Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att beskriva och analysera hur controllerfunktionen är fördelad inom en organisation, samt att diskutera orsakerna till detta. En kvalitativ tolkningsmetod har använts där delvis ostrukturerade intervjuer har varit största datainsamlingsmetoden. Uppsatsen har en induktiv ansats. Tre teoretiska perspektiv presenteras i uppsatsen. Först en teoretisk genomgång om vad controllerfunktionen är, därefter en genomgång av Gummessons modell för ansvarsfördelning och sist Byrne & Pierce modell för controllerns roll.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to investigate how actors involved in a municipal's adult education view students access to information- and library resources. The adult education in the municipal is on contract which means that there are several different actors involved in the realization of the adult education. The raised questions in this study deals with; libraries role within adult education, students needs for becoming information literate and where responsibilities for students access to libraries lies. We used a qualitative method which includes interviews with two principles, a controller, three pedagogues and a librarian. The empirical data is analysed against taxonomies and categories which originates from the theories of David Loertscher and Christine Bruce.

Detta görs genom att mäta ett fysiologiskt attribut eller beteendeattribut hos användaren. Keystroke dynamics är en biometrisk metod vilken registrerar användarens sätt att skriva på tangentbordet. En stor mängd försök med keystroke dynamics har gjorts i tidigare arbeten.

This essay investigates whether there?s logic behind the sanction system regarding the penalty imprisonment in the swedish penal code. The focus is in general on crimes against the person and crimes against the state, but in particular on crimes of serious fiscal offence and crimes of serious assault. The idea with the essay was also to explain the wording purpose behind the punishment ranges in these selected crimes. The essays focus is on the public unawareness on how the punishment ranges is used.

In this master thesis, control algoritms using arm side sensors are investigated for an industrial robot. The sensors can be position encoders placed after the gearbox and accelerometers on the robot arms. Control strategies are discussed and evaluated for different models of the robot, after which chosen strategies are applied to a realistic model. Control algoritms using arm side sensors (LQ, dual-loop and PD-PID) are compared to a PID-controller that only uses measurements of motor position for feedback control. The comparison are done with respect to disturbance rejection, oscillation damping, robustness and tracking performance of a reference trajectory.

In this report a system for Rapid Control Prototyping, RCP, is evaluated through animplementation of the motor control methods Field Oriented Control, FOC, and Space VectorPulse Width Modulation, SVPWM. The evaluation emphasizes on time-consumption andresource utilization on the used hardware and on usability for of software.A new mechatronic laboratory is under development at ABB Corporate Research in Västerås. Itwill be used for both mechanical and motion control design using existing and new hardware.The control structure in a traditional robot system will be interfaced to a rapid prototypingsystem which should allow easy changes to algorithms at different levels in the system.The system designated for this project comes from National Instruments and constitutesLabVIEW Real-time and FPGA module as the software tools. The hardware is a NI Single-Board RIO (Reconfigurable Input Output), sbRIO, development board including a Field-Programmable Gate Array, FPGA, from Xilinx and a microprocessor from FreescaleSemiconductor. Graphical programming is performed in the LabVIEW environment, andthrough Xilinx tools the LabVIEW FPGA code is compiled to VHDL code.A pre-study was carried out to clarify the concept of RCP and investigate different systems forRCP and their traits.

The aim of the thesis is twofold: the first aim is to identify a number of reproductive logics that are used to construct Swedish regulation of embryo donation for reproductive use as either ethical or unethical in the governmental ? and medical discussions ? and to examine how these logics are interconnected with notions of gender and parenthood. The second aim is to identify a number of tensions that arise in the application of the governmental ethical logic on the embryo and embryo donation and discuss how these tensions can be solved with a feminist material approach. I argue that the terminology used to distinguish between genetic, biological, social and legal parenthood in my material is insufficient for understanding the value of the embryo outside its pre-human status. I therefore argue for an embryonic feminist bioethics that is attentive to the embryos post-human status, and for a reformulation of the parenthood terminology in line with what I call ?reproductive ties?..

In this Bachelor Thesis (20 p.), we present the history and development of "Intelligent Houses", and most important- explore some of the future possibilities in this area. The project has been carried out through an interdisciplinary cooperation between three different educations at the Blekinge Institute of Technology. By conducting a dialogue with various actors with different professions, we have been trying to identify needs within the concept of "Intelligent Houses", were the end user is not only the tenant or homeowner. Through Participatory Design methods, such as a Future Workshop, we have brought the users together to discuss their own and each others needs and hindrances in their respective work practice, and how intelligent house technology could improve their work conditions. We have also been testing a highly sophisticated CO/CO2/Moisture/Temperature/Enthalpy multi-sensor & controller, originally developed for regulating indoor climate systems. Based on the needs we have found in our fieldwork, we have been looking at possibilities to make multi user solutions with the sensor..

Test bench for air bearingsThis thesis work consisted of bringing forward and defining the test parameters relevant for a test bench and constructing a test bench that can test and verify the largest existing air bearings that are of use in Micronic Laser Systems AB machines. Because the knowledge about air bearings is limited it is thought that with the help of the test bench the knowledge would increase and in that way improve the air bearings.After learning more about air bearings and their purpose at Micronic Laser Systems AB, I started the concept phase for the test bench. For each part in the test bench I consulted my two tutors, Torbjörn Hedevärn and Johan Bergqvist, at Micronic Laser Systems AB. The final concepts where documented as 3D-modells in Solidworks and some of them have been tested in Solidworks FEM-program.The test bench is designed so that, with the help of a pneumatic cylinder, 25 kilo weights are placed on the air bearing to test its stiffness, damping and the pressure performance under its surface area. To test these parameters the test bench has to have a pressure meter, accelerometer and a microcator.

The study proceeds from a phenomenom called co-creation. If value can be created, it is logic to asume that it also can be destroyed. This phenomenom has earlier not been applied to long-term relationships such as business to business. In a business relationship it is important to identify factors, that leads to co-destruction, to be able to prevent them from appering. The purpose of this study is to identify which factors leads towards co-destruction.The study have used theories from Echeverri & Skålén (2011) which has designed a model explaning the outcome of co-creation and co-destruction.

Föreliggande uppsats behandlar oberoende skivbolags förändrade roll till följd avdigitaliseringen av musiken som bidragit till artisters möjlighet att sälja och distribuera musikutan skivbolag. Syftet med studien är att förklara hur oberoende skivbolag erbjudervärdeförslag och vad som inkluderas i dessa värdeförslag när det oberoende skivbolaget villattrahera nya samt behålla sina befintliga artister. För att besvara syftet har fyra oberoendeskivbolag intervjuats och intervjuerna har sammanställts och analyserats utifrån Servicedominantlogic. Resultatet visar indikationer på att oberoende skivbolag allt mer väljer attinkludera artister i den värdeskapande processen när värdeförslag utformas. Oberoendeskivbolag vill arbeta nära sina artister och tillåter artisterna att välja vilka värdeförslag de villta del av.

This study focuses on the transfer between a product-oriented to a service-oriented perspective regarding marketing activities in companies due to the development of information technology. It illustrates how this very transfer has been, and can be, contemplated through the eyes of organizations working with marketing in a digital world on a daily basis. Technology has turned several industries - their price-setting, communication channels and supplying possiblities - upside-down. This turnpoint brings out a new way of observing and working with marketing. Therefore, we find it interesting to gain a better understanding of how actors within industries where the turnpoint is a fact observes marketing, and how this service perspective can be seen in their various organizations and daily.

This thesis was developed as an assignment from Ludosity Interactive where the goal was to develop a copy of the Xbox Live Indie Games-marketplace from the Xbox 360. Ludosity Interactive had a necessity to easily test a game's attractiveness to potential customers using testing people from outside the company in a simulated Xbox Live Indie Games test environment; excluding this developed system there is no other way to do such an analysis without actually releasing the game on the Xbox Live Indie Games marketplace and then analyze the resulting sales from the product.The finished system had to be similar to the original system to the degree that a user could see past the interface itself and use the system just as he/she would have used the real marketplace. It also had to be easy to change and add games to the system so that Ludosity Interactive easily could show the games and the data that they deemed interesting for their tests. Anledningentill detta är att marknaden för personaluthyrning öppnades upp och det blev tillåtet för privataföretag att bedriva personaluthyrning med vinstdrivande intresse. Förutom personaluthyrninggenomför också bemanningsföretagen rekryteringar åt andra företag. Det har skett enövergång från ett produktsamhälle till ett tjänsteinriktat samhälle där tjänstemarknadsföringenhar fått en allt större roll. Eftersom det under de senaste åren blivit allt hårdare konkurrens ibemanningsbranschen är det viktigt att veta varför kunderna väljer att anlita ettbemanningsföretag.Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilket värde som uppstår och uppfattas av kunden(företagen) när de anlitar en bemanningsfirma samt om detta värde kan variera mellanföretagen.

Scania är en ledande tillverkare av tunga lastbilar, bussar och industri- och marinmotorer. Inom organisationen finns ett ökande behov av att automatisera och underlätta analysfasen vid klimatsystemprovning. Idag utnyttjas en mängd mjukvaror för att analysera diverse data, men ingen är optimalt anpassad för arbetsuppgifterna inom analys av klimatdata. Uppdraget går därför ut på att utveckla en mjukvara som ska effektivisera arbetet i analysfasen.Det har använts en mängd metoder under arbetes gång. Det har bland annat använts intervjuer vid insamling av kravspecifikationen.
