Forskare och praktiker har under de senaste decennierna påpekat hur införandet avmanagement, det vill säga en företagsinspirerad styrtrend inriktad på organisationsskapande,styrsystem samt chefskap, förändrar advokatyrket. Advokatyrket har länge präglats avautonomi medan införande av nya managementidéer ofta inneburit chefskap och styrning.Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva och analysera hur nya managementidéer tar sig uttrycksom styrlogik på advokatbyrån Holmgrenhansson för att undersöka om dessa nyamanagementidéer kolliderar med tanken om Profession som styrande logik. Definitioner avmanagement, Profession samt två faktorer för en möjlig kollision har utvecklats till enanalysmodell där begreppen chefskap, organisationskapande, styrsystem, autonomi,målkonflikt samt rollkonflikt har analyserats. Semistrukturerade intervjuer med åttarespondenter på advokatbyrån Holmgrenhansson har genomförts. Resultatet av studien är attmanagement på Holmgrenhansson tar sig uttryck i ett tydligt chefskap, ettorganisationsskapande samt genom olika styrsystem.

AbstractAim: The purpose of this study was to gain a deeper knowledge of how nurse anesthetists feel about their own Profession. It was hoped that by gaining a deeper understanding of how the nurse anesthetist is experiencing its own Profession, it will create better conditions for development and evolution of the nurse anesthesia Profession and skills. Method: for the study a qualitative approach was used in which ten anesthesia nurses were interviewed, aged 27-55 years, four men and six women participated in the study. The interviews were processed and analyzed based on qualitative content analysis. As a theoretical framework Patricia Benner seven skill domains was used.

The purpose of this thesis is to get knowledge about how it is to work as a librarian at Gothenburg city library during a rebuilding process and during the time when they have worked in a temporary library so called niche library. Which part did they have in the renovation project and in the niche library? The aim is also to find out how the librarians have experienced their time in the niche library and if it has affected their Profession and identity.The method that is used to answer questions of the study is semi-structured interviews with four public librarians. Through comparing previous research in building and rebuilding process I have analyzed the four public librarian?s part in the renovating process and the temporary library.

Landscape architect is a Profession that withholds varying tasks inside countries and between countries. In many countries the landscape architect Profession does not exist. Spain is a country where the landscape architect Profession is not recognized, and the Professions that work with landscape architecture are architects, engineers, biologists and agronomists. "Paisajista", in English "Landscaper," is in Spain a common name for those who design gardens and parks. Sweden is one of the countries with most landscape architects due to its population and the Profession is well established.

Denna studie behandlar mellanchefer inom vården i den offentliga sektorns arbetssituation. Mellanchefer inom vården innehar ofta en roll som sjuksköterska och en roll som avdelningschef. Den dubbla rollen kan vara problematisk då man ska tillgodose den etik och moral som Professionen innebär samtidigt som resultat ska levereras till verksamheten. Syftet med studien var att söka ökad förståelse för om det finns en konflikt mellan Profession och verksamhetskrav samt hur denna konflikt uppstår. Intentionen var också att undersöka om det kan leder till brott mot Det psykologiska kontraktet.Resultatet visade att Professionen som sjuksköterska kommer i konflikt med verksamhetskraven och att detta kan leda till brott mot Det psykologiska kontraktet.

Planeraren har ett yrke som kan vara svårt att beskriva och flera olika benämningar används för samma Profession. Rollen har förändrats och planeraren har gått från att vara autonom expert till att i större omfattning agera samordnare styrd av politiska viljor. Jag anser att det finns en viss otydlighet kring planerarens uppgifter och hamnar ofta i diskussioner om stadsplaneringens mindre åtråvärda konsekvenser och önskar därmed kunna ge en så rättvis bild av min blivande yrkesroll som möjligt.Denna uppsats syftar till att ta del av debatten kring planerarens Profession och utveckling i media, och uppsatsen berör huvudsakligen begreppen Profession, roll och kompetens. Tidskriften PLAN utgör källa för de artiklar som används för att representera debatten. PLAN ges ut av Föreningen för Samhällsplanering och kan ses som planerarkårens interna organ.Resultat kan sammanfattas till att det råder enighet kring att planerarrollen förändrats i takt med att antalet aktörer i planeringen ökat och därmed också komplexiteten i processen.

The focus of this study is to identify important factors affect, how teachers' Professional identity and role are shaped and changed during and after teacher training. Respondents included in study are all teachers in vocational subject in upper secondary school. They also have experience from at practical Profession before they began to work as teachers and started the teacher training. Method used in this study is the life stories of narrative nature.

Vi har genom en kvalitativ studie undersökt relationen mellan JMM-utbildningen och journalistyrket, samt huruvida JMM-programmet är en Professionsutbildning som förbereder studenten för journalistyrket. Detta har skett genom intervjuer med nio före detta JMM-studenter. Vår teoretiska utgångspunkt har varit Professionsteorier samt utbildningens betydelse i Professionaliseringen av journalistyrket. Resultatet visar att intervjupersonerna är nöjda med JMM-utbildningen, även om de känner att de inte blev helt förberedda på den journalistiska yrkesroll de mött ute i arbetslivet.Våra slutsatser är att utbildningen till viss del förbereder för journalistyrket, men att den aldrig kommer att kunna motsvara journalistyrkets verklighet gällande de redaktionella villkoren. Det är också påtagligt att JMM-utbildningen förmedlar tydliga normer och värderingar som ger en god grund att stå på.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how public librarians, including school librarians, express themselves about librarians in library journals. Questions asked in the study are: How is the knowledge, tasks and roles of librarians described? How do the librarians describe their own and others perceptions of librarians? Are there any contradictions in how the librarian Profession is described and if so, what are they? 56 articles from three Swedish library journals, Biblioteksbladet, bis and DIK-forum in the period from 1990 to 2007, are analysed. The theory and method used is discourse analysis.

This paper is about how the teaching Profession have got a changed status from the perspective of the teachers. The papers cause is to find out how the teachers think that their status have changed in a period of 30 years. Interviews have been done with eight middle school teachers from two schools in the municipality of Södertälje. The answers from the interviews have been put in relation to theories in research of Professions. Three hypotheses have been put up to apply the theories on the answers.

Purpose: The aim of this thesis is to create a greater understanding of organizational identification and the factors influencing this process. The understanding will be obtained by identifying what individuals identify them selves with and why this identification occurs.Method: The thesis is a case study with an abductive research approach with a focus on organizational identification. Data has been collected with a qualitative focus in interviews and images.Conclusion: The employees at Plain Capital primarily identify themselves with their Profession, the company and their co-workers. The reasons why they identify are mostly because of the feeling of pride and participation. We have discovered a link between a strong group identity and a high organizational identification.

The aim for this bachelor thesis was to form a deeper understanding of librarians? occupation and Professional identity and therefore we have examined library students? and educators? view on Professional identity, competence and career possibilities. Our take on this was that there seems to be little interest in managerial positions and we asked ourselves why this is and if we could see a change in interest in the librarians to become. As our theoretical framework, we chose Andrew Abbott?s, 'Theory of Profession'.

The study addresses the field of design as a Profession and examines the views on strategic management in a design project among nine selected graphic designers. The graphic designers who participate in the study are permanently employed at design companies in Stockholm. The study has a qualitative approach and the method is based on face-to-face interviews. We have chosen to examine this subject due to the opinion among Professionals that strategic management in the design industry has increased during the last decades. There is a belief that strategic management in some cases are used too extensively as a way for design companies to make more money.
