AbstractThe aim in this dissertation is to investigate into the working of the rehabilitation process as to actors involved. A specific focus has been set on the component ?Work introduction?. The study shows that the road back to work is a complex matter. Individuals involved have different backgrounds and living situations, which influence this rehabilitation.

In this project we have used the theory of analytical mechanics to derive equations of motion for complex mechanical systems in order to study their behaviour over time. Even if the theory provides powerful tools to tackle tough problems which would be very hard to solve by methods of Newtonian mechanics, you are still relatively limited without running any computer simulations. One realises that in a faster rate it will be an incredibly difficult task to find an analytical solution when the degrees of freedom increases. Even if one would succeed to derive the equations, one still has to solve them to get the information of the systems behavior. Of experience one knows that the equations in general are nonlinear and hence must be integrated numericaly.

Denna rapport är resultatet av ett examensarbete som utfördes under våren 2011.Centralt placerat i Uppsala ligger idag Österängens Idrottsplats som inrymmer en fotbollsplan samt möjlighet att utöva friidrott. Tanken med arbetet har varit att utreda behovet av en ny inomhusanläggning för idrott på denna plats samt hur denna skulle kunna gestaltas.Som en del av arbetet har det gjorts intervjuer med personer kunniga inom ämnet, granskning av området kring Österängen samt för arkitekturens skull gjordes en inspirationsresa till Köpenhamn.Arbetet är uppdelat i två huvuddelar, en utredningsdel och en gestaltningsdel. Utredningsdelen har resulterat i argument som stödjer idén om en inomhusanläggning på Österängens IP. I gestaltningsdelen har det arbetats fram ett program som legat till grund för de ritningar som redovisas i rapporten. Dessa är förslagsritningar i form av planer, sektioner och renderade bilder.Examensarbetet är gjort tillsammans med Werket Arkitekter i Uppsala där Anders Eriksson varit till stor hjälp..

En applikationsserver agerar i regel som en förmedlande server i ett tre-skikt-system med en webbserver på ena sidan och en databasserver på andra sidan. De används för att komma åt funktioner i en databas med hjälp av program skrivna för just den applikationsserver som används. På Lantmäteriets huvudkontor i Gävle använder man sig i dagsläget av 5 stycken olika applikationsservrar, vilket medför stora kostnader i bland annat licenser, support och kompetensutveckling. I detta arbete undersöks skillnader i pris och funktionalitet mellan de aktuella applikationsservrarna samt hur man på bästa sätt kan minska kostnaderna för Lantmäteriet genom att sätta upp ett mål där applikationsservrarna används på ett effektivare sätt. För att ta reda på detta har jag intervjuat personer inom Lantmäteriet angående det nuvarande problemet och tagit reda på hur man kan göra för att möjliggöra en utfasning av en eller flera applikationsservrar.

Syftet med det här arbetet har varit att undersöka vilken inställning lärare har till läxor på ett yrkesinriktat gymnasium och varför en del av dem har valt att ge läxor medan andra har valt bort dem i sin undervisning. Jag valde att använda mig av den kvalitativa forskningsmetoden och min undersökningsgrupp bestod av sex lärare som var verksamma i en stad i södra Sverige. Resultatet visade att lärarna hade olika syn på läxan. En del hade svårigheter med att kunna ge en tydlig definition. De lärare som var positivt inställda till läxor, menade bland annat att de ger förförståelse och ansvarstagande.

Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka vilka intentioner gymnasieungdomar som går teoretiska program i Luleå har för att börja arbeta direkt efter gymnasiet samt vilka faktorer som påverkar deras intentioner. De faktorer som undersöks är attityder, subjektiva normer och upplevd beteendekontroll som, enligt Icek Ajzen?s (1991) teori om planerat beteende (TPB), påverkar intentionen till beteendet. Undersökningen genomfördes med en enkät utformad efter Ajzen?s (2002) instruktioner, vilken besvarades av 50 elever vid Luleå Gymnasieby.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka några lärares erfarenheter gällande att göra elever på gymnasiesärskolan delaktiga i bedömningen av deras kunskapsutveckling. Metoden jag använde mig av var intervjuer. Jag utförde studien i en mellanstor svensk kommun bland sex lärare som arbetade på gymnasiesärskolans nationella program. För att utröna vilka former av delaktighet som förelåg, använde jag mig av Harts (1997) delaktighetsstege. Resultatet visade på att alla lärare ansåg elevers delaktighet som viktigt.

The purpose of the thesis is to examine why women face greater difficulties than men in the management consulting industry when advancing as well as to identify potential success factors that enable women to overcome the existing difficulties. In order to fulfil the purpose, a theoretical framework including gender and organisational theory has been applied to a qualitative case study of two Swedish management consulting firms. A number of difficulties have been identified related to women's career advancement, which are the following: the male leader and the stereotypical male leadership, firms having higher expectations on women's performance, women's reluctance to self-promotion and to play "the organizational game", women's preference of social networks, men's tendency to promote other men, and the choice and conflict between a career and family life. The identified success factors that enable women to overcome these difficulties are: adapting the male leadership style, having an extrovert behaviour, becoming more active in professional networks, promoting one self, actively seeking to gain more attention, and prioritising one's career. These success factors can be summarised as women adapting a more male-like behaviour.

Legacy-system sköter idag flera kritiska affärsprocesser hos många företag och banker. Dessa system är dyra att underhålla och uppdatera med nya funktioner. Legacy-systemenär också svåra att anpassa till en tjänsteorienterad arkitektur eller SOA (Service OrientedArchitechture). Därför vill företagen börja fasa ut dessa system. SOA är ett tankesätt i hur man strukturerar ett system.

Folkhälsovetenskapligt program.

According to the basic values of the Swedish Trotting Association the horse and its welfare should always be held in highest consideration. One part of the animal welfare work in the organization is to ensure good horse management practices by controlling all active trainers through the local licensing committees situated at the Swedish racetracks. The Swedish Board of Agriculture stated that high quality animal welfare assurance programs used by the industry organizations can be used in the risk assessment of the official animal welfare control to make the official control work more effective and the ambition of the Swedish Trotting Association is to establish an animal welfare assurance program which may be approved by the Swedish Board of Agriculture. Racehorses are exposed to welfare hazards both in their management as well as during training and racing and factors like handling, training, feedstuff, stable environment, medication and the possibility to express natural behavior all affect the welfare of the horses. The aim of the project is to investigate and evaluate the animal welfare work performed by the licensing committees and to give advice on how to improve the industry?s animal welfare control.

ABSTRACTPurpose: The purpose of the study was threefold. Firstly, to investigate if a four week program in pain rehabilitation had any effect on how much individuals with persistent pain worked and their degree of kinesiophobia. Secondly, to study if there was a correlation between how much these individuals worked and their degree of kinesiophobia. Thirdly, to study if there was a correlation between the change in these variables.Method: 112 patients who had participated in a four week rehabilitation program took part in the study. The study had a retrospective design, which was based on a review on medical records and consisted of three minor parts.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore pupils' motivation for participating in Physical Education. The thesis also investigates the definitions of sport and health and to what extent pupils make any connection between the school subject physical education and their own physical and health status. A semi-structured interview was carried out with thirteen upper secondary school pupils with special needs on the Individual Programme. The interviews were recorded digitally and then analyzed. The results show that there is no unified definition of the school subject among the pupils.

In November 2007 the countries around the Baltic Sea signed the Baltic Sea Action Plan (BSAP). The action plan was an initiative from HELCOM due to the environmental status in the Baltic Sea. The action plan implemented a new approach with measures targeting the whole ecosystem. Eutrophication, hazardous substances, biodiversity and maritime activities constituted the main segments. The parties were to establish national implementation plans to fulfil the BSAP goals, which shall lead to good environmental status in the Baltic Sea by 2021.  The aim of this thesis is to investigate the points in common regarding conceptions of eutrophication in the Baltic Sea between the management, the science, the media and the public.

Aim and questions: The purpose of this paper is to clarify the responsibilities employers have for rehabilitation and to explore how it conforms to an employers' actual condi-tions. Furthermore, the intention is to increase knowledge of how employers interact with other partners in the rehabilitation process and what affects sick people to return to work. The following three questions form the basis of this paper: What are employers? responsibilities for rehabilitation under the law and how is it consistent with an employer's actual conditions? What is the role of employers in the rehabilitation co- operation with other actors? What factors influence sick people to return to work?Method: The paper has used a true scientific and a legal sociological method to examine how the regulated employer responsibility for rehabilitation relates to what is practical in re-ality. To achieve the purpose, four empirical interviews were conducted with Örebro Municipality, Insurance, occupational health Previa and a doctor, which all of them have an important role in the rehabilitation process.
