PurposeThe purpose of this study is to investigate whether a combination of product placement and traditional advertising can enhance the company's marketing. We perform this study because we believe that the consumers consider traditional marketing in many cases obsolete.TheoryThe study?s theory consists of topics and terms of product placement, traditional marketing, branding and communications. Theories used in this study were the basis to answer the study's research question using empirical data gathered during the study.MethodThe study has a deductive approach with a qualitative focus, therefore, the study is based on existing research, which was later to use for the data extracted from the interviews. The approach is going to show differences and similarities between how it looks in reality versus theory.ConclusionThe results of this study show that product placement can increase the efficiency of traditional marketing.

The conflict in Aceh had been going on for 30 years time, but ended after a tsunami hit the area in 2004. The impact the natural catastrophe had on the conflict was that both GAM and the Indonesian government was brought together with the intent of reaching a peace agreement. The authors to this thesis paper ask the question of why it became peace after such long time of war, but also if rational choice theory can explain this event. The answer to the first question is that the tsunami was the main reason to why it became peace. As to the second question, the conclusion would be that, depending on which view of human nature one has, rational choice theory can only answer the question if cultural, religious and emotional factors are disregarded.

The Swedish Armed Forces tend to ask themselves if it is sufficiently multinational interoperablefor participation in international operations. An equally valid question today should be whether theSwedish Armed Forces are sufficiently nationally / internally interoperable, between their branchesof service, to be able to conduct independent operations based on the joint warfare theory.The lack of ability to joint warfare in the armed forces in general and the Swedish Armed Forcesspecially constitutes the essay´s fundamental problem. By using Codners and Sjöbloms custominteroperability theory, the Swedish Armed Forces documents were analyzed to highlight anyweaknesses related to joint warfare and national interoperability between Ground and Air Forces.The survey shows weaknesses linked to the custom theory and Swedish Armed Forces governingdocuments. The ability of a national interoperability is limited between Ground and Air Forcestoday, mostly because of weaknesses in the Swedish Armed Forces strategic concept which doesnot describe the importance of joint warfare at all levels sufficiently. This leads to deficienciesreflected in doctrines, regulations, technology, techniques and exercises.

I denna studie undersöks hur några före detta IVIK?elever har lyckats med sina gymnasiestudier på ett treårigt nationellt program. Jag har intervjuat fyra informanter, två flickor som läser sitt andra år och två pojkar som läser sitt tredje och sista år. Viktigt att påpeka är att de elever som intervjuats i denna studie är mycket ambitiösa och målmedvetna och att det endast genom dessa fyra fallstudier är omöjligt att dra några generella slutsatser. Genom intervjuer och analys av informanternas betyg kan konstateras att just dessa har lyckats väl med sina valda programstudier.

Syftet med denna studie är att försöka ta reda på vad ett dramapedagogiskt förhållningssätt är samt att sprida det till andra som arbetar med drama utan att vara utbildade. Dessutom vill författaren hitta tydliga exempel från barnlitteraturen för att konkretisera det abstrakta som ett förhållningssätt innebär.    Frågeställningarna är: Vad är ett dramapedagogiskt förhållningssätt? Hur kan man konkretisera det för att göra det mer gripbart och förståeligt?  Det är en kvalitativ undersökning gjord enligt grounded theory och med tankar från symbolisk interaktionism. Metoden är fokussamtal kombinerat med intervju via e-post. Informanter är dramapedagogutbildarna på Västerbergs folkhögskola samt verksamma dramapedagoger som har genomgått utbildningen.

 IAS 40 allows two methods of valuation for investment properties, fair value model and cost model. The purpose of this paper is to investigate what drive property companies to disclose their investment properties at fair value. In order to understand their choice, we use accounting choice theory and the three factors this theory describes, information asymmetry, allowing opportunism and agency costs. To answer our purpose, we have from a qualitative approach performed semi-structured interviews with respondents from five of the largest listed property companies in Sweden. The results suggest that firms have chosen the method that is most effective in the valuation of investment properties.

The aim of this study was to develop, implement and evaluate a mindfulness- and acceptance-based smoking cessation program in group (MRG). MRG was developed into an intervention consisting of 6 group sessions during 35 days including individual homework assignments. 8 of 10 participants completed the program. In order to evaluate the effect of MRG a quasi-experimental design with pretest and double posttest (second posttest at 1 month) was chosen. At second posttest, 50 percent (of 8 completers) were non-smokers, and the rest showed a decrease in smoking at a rate between 45 and 75 percent.

Purpose: We will understand and explain Dell?s value gap through an extended intellectual capital theory. This will be done by deriving the value to the different parts of the intellectual capital value scheme. We will also use value scheme to describe the ongoing strategy shift. Denna uppsats syftar till att göra en religionsvetenskaplig analys av filmen Thor från 2011.De grundläggande metoderna som använts i arbetet är en diskursanalysmetod som är influerad av Simon Lindgrens populärkulturella arbetsfält, och en komparativ studie av Joseph Campbells teoriom monomyten.Våra tolkningar och arbetet kommer fram till att Thor passar in i Campbells teori om monomyten.This essay aims to make a religious scientific based analysis of the movie Thor from 2011.The basic methods used in this work are a discourse analysis, influenced by Simon Lindgren?s popular culture field of expertise, and a comparative study of Joseph Campbell's theory of the monomyth.Our interpretations and this work concludes that Thor fits into Campbell's theory of the monomyth. The results imply that Campbell's theory proves to be applicable in modern times narration on film. Events and actors in the film fit with several elementary parts in a hero-myth according to Campbell..

Junttis Åkeri AB i Övertorneå är ett entrepenadföretag som bland annat har ett antal timmerlastbilar. Körsträckan för en lastbil som går i skiftkörning kan vara 1500 mil i månaden och med en dieselförbrukning på uppemot 5 liter per mil är bränslekostnaderna en stor utgiftspost som varje åkeri noga bör följa upp. Junttis ville därför ha hjälp med att ta fram och installera ett dataprogram för att följa upp sina fordons bränsleförbrukning i syfte att minska deras bränslekostnader. Denna rapport beskriver design och utförande från kravspecifikation till färdig lösning av en sådant program. Programmet skulle medge inmatning av data från körjournaler varefter olika rapporter i form av till exempel diagram skulle kunna tas fram och skrivas ut.

I detta projekt har mjukvara till en dator utvecklats, denna mjukvara är en prototyp för hur funktionaliteten i en framtida handhållen enhet för kommunikation mot LoggerReadOut-programmet bör se ut, samt eftersträvas vid vidareutveckling. Under projektets gång har dels utveckling av en Android applikation i programmeringsspråket Java och utvecklingsmiljön Eclipse genomförts. Programmeringen av applikationen för Android har kommit att revideras till utveckling av mjukvara i programmeringsspråket Python. Den mjukvara som utvecklas i Python utvecklas för att verka som en prototyp på funktionalitet bör se ut i en applikation för Android som detta projekt kan stå som bas för.Det program som skapats, smartDustHandheldUnit, hanterar kommunikationen med LoggerReadOut-programmet och mellan dessa två program kan auktoriserad anslutning etableras, data och information kan hämtas samt så kan anslutningen som skapats stängas ned. Utöver detta hanterar programmet upp- samt nedladdning till och från två .php-sidor anpassade för ändamålet.

This essay attempts to examine whether it is possible to find a mutual understanding of the concept of drive between Spinoza?s philosophy and Freud?s psychoanalytical theory. Former texts on this subject have given a variety of conclusions: from a radical separation between the two authors to a complete identification between the two. The drive, or the desire which is the term Spinoza uses, has in Spinoza?s philosophy its foundation in the concept of conatus.

During the spring semester of 2012 did Petra Hollsten independently a thesis on reducing the environmental impact of capsule for coffee, tea and chocolate.
