Syfte - Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att via befintlig litteratur undersöka vilka modeller som finns för att välja systemutvecklingsmetod. Vidare syftade uppsatsen till att testa modellerna på några av de vanligast förekommande utvecklingsmetoderna. Detta skedde med hjälp av ett förenklat exempelprojekt.Metod ? Metoden till den här uppsatsen var en litteraturstudie. En litteraturstudie sammanställer tidigare forskning kring ett ämne för att skapa nya perspektiv.

The degree project is performed at Metso Kamfab. The production is aimed on machines everything from handling of fiber to paper pulp. Metso Fiber and Kamfab are using Pro/Engineer for design and blueprint production. The processing department types the NC-programs in notepad on the basis of the blueprints, the CAD-dates that already is there are not used. The aim with the work is to study if Kamfab can use CAM-system for processing and production of programs for their NC-machines.

The objective of this thesis was to develop a method for the planning of road upgrading at Holmen Skog, a Swedish forest company. A critical issue for creating such plans is to identify roads that are suitable to upgrade to a standard that can handle heavy traffic during spring thaw, since spring thaw is a bottle neck for transporting timber. The method was tested in a case study at a district. The work consisted of two parts. The first was to retrieve and prepare geographical data for the roads.

Sönderdelning och transport av GROT (grenar och toppar) kräver dyra maskinsystem samtidigt som efterfrågan av sortimenteten varierar kraftigt under året. Det är därför svårt att planera flöden av GROT-flis effektivt och samtidigt välja rätt maskinsystem. AB Karl Hedin är en sågverkskoncern lokaliserad i Bergslagen. De äger fyra sågverk varav tre är sverigebaserade. De levererar även GROT-flis till flertalet värmeverk och har ett behov av ett beslutsstöd som underlättar sortimentets flödesplanering och föreslår maskinsystem. The farm management system controlled traffic farming (CTF) aims to reduce soil compaction by restricting the field traffic from agricultural machinery to permanent traffic lanes. Literature and empirical findings show that soil compaction and field traffic from heavy machinery may affect crop growth negatively, reducing crop yields. If grass-clover leys are subject to heavy field traffic the botanic composition might be altered, providing a lower clover content in the forage. This task is accomplished by using a data material of 250 000 Swedish companies divided into two subsamples. The first sample is used to develop the model and the second as a validation sample. The model developing sample holds 160 000 companies divided into five different subgroups based on size and age.

Antalet kretskort som monteras i multikortssystem, till exempel telekommunikationssystem, ökar ständigt. Samtidigt som ytmonteringstekniken och packningstekniken blir allt bättre utvecklas även tillverkningsmetoderna för olika integrerade komponenter, vilket medför att varje kretskort rymmer allt fler integrerade komponenter. Detta gör att testning av integrerade komponenter och multikortsystem blir alltmer komplex. En förutsättning för att kunna genomföra effektiv testning är standarder. This paper aims to describe the variation and develop a method to control the production for the product Metropol Kaktus from the snuff developer Fiedler & Lundgren. We are going to use the requirements from the product specifications as limits of the expected quality when we present methods to control the process. One method attempts to control during the process and the other attempts to maximize the number of products with strived quality before the process starts. Metropol Kaktus is a product produced with high quality, the mean weight is 20,023 gram and this is very close to the weight, 20 gram, which is reported in the product specifications. The variation in weight variable is less than what is reported in the specifications and the minimum weight is over the limit set by Livsmedelsverket.
