Huvudsyftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka effekterna av aggressionsersättningsträning (ART) program på tre kriminalvårdsanstalter och två frivårdskontor. Huvudfrågeställningen som belyses i studien är: förändras deltagarna i ART-program med avseende på empati och attityder till kriminalitet? För att besvara dessa frågor har vi utfört för- och eftertester på tre kriminalvårdsanstalter och två frivårdskontor. Instrumenten som användes i testerna är Davis Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) och Mill's Measures of Criminal Attitudes and Associates (MCAA).Slutsatserna som kan dras utifrån denna studie är att den emotionella empati-komponenten "personal distress" visar en minskning som kan förklaras av interaktionen med ART.The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of Aggression Replacement Training (ART) program in some of the prisons and probation authorities of the Swedish correctional system. The specific questions we are trying to answer are: (1) does ART-program change the clients' empathic concern and (2) does ART-program help in changing participants' attitudes towards criminality? Sociala nätverkssidor är för människor idag en del av vardagen då vi skapar nya umgängen, bekantskaper, vänskaper och fiender. Vi träffar framtida arbetsgivare och finner i visa fall kärleken med hjälp av detta nu vardagliga verktyg. Eftersom vi gör allt detta är uppbyggnaden och utvecklingen av användarens profil ett viktigt hjälpmedel för att lyckas presentera sig själv på ett positivt sätt.Målet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur svenska kvinnor framställer sig själva inför andra användare och vad de delar med sig av sin identitet på det sociala nätverket Twitter. Vi utgår från tre frågeställningar:? ? ?På vilka sätt framställer sig svenska kvinnor på Twitter? Vilka skillnader finns mellan användare beroende på antal följare? Vilken gräns sätter kvinnor för vad de delar med sig till sin publik på Twitter?De teoretiska utgångspunkterna för denna studie är i Erving Goffmans teorier om ?front stage?, ?back stage? och ?impression management? och nyare forskning gjord av bland andra danah boyd samt begreppet representation.

Många städer vill utveckla vattenkontakt, tillgängliggöra och öka den urbana vattenkvaliteten. Gatukontorets programenhet i Malmö stad beslutade 2012 att ett program för stadens kanal skulle tas fram. Jag blev involverad i detta arbete och beslutade mig för att även skriva mitt examensarbete om detta ämne. Målet med uppsatsen är tredelat; att ta fram ett program för Malmös kanal, att beskriva och reflektera över programmet, samt att föra en bredare diskussion kring urbant vatten. De metoder jag använt mig av för att färdigställa arbetet har varit inventering, analys, intervjuer, arkiv- och kartstudier, litteraturstudier, workshop samt en form av introspektiv efterreflektion. Resultatet har blivit ett program för utveckling av Malmös kanalrum, samt en beskrivning och reflektion av programskrivandet, dess kontext och arbetsprocess samt en reflektion kring urbant vatten. Frågan om stadens relation till vattnet är ytterst aktuell, dels för att vattnets och och de angränsande stadsrummens värde som rekreationsområden och sociala arenor ökat markant, men även för de utmaningar vi står inför med klimatförändringar och en höjd havsnivå. This thesis is performed in collaboration with Kraftpowercon AB in Surte, Sweden. Focus has been on to identify the powerlosses in one of Kraftpowercons halfbridge DC-DC converters. First theoretical calculations are made, the calculations is verified with measurements of six different operation modes. In a later stage, methods like soft switching and synchronous rectifying are proposed to increase the efficiency for the converter. To achieve softswitching for the halfbridge, the LLC resonant converter topologies are implemented and examined.

This thesis project has been written and accomplished in cooperation with HABO AB. The objective of the project was to develop a standard stated packaging system. The background to this is that HABO is not pleased with the system currently in use. The system which HABO is currently using consists of to many sizes. The largest benefit of a standard stated system is that it becomes much easier to organize the packaging with the aid of a computer program.

The construction process which is used today while constructing residential buildings has for along time remained unchanged. Unfortunately the development process has gone away frombecoming industrialized and instead most of the work is done at the construction site. In thisrespect this is a worse alternative because the project outcome will be more expensive and theconstruction time will be longer. Skanska?s vision is to have a process which is more like the oneused in small residential buildings which is fully industrialized.The constructing process for residential building involves more parties and therefore it becomesmore complicated.

This thesis work involves a quantitative study concerning secondary school students' understanding of older Swedish words in the lyrics in the Lucia song written by Elmfors way back in 1919th. The text has some old words and phrases that today's high school students do not really understand. The study includes surveys of two different classes in high school, a theoretical and a practical program. In some cases students can understand words by the context, but previous research shows results in general weakness in students' existing vocabulary. According to previous research, this is due, inter alia, that young people read and write less today.The results of all students are totally 38%, where the theoretical program has a slightly higher performance.

Thesis completed by Johan Arvidsson, Alex Rasooli and Pontus Winroth, students at master program Product development and Design at the School of Engineering in Jönköping Sweden. The project comprises 30 ECTS credits and was carried out during the semester in the autumn of 2007.It was carried out in cooperation with Eksjöverken AB, subcontractor within the truck industry with special knowledge within the area of complicated machinery construction work. Job initiators at Eksjöverken were Mats Svanberg and Kjell Nygard. Dag Holmgren was acting as a tutor from the university. The task was to develop tools for trucks, primary toolboxes but in case of time also under run protection.

Mastitis in dairy cows is an emerging and challenging disease in the tropics, including India. Nation-wide reports suggest that the incidence of clinical mastitis varies from 3.94% to 23.25%, and for subclinical mastitis from 15.78% to 81.60%. In Assam, a northeastern province of India, dairy is an essential part of the mixed farming system that exists in the state, but the milk yield is far below domestic standards. In 2009-2010, International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) and local associates started to develop a training program for local farmers in Assam, in order to enhance the informal bovine dairy sector in and around Guwahati, India. The project continued until mid-2013.

SammanfattningDen här uppsatsen är skriven för att undersöka vad gymnasieelever anser om en eventuell bedömning av ordning och uppförande i den svenska skolan. Den huvudsakliga forskningsfrågan är: skiljer sig elevernas uppfattningar inom ämnet beroende på om de går ett yrkesförberedande program eller ett studieförberedande program? Genom en enkätundersökning som totalt 127 elever från 3 gymnasieskolor i Gävleborgs län fyllt i har jag fått fram min empiri. Det huvudsakliga resultatet av undersökningen visar att elever från yrkesförberedande program är mer för en bedömning av ordning och uppförande än elever från studieförberedande program.     De har den gemensamma åsikten att bedömningen skall ske som ett separat dokument.

This report presents a bachelor thesis by Erika Gustrén aimed to increase people?s interest for recycling and reusing by create new products of things that already exist in most people?s homes in the materials textile, plastic and paper. That would be a modern and innovative way to contribute to a better environment.The goal with this project was to create three cocktail dresses made of the same pattern and design and with the three chosen materials. The project did not have its base at a company, therefore an external mentor was chosen to help and support during the development of the project. My mentor was Kerstin Boulogner who is a fashion designer and one of the members of GKF (Gotländska Konsthantverkare och Formgivare) in Visby.The project began with an analysis of the chosen materials; textile, plastic and paper.

The problems caused by the current engine casing in aluminum for Volvo Buses Corp. are the mainfoundation for this degree project. The purpose of this degree project is to study a work evaluation project in a municipality, on the basis of key participants. The municipality is the employer, per-forming the workplace project and the chief objective is to reach gender equality between the employees. Equal pay for equal work. Through work evaluation is it pos-sible to find out which of a lot of different jobs, which have equal requirements. The jobs, which have equal requirements, should have equal pay.

The aim with this study was to investigate mortality in older respectively younger beech stands (Fagus sylvatica), the different types of dead wood in the forest and the availability of coarse woody debris (CWD). The research was carried out in previously managed and seminatural stands in Biskopstorp and Frodeparken, located north of Halinstad in Halland,Sweden. Data were collected from 22 stands with at least 50 % beech and with a minimum age of 5 1 years, ranging in size from 0,67 to 19,9 ha. A transect was placed in each stand, in which the diaineter on both dead and living trees with a minimum diameter of 50 mm was recorded. On seven to 13 dead trees, depending on the size of each stand, decomposition stage, primary and secondary cause of death, amount of fungi and the type of the dead wood was noted.
