There are lots of theories about participatory democracy, but rather few examples of how to create it in practice. In the 1930´s, scientists at the Chicago School, implemented some projects within the Chicago Area Project, with the aim to decrease the youth delinquency in the socio disadvantaged areas surrounding Chicago. In this thesis, I assess wether these projects, and in particular the one at the Russell Square Area, have some common features with the thoughts of two of the most famous participatory democrats, Carole Pateman and Benjamin Barber. My question is if the Chicago Area Project could be seen as an experiment in participatory democracy. I find that participatory democrats could benefit from the experiences of the Chicago Area Project.

The purpose of this this thesis is to evaluate the books that the Library Project "Give me five" uses accoring to their own project objective. Starting in the discussion of censorship that took place in Swedish media, the goal of the project is to defend picture books that portray child's inner and outer worlds. Some of the books are selected by librarians and some preschool teachers themselves have chosen. I have a in a thematic analysis examined if the books' themes meet the requirements of the project goals and if there is any difference on the books that preschool teachers chosen and the ones that the librarians have selected. I have in a image analysis investigated whether they have used books that challenge children's imagery, and if the books portray children's outer world.

Att arbeta tillsammans inom vården benämns som att arbeta inom team. Teamet består vanligen av läkare, sjuksköterskor, sjukgymnaster och arbetsterapeuter. Arbetsterapeutens främsta ansvar är att öka delaktigheten hos patienten under rehabiliteringen. För att uppnå bästa resultat under rehabiliteringen krävs interventioner där gott samarbete mellan yrkesgrupperna är en förutsättning. AbstractForskning visar att verksamheter ställs inför omfattande arbetsrelaterade problem därverksamheter förlitar sig på team för en effektiv problemlösning. Grunden för effektivitet iteamen föds då teammedlemmarna delar samma vision om det arbete som måste utföras.Studiens syfte är att få en ökad förståelse för skapandet av delade mentala modeller, genomatt undersöka teammedlemmarnas enskilda upplevelse av delade mentala modeller samtcentrala processer som gemensam meningsstruktur och kommunikation i teamets arbete medatt uppnå effektivitet. I föreliggande fenomenologiska uppsats har ett team om treteammedlemmar observerats och sedan intervjuats om deras individuella upplevelse avskapandet av delade mentala modeller. In 2014-2015 a large-scale Ebola epidemic occurred in West Africa. The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency was given the order to conduct the Swedish response. The purpose of this case study was to investigate the impact on project planning of the three factors: the nature of the crisis, political initiative and developing countries. In this case study the crisis was an epidemic, and the project was initiated by the Swedish Government and conducted in two developing countries. The results were intended to contribute to developed understanding and recommendations for future project managers in similar projects.

Denna studie syftar till att integrera lämpliga funktioner och koncept typiska för sociala nätverkssidor i ett kommunikationsverktyg med avsikt att förenkla och stödja kommunikation mellan kollegor i team och projekt.  Designprocessen bestod av tre faser. I fas ett avgjordes genom en Pugh-matris vilka funktioner och koncept som hade störst potential för integration. I fas två integrerades dessa i en digital prototyp av det redan existerande kommunikationsverktyget Briteback. I fas tre identifierades användbarhetsproblem hos den framtagna prototypen.

According to recent research the basics for a good body posture is balance between the muscles, if unbalance originates this can be strengthen by gymnastics when most of the practise performs only in one direction. Because of limited research in the area was an explorative study conducted. The purpose of the study was to inquire if exercise adjusted to the individual contributes for balanced muscles and if it contributes for a positive or negative development for the team.On the basics of that the team is not equable an other team in the area has the results for two different periods been measured, during the first period the exercise continued as usual but during the second period each gymnast (n=9) received an individual strength- and stretch program that was performed during the teampractise twice a week. The gymnasts were tested in areas that are imported for them as body posture, balance between the muscles, vigour, range of movement, balance, the running and coordination. The results showed on that the difference is largest between test two and three, except the coordination and balance which did not show any particular change.

This is an essay about health promotion and organisation development. The problem concerning all health issues that can be tied to work related illnesses has long been a problem in Sweden. For example did this problem alone cost the Swedish government 25 million crones a day between the years 2000-2001. This is a major issue and there is lots of money to save in this area. This is why we wanted to research how to promote health by changing the structure of the selected company.

The aim of the study was to examine individuals' experiences of participating in 5 week mindfulness program as a tool for job seekers. Qualitative methods were used to inter­view three students and two mindfulness educators. The informants were asked to an­swer questions about their experiences of having participated or practiced mindfulness in the project. The results showed that all respondents experienced the project as positive. The partici­pants describe that the project helped them to get out and meet other people and with routines in their life. The par­ticipants also said that unemployment caused alienation and they felt themselves to have poorer health when they were unemployed.

This project is about color and light and how it affects the atmosphere in the city. I choseto look closer into the central parts of the city, a place where I often feel a lack of lightand color, especially during the winter season. In the beginning of the project I made ananalysis of how intense colors are used in the city and how we can use color as a tool tocreate effectful spaces.
