Stress is commonly found in society today. This paper aims to examine how work performance, cooperation and team spirit are maintained in demanding work environments. By studying two departments in a public hospital that practises addiction care, our findings suggest the following: If the experienced stress is mainly connected to challenge stressors, it has a positive effect on work performance. By organising work through mechanistic and organic structure, the handling of qualitative and quantitative stress is facilitated. As a consequence, first and foremost cooperation can be maintained, but also work performance and team spirit.

In today?s changing environment, creation of projects by organizations has become more common. The problem is, though, that the knowledge of the subject is still limited which causes many projects to fail. This has made it extra important to have a good project manager whocanlead the project in the right direction. While doing this both the project method and the project manager?s motivation are contributing sources.

ABSTRACTWe have chosen to write an essay about competence because we think that it is an important and a current subject of interest, both to us as future team leaders, but also to all activities within the community. We have a background working with eldercare and we have noticed that there are continued changes going on. This made us want to study what team leaders and their staff think about competence and the development of competence. The purpose of this study is to analyse how team leaders work to develop competence with their personnel working in home care. We also want to analyse how the personnel experience their competence and their need for development of competence.

This thesis is a report concerning the practical aspects on exhibition techniques. During an internship at the National History Museum in Stockholm I participated in the work with their new, temporary exhibition Gränslöst - en global utställning på Historiska museet [Boundless - a global voyage of discovery at the National Historical Museum]. I was part of a small Project team of museum staff. The purpose of this exhibition was to show how cultures have met and influenced each other throughout history. The National Historical Museum has in its collections and exhibitions several examples of objects that has been imported from or inspired by other cultural areas.

Hjärtsvikt är en sjukdom som är vanlig idag i Sverige och prevalens siffrorna stider. Syftet med denna stuide var att studera om hjärtsviktspatienter önskar ett team runt sig med ansats på olika egenvårds och omvårdnadsåtgärder och på vilket sätt de önskar få hjälp av teamet för att förbättra sin livskvalitet. På vilket sätt uppfattar de att ett vårdteam kan öka deras livskvalitet efterdiagnos. Åtta patienter födda mellan 1922-1942 deltog, fyra kvinnor och fyra män. Resultatet visar att informanterna har symtom som de tror beror på hög ålder, de anpassar sina aktiviteter efter vad de orkar göra, att det upplevs svårt att komma in i värdsvängen men när man väl är inne, är upplevelsen att man får bra vård.

The purpose of this study was to investigate registered nurses experiences about the current model for triage at the emergency department at Uppsala University Hospital. The study is descriptive with qualitative approach. The data collection was made in the form of semi structured interviews. The interviews took place at the emergency department. The sample consisted of eight registered nurses with varying work experience of emergency care.

This report will detail the participator view of partnering in Kvarteret Frodeparken. Kvarteret Frodeparken is a new construction project being jointly delivered by Skanska Sverige AB and Uppsalahem AB. The report will focus on the comparison between the participators view of partnering with an emphasis on common partnering goals. The report will also focus on the economical benefits, the time benefits and the social environment benefits you can find in partnering.The principals of partnering are; participants together make the common goals for the projects, make ice breaking activities to improve stakeholder engagement and working with an open economy to find the profitable choice for the project. With a combination of the three principals the team together decide the best solution for the project.

The Project team has developed new power-efficient LED lighting fixtures inorder to implement an internal power source in the trailer. The result of this has becomea maintenance-free and wireless product to trailers.

I samband med en organisationsförändring så kan ett företag få olika konkurrensfördelar. En konkurrensfördel är bland annat att öka på motivationen hos teamet, vilket är en faktor som skapar effektivitet i ett företag. Syftet med uppsatsen är att få en ökad förståelse för vad som skapar motivation hos team i deras dagliga arbete efter en organisationsförändring. Den empiriska studien har jag gjort med en kvalitativ ansats bestående av fem personliga intervjuer i en fallstudie av LKAB. Empirin från företaget analyserar jag sedan med de teorier som jag har valt.

Under de senaste decennierna har det blivit allt populärare att organisera olika typer av verk­samheter i team. Vår avsikt med detta examensarbete var att skapa en förståelse för vad ett team är, när team är det bästa arbetssättet, hur man förankrar ett team samt vilka faktorer organisationer bör ta i beaktande i strävan att skapa ett väl fungerande team. I vår empiriska undersökning genomfördes semistrukturerade intervjuer med ledningen och teamledarna inom en organisation som nyligen infört en teambaserad organisation. I resultaten speglas ledningens och teamledarnas upplevelser av denna process. Våra resultat visar att det finns många faktorer som bör tas i beaktande då man organiserar verksamheten i team.

A multi professional team use different professional skills to a specific target. The people in the team complement each other to achieve the best performance possible. Professional identity is a mix between the professional and personal identity. Social identities, like professional identity, is a product of social categorization and social comparison. The purpose of this study was to examine how increased cooperation in cross-disciplinary teams has affected the professional identity of home care staff.

As a result of globalization, multinational teams are being more frequently used in today´s businesses. This specific type of team can be described as heterogeneous when it comes to nationality and linguistics. The aim of this study was to explore the concept of multinational teams. This was made using culture as a main concept, and nationality, linguistics, and organizational culture in order to describe it. We intended to say something about how this type of team´s efficiency; when it comes to satisfaction and performance; was affected by national and linguistic heterogeneity within the team.

This project investigates how team sports can be used to include young women in public space aswell as how through the addition of a sporting facility adjacent to three schools can be used as a stepping stone for the young people of Dharavi to have a chance at a brighter future..
