums, conservation studios,and teachers the university. The education was aimed at serving local folklore societies, and dealingwith their special problems.
