Bakgrund: Överflyttningar mellan intensivvårdsavdelningar kan leda till negativa konsekvenser för patienten så som minskad patientsäkerhet och försämring under själva transporten med förlängd vårdtid som följd. När resurserna på en intensivvårdsavdelning överstigs kan det bli nödvändigt att överflytta patienter mellan intensivvårdsavdelningarna trots de kända riskerna.Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka intensivvårdssjuksköterskors förhållningssätt till patientöverflyttningar på grund av resursbrist.Metod: En fokusgruppsintervju på en specialistintensivvårdsenhet i Mellansverige genomfördes. En induktiv kvalitativ innehållsanalys användes vid bearbetning av textmaterialet.Resultat: Intensivvårdssjuksköterskornas förhållningssätt kunde kategoriseras i tre domäner: yrkesroll, känslor samt rationell inställning. Dessa tre domäner utgjorde ett tema: Professionellt och känslomässigt förhållningssätt.Konklusion: Intensivvårdssjuksköterskorna har med hjälp av sin yrkeserfarenhet funnit både ett Professionellt och känslomässigt förhållningssätt som hjälper dem att hantera etiska dilemman och moralisk stress vid patientöverflyttningar på grund av resursbrist. The purpose of this master?s thesis is to see why there seem to be little interest in the management position at the public libraries. Since librarianship is a field that are proportionally dominated by women we chose to approach the study with a gender perspective. This study has excluded men and our main interest is the women?s point of view.

In this study my aim has been to discover what connections can be made between the way of creating a library building and the general values concerning the library activities and the library users. What kind of ideology could possibly be reflected in a library room? My study includes two different parts. First of all there is a theoretical section based upon literature relevant for the subject. Here I try to focus on the libraryÕs role in society as a public room.

Syftet med studien var att beskriva hur nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor upplevde sin första tid i yrket utifrån känslor, tankar, stöd och bemötande. Studien genomfördes som en kvalitativ intervjustudie med fyra informanter som arbetat på Gävle sjukhus mellan 6-18 månader. Resultatet redovisades utifrån studiens frågeställningar och visade att nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor upplevde många olika känslor och tankar inför sin nya yrkesroll. Känslor såsom rädsla, nervositet och förväntan var några exempel. Stödet och bemötandet från andra sjuksköterskor och närmaste chef var övervägande bra, medan bemötandet från under-sköterskor och läkare upplevdes som mindre bra.

Teamarbete har alltid varit viktigt i omvårdnaden där sköterskan förväntas samordna omvårdnaden kring patienten. Sjuksköterskan ska fungera som länk mellan det tvärProfessionella teamet, vårdgivare och patienter. Patientomvårdnad som ges av någon Profession på egen hand kan aldrig bli så bra som vård som ges av ett team. Syftet med denna systematiska litteraturöversikt var att undersöka vilka faktorer som påverkar teamarbetet mellan hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal samt faktorernas inverkan på omvårdnadsarbetet. För att uppnå studiens syfte har författarna valt att utgå från Holopainen, Hakulinen-Viitanen och Tossavainens fem steg för systematisk litteratur- översikt.

Det fanns många studier avseende attityder och kunskaper gentemot ECT bland både läkare och patienter. Däremot fanns ett fåtal studier ur sjuksköterskor och sjuksköterskestudenters perspektiv gällande attityd, kunskap och omvårdnad vid ECT behandlingen. Syftet var att ur ett omvårdnadsperspektiv beskriva ECT behandlingen avseende attityd, kunskap och omvårdnadshandling. Studien genomfördes som en litteraturöversikt baserad på tio vetenskapliga artiklar, nio kvantitativa och en kvalitativ, funna genom litteratursökning i databaserna Academic Search Elite, Cinahl, CSA Psychology, PsycInfo, PubMed, SweMed+, Scopus och Web of Science. Resultatet visade motsägelsefulla fynd angående attityderna.

AbstractThe aim of this essay is to explore how teachers and leisure educators can strengthen and increase students? self-confidence in different ways in their line of work. I chose this inquest for personal reasons and also because it will be of great aid for me since this is what I intend my future Profession to be. For this inquest I have chosen to do five qualitative interviews and two unstructured observations. The inquest was also based on relevant literature connected to its purpose.The results show that self-confidence is linked to something the individuals accomplish and that self-esteem is the way they see themselves, an inner feeling.

The aim of our study has been to see how DIK-forum represents the occupational groups that are represented in the frames of the trade journal. We have, to find out the phenomenon, done a content analysis by looking into 18 numbers of DIK-forum from year 2006 and 2007. The 18 strategically chosen journals was enough to give us a statistic result that we later on could generalize over those two years of DIK-forum. Totally there were 818 articles, news items and vacant advertisements that made the central point of this study. By these materials have we studied the representation of the occupational groups to find out if there were any over- and/or under represented groups, and also if the publications of the material were directed to the students or to the occupational groups in these trade journals.In our study the results shows that the trade journal DIK-forum does not represent all the occupational groups at the same level.

The aim of this study was to describe home care personnel and their experiences in palliative care. The design was qualitative and data were collected through interviews. Five home care personnel were interviewed, all women, whom have experience of palliative home care.The material was then analysed with qualitative content analysis and eight main categories, derived from experiences of home care personnel, were identified: relationship, safety, quality of care, a better end-of-life, routine, information, knowledge and competence, and work environment. The result showed that all participants of this study identified themselves as family members of the patients whom they had cared for during a long period of time. Additionally, the participants were emotionally touched when the patient died.The majority experienced that the patients do receive good care in their homes.

This is a study that will focus on the possibility to learn information about a town and its inhabitants of the 18th century by analyzing individual titles in the church records. The records that are used in this study are marriage registration administrated by the local church of the town of Uddevalla. The records are very detailed and each individual registered have a title, such as ?tradesman? or ?maiden?. Since the source are a registration of all the weddings that took place during the period of 1700 to 1749, the source gives very broad and valid information about the inhabitants of the town.

AimThe purpose of this study is to, from a perspective of a PE teacher, look at how teachers of physical education in elementary school designs and assesses the teaching of swimming. The issues underlying the study are as follows:Which elements are included in the swimming education and how do teachers work with these operations?What does the PE teachers classify as swimming ability and what do teachers experience as obstacles for the students development of swimming ability?How do the PE teachers interpret the knowledge requirement in Lgr 11?MethodThe study is based on six interviews of qualitative nature, with PE teachers from various municipalities in the region of Mälardalen.ResultsThe result yielded by the study is that the swimming classes can take different forms depending on whom the teacher is. Common to all the teachers in the study is that they teach emergency management and lifesaving. When it later comes to teaching how to swim and practice, the teachers who teach in the younger age groups work more concentrated and continuously with swimming, while the teachers who work with the older age groups just checks whether students can swim or not.

The aim with this study is to examine and analyze how the employees at two residential care homes for unaccompanied refugee children work with the children during their pending decision for asylum in Sweden. The purpose is to gain insight into the employees? daily work with the target audience and how they handle decisions with the children. The method to collect data is to carry 6 interviews with the employees at the residential care home. The interviews were semi-structured with purpose of letting the interviewee lead the content of the interview.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how social workers perceive the concept of knowledge within social services, particularly within children and youth services. Our goal is also to study the employer's expectations and demands on graduate social workers. The main questions we address in this thesis are; What knowledge is seen as useful by employers and graduate social workers working in social welfare offices? To what extent does university education bring useful knowledge to the work being done by social workers? What practical knowledge is there in the workplace for social workers to learn? When recruiting, what expectations does the employer have of graduate social workers? What challenges are there with recruiting a graduate social worker?We have interviewed six social workers and four employers in the social childcare division in different municipalities in Skåne region, Sweden. We have used epistemology in our analysis.

Att skapa tillit är ett fenomen som är individuellt för alla människor. Tillit skapandet i mötet mellan sjuksköterska och närstående bygger bland annat på kommunikation, empati och etik. Syftet med studie är att få förståelse för vad som skapar tillit i mötet mellan sjuksköterska och närstående. Metoden som använts är en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. Resultatet visar att omvårdnad inte bara bygger på de tekniska bitarna där sjuksköterskan enbart går in för att bota, den involverar även ett synsätt där man ser människan som helhet och inte som ett objekt eller projekt.
