Venous leg ulcers are a chronic disease mostly among elderly individuals. The leg ulcers are often painful and interfere with the individual?s daily life. The aim of this literature review was to describe individuals? experiences of living with venous leg ulcers.

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate how working librariansmanage controversial media. It builds on three debates in the media about libraries and booksthat have taken place during the years of 2012 and 2013. The questiones asked were: How dolibrarians manage racist media? How do librarians manage media that instructs on how tocommit crimes? How do librarians manage sexually explicit media? And lastly, how dolibrarians manage pressure from outside of the library? The theoretical framework consists ofRobert Hauptmans division of the two kinds of ethical strands of librarianship, in this thesiscalled ?Free information? and ?Information responsibly?. The method used to collectempirical material was qualitative interviews.

How can I make art that face people in their everyday lives, which is integrated into their lives, becoming a part of the discussions both in the mundane and in the room of society? Can I do this by working with performative interpretations that are participatory driven? I have explored how artists and participants can create spaces that are both open and confiden- ce-building, and how they at the same time enable us to question established norms. How to engage in dialogues concerning social, political and existential issues like; What is freedom for me - What is freedom to you? What is it that is important? Which topics are never upraised for discussion?The project is about putting thoughts, experiences and bodies (my own, the participants and the viewer?s) in relation to each other and to the location and context they are in. It ?s about creating a broader perspective where everyone?s voice is important and can take place.

To complete an overweight treatment program is associated with better weight loss. Previous studies have in principle focused on drop-out from the entire program, not individual parts of a program. Factors previously shown to influence the patients´ weight loss results are: frequency of individual meetings with a professional, the lack of social support from family or friends, the lack of motivation and in a few studies vacations. In several studies the drop-out patients have stated that their reasons for drop-out were dissatisfaction with the staff and the program design. Drop-out has also been shown to be connected with difficulties in adherence to the diet.

This essay describes some factors that may effect small business survival in relation to becoming a supplier for bigger companies that may implement the use of EDI for electronic invoicing.The purpose of this study is to analyse and evaluate what impact may occur during the introduction of EDI between small and big business.Following on from the introduction of methods used in this study there will be a complete analysis made detailing results.From our research we have found that most small business have developed a professional working relationship between themselves and their clients.The adoption of EDI by big business has revolutionised the day to day dealings between both supplier and consumer in that EDI has empowered both chains to collaborate data in real time.In conclusion our research illustrates that in order for small business to survive the must implement EDI. In this paper Mona Hatoums installation Corps étranger is discussed via a post structuralized method based on associative and semiotic comparisons with vanitas, a post-modern self-portrait, and as a representative for modern visual art. I samband med att SSAB Tunnplåt AB Luleå utvecklar ett nytt PC-baserat MPS- system som heter PROST 4 ska kompletterande programvaror testas och utvärderas. Simul8 Professional - Planner är en av dessa programvaror och det är främst dess förmåga att tillföra operativ styrning i produktionen samt möjligheter att kommunicera med PROST 4 som ska utvärderas. Ett pilotfall vid skänkhanteringen har därför genomförts för att testa programvaran Simul8 Professional - Planners förmåga att nyttjas till detta ändamål. Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att kartlägga flöden och underhållsutföranden för stålskänkarna inom skänkhanteringen samt ta fram parametrar för målstyrning av arbetet inom denna del av stålverket. Vidare skulle en simuleringsmodell utvecklas och dess förmåga att tillföra operativ styrning utvärderas.

Idag kopplas ofta etik inom användarmedverkan till behovet av användare i utvecklingsstadiet av IT-produkter. Det är svårt att hitta etiska riktlinjer för bemötande av användare genom en projektprocess. I denna studie hanterades detta genom att identifiera etiska temaområden relaterade till bemötande och samarbete med användare genom en litteraturstudie. Studien syftar till att undersöka hur praktiker hanterar utmaningar som de upplever vid användarinvolvering i ett IT-projekts olika stadier. Den syftar även till att ge praktiker stöd vid upptäckt och hantering av etiska utmaningar.

Background: More focus has been placed towards autonomy when it comes to care and in special towards palliative care. The purpose with palliative care is to relieve and support at the end of the life. When the patient has difficulties to communicate to those around him due to his illness it is hard to preserve the patients right of self-determination. It is very important to consider the patient as autonomous during the course of the illness. Different alternatives have been developed to preserve the patient?s autonomy such as dedicate a deputy or plan the care of the patient in advance.Aim: The aim of this study was to describe, from an ethical point of view, how the patient?s autonomy could preserved at palliative care.Method: A general literature study where 11 scientific articles have been analysed from a qualitative checklist whereof the result has been discussed based on the principles of ethics.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediators' views on their work; mediation by reason of the breach. The starting point was to find out the mediator's approach and attitude in relation to the perpetrator and victim, and the prevailing regulatory framework. After review of the literature, we came to the realization that knowledge of this area was very limited and thus presents an unexplored topic. It emerged from the results that the mediators emphasize the importance of maintaining impartiality and neutrality in the process of mediation and that it is important to create a good relationship with both parties. The methods used by the mediators is not so different much about, but the mediators apply Crime Prevention Council handbook.

The ambition of this study is to analyze how four leaders of an international technique consulting company experience and handle community and technical development during their professional courses. The leaders have a various experience of leadership which adds depth and width to this study. Idag talas det därför mycket om emotionell marknadsföring. Detta arbete ligger till grund för att få en förståelse i hur emotioner styrs via reklam och hur en etisk ståndpunkt påverkar kunden.

Undersökningens syfte är att försöka få en ökad förståelse för svenska veterinärers arbetssituation och de problem som kan uppstå i triadrelationen, veterinär ? djur ? djurägare. Författarna har använt en kvalitativ metod och ett hermeneutiskt angreppssätt för att uppnå denna förståelse.

Skanska 21 is a student program for university students. The program runs for a year and a half parallel to university studies. It is aimed at those studying a few specific master engineering programs at Lund University, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Chalmers University of Technology or Luleå University of Technology. The program consists of a number of program meetings such as company presentations, a boarding school week, rhetoric training and project visits. The aim of the project is to evaluate the Skanska 21 student program.
