In this thesis the core of the nursing professional skill will be portrayed through the opportunities of the essay writing. Thus the tacit knowledge, which is at the verge of erosion in a zeitgeist where medical care shall be cost-efficient and where development is mainly based on scientific research, will be articulated. Scientific articulation of knowledge has gained increasing importance on the expense of the practical knowledge. Healthcare professional skill requires a refind ability of judgment, which absorbs its nourishment from both scientific knowledge and the proven Proficiency expertise.Professional skill expresses itselfs through action, especially through the acting in unexpected incident. Experience is developed into knowledge through reflection.
Likvärdig utbildning för alla barn? En studie om boendesegregation och diskriminering i Sveriges grundskolesystem
The major focus in this study is structural inequalities in primary school in Sweden. UNESCO points out that in many developing countries, up to 40% of the children perform at or below the lowest Proficiency level in language and mathematics. Sweden has been criticized by the UN about the large differences in educational achievements between different regions. Based on an official study Sweden considers that those differences are related to ethnically segregate residential areas. My research question is whether the Swedish government takes adequate consideration of the impact that socioeconomically aspects have on educational achievement.
I don?t understand?! : En studie om hur myndighetsinformation tillgängliggörs för nyanlända svenskar
This is a thesis on information design with a focus on text design. The purpose of this study is to gather knowledge about how information on the Easy-to-Read website, of the police, should be composed so that immigrants more easily will be able to read and understand the content. The goal of the study is to present a design proposal based on the knowledge that has been found through principles for readability, theoretical perspectives and literature, together with methods; readability analysis and interviews. The interviews were performed individually with the coordinator at polisen.se as well as four students from SFI (Swedish for immigrants). The study showed that the content on the website of the police is not adequately adapted to the needs of the target group. It also exhibited that the website's disposition is unclear, and that complicated terms are not explained.

I answer this question by exploring how social worker Proficiency can be developed and grow with the help and support of supervisors, clients and colleagues. Development through professional supervision and in the encounter with clients is an essential part of the work. I also discuss what it means to be new in the field (a novice) in relation to being experienced (a master).
"Got Skills...?" : En kvalitativ studie om kompetensutveckling baserat pa? StarCraft II
The use of computer games has grown exponentially in the past few years and StarCraft II is one of the most popular e-sports today, played by millions of people worldwide. This study investigates the game?s effect on skills, as perceived by the players of StarCraft II.The study was conducted by using an empirical survey and interviews. The skills being investigated were both physical and mental in their nature. The conclusion was that the majority of players perceived that their skills regarding reaction speed, multitasking, APM, analysis and strategy were increased the most, while there was a smaller change in social skills and language skills.
Att stärka kunskapsspråket i NO hos flerspråkiga elever (To scaffold the academic language proficiency in science in the multilingual classroom)
I den här uppsatsen undersöker vi sex pedagogers tankar och erfarenheter kring undervisning
av flerspråkiga elever i årskurserna ett till sex. Vi fokuserar främst kring hur de arbetar för att
stärka elevernas språk i NO-undervisningen. Pedagogerna arbetar i två större kommuner i
södra Sverige med en varierande andel flerspråkiga elever i sina klasser.
I vår bakgrund skriver vi att det finns stora skillnader mellan meritvärdet hos elever med
svensk bakgrund och hos elever med utländsk bakgrund. Allra svårast är det för de elever som
kom till Sverige efter skolåldern, men även föräldrarnas utbildningsnivå spelar stor roll för elevernas skolresultat.

The purpose of our research was to explore the social situation of unaccompanied children. We also aimed to reveal the relation between their social situation and their identity development. The overall purpose were to describe their social situation, the value of significant others, how different languages influence their identity development and finally how their origin affects their future dreams.In order to achieve the best result in our research a qualitative method was used. This was based on qualitative interviews and was disposed around a very loose set of questions in order to let the interviewees lead the way. The analysis of the result was conducted on the basis of a set of theories and concepts in order to understand the identity development.
Lärande möten : En fallstudie om hur alla involverade parter:elever, vårdnadshavare och pedagoger uppfattar
The purpose of this case study is to see how all the involved parties; students, custodians and teachers look upon ?A meeting of learning ? personal development dialogue that is led by children and young people?, on a school south of Stockholm. Our questions at issue were to see what the students had learned from their personal development dialogue, if the custodians had received all the information they expected to get from a personal development dialogue, and last but not least if all the involved parties; students, custodians and teachers, wanted to continue with this model? We used interviews and paper questionnaires to collect answers to our case study and the questions at issue. In both the interviews and paper questionnaires we could see that an overwhelming majority had a positive opinion about students leading and ?owning? their personal development dialogue, especially the students themselves.

Swedish students' knowledge of mathematics has deteriorated in recent years. Teaching of mathematics is therefore starting point in an ongoing discussion among researchers, school leaders, politicians, teachers and others, who all thinks they know best about how teaching should be designed to the greatest extent possible to raise students' Proficiency levels in the subject. Teachers' practices have long been the focus of discussions and views on these differ. The purpose of this paper is therefore to study students 'conceptions of mathematics and mathematics teaching, with teachers' methods and tools of focus, in relation to previous research on the subject. The method used was a survey of students in secondary school and a textual analysis of previous studies on the subject.As revealed by the survey was that the textbook has a big advantage in mathematics education in Sweden today.Many students are not accustomed to working in a different way and thereforedoes not know either what the alternative approach entails.

The purpose of this thesis is to discuss how a Swedish public library approaches their costumers. I will show how a library interacts with their costumers compared to a business, which has a different economic work frame, a building materials supplier. My aim is to pinpoint differences and explore new methods for the library in order to improve their service.The theoretical frame of the thesis is based on Richard Norman's notion the Moment of truth. The moment of truth is the moment when a business has to convince their customer that they offer both the product, Proficiency and service that the customer needs. Service encounters at two organizations have been observed and their differences and similarities compared.
Matrisens inverkan i feedbackprocessen - En kvalitativ undersökning av bedömningsmatriser i lärandeprocessen // The influence of matrixes on the feedback process - A qualitative study of evaluation matrixes in the learning process
Our paper is based on matrixes and the feedback process as tools in the daily work in the higher education system. The main purpose with this paper is to investigate if these tools can enhance the effect of formative assessment and increase students? empowerment in the courses. In do-ing so, we investigate if students experience that their efforts result in increased progression in their courses and if they acquire adequate Proficiency in the subject matters native to their pro-grams, along with an increased desire for lifelong learning.

Att ha en blick och en fallenhet för det. : En studie av yrkeskunnande inom lastbilsföraryrket.
Syftet med denna studie var att få en insikt i och kunskaper om vad som gömmer sig bakom uttalanden som att man måste ha en blick och en fallenhet för det. I studien har två manliga lastbilsförare med lång erfarenhet av lastbilsföraryrket intervjuats om deras sätt att se på vilka kunskaper som behövs för att ses som en kompetent och yrkesskicklig lastbilsförare. Kunskaperna som lastbilsförarna lyfter fram är att ha en blick och en fallenhet för yrket.Studien visade att lastbilsförarna hade svårt att sätta ord på vad de menar med att ha en blick och en fallenhet för yrket. Resultatet i studien visade att det som lastbilsförarna pratar om när det gäller att ha en blick och en fallenhet för yrket bottnar i Aristoteles kunskapsbegrepp techne som ses som färdighetskunskap och fronesis som ses som förtrogenhetskunskap.Inom färdighetskunskapen ryms att ha en fallenhet för något, du har förmågan att utföra en handling. Denna förmåga utvecklas genom övning och erfarenhet, och det går inte att förutsäga hur långt en enskild förmåga kan utvecklas.

This study investigates how Arabic-speaking students in Sweden use syntax and prepositions
in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA), and how their writing is influenced by Swedish grammar
and Arabic dialects. The focus is on identifying systematic patterns of cross-linguistic influence
and variation between different groups of learners.
The data consists of written translations by 30 students in grades 7?9 who receive mother
tongue instruction in Arabic. All students translated the same Swedish source text into MSA,
and the translations were analysed with attention to syntactic structures and the use of
prepositions.
The theoretical framework draws on transfer theory, interlanguage theory, and the
interdependence hypothesis, complemented by perspectives on multilingualism and diglossia.
These frameworks make it possible to capture both external influences from Swedish and
Arabic dialects, as well as internal processes of second language development.
Navigering i Habermas världsdimensioner : en fallstudie i bedömnings- och betygsförfarande inom praktisk idrottsundervisning
Aim: The purpose of the study was to investigate how the assessment and grading is designed and practiced in the practical courses of physical education at GIH - the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences, along with how it could affect newly graduated physical education teachers? ability to assess and grade students. The study was based on Habermas?s system and life-world theory.What view occurs concerning proficiencies, basis for assessment and marking among teachers who are responsible for examinations within physical education at GIH?How is the examination structured within physical education at GIH?How are skills and proficiencies among assessment and marking further mediated to students in the teacher education at GIH?Method: The case study was realized by performing qualitative interviews with a total of four teachers at physical education at GIH. Additionally, syllabi were text-analyzed to improve the validity of the study.Results: From the results we found that the teachers experience marking as a complicated assignment, where particularly the didactic ability but also the practical ability form a formative and summative assessment.
