I takt med globaliseringen har den offentliga sektorn ro?rt sig allt mer mot den privata. Detta har i sin tur resulterat i att man bo?rjat prata om ma?l i verksamheter som traditionellt sett inte har styrts av det. Ma?l grundande pa?!?effektivitet?!och ?resultat?, a?r ett relativt nytt inslag inom kulturverksamheter.

AbstractThe aim of our study was that from a Preschool Manager?s perspective to describe, analyze and understand the function of special education and the Special Education Teacher?s Profession within preschools. We conducted twelve interviews with Preschool Managers in two northern Swedish municipalities. From a theoretical base, we used both the relational and categorical perspectives. All answers from these interviews have been analyzed from these perspectives.

Syftet med denna studie har varit att beskriva och analysera attityder hos socialsekreterare till homosexuella par som familjehemsföräldrar. Våra frågeställningar som har genomsyrat studien har varit centrerade kring vilka attityder till homosexuellas lämplighet som familjehemsföräldrar det finns hos socialsekreterare som arbetar med målgruppen barn och familj, samt hur attityder till homosexuella som familjehemsföräldrar ser ut beroende på de homosexuella parens kön. Socialsekreterarna som har medverkat i studien arbetar inom kommuner i södra Sverige med ärenden som rör målgrupperna barn och familj. Studiens empiriska data har inhämtats med hjälp av enkäter som består av frågor och påståenden som är baserade på tidigare forskning. Vi har analyserat vår data i förhållande till diskurs inom socialt arbete som Profession och heteronormativitet.

 Euro barometer surveys show quite an astonishing change in Turkish opinion towards European Union. In 2004, 73 % of the population considered EU as a good thing. In 2008, only 49 % were of the same opinion. At the same time, skepticism towards European integration is explained differently in earlier research. Some scholars claim that partisanship may explain attitudes of citizens better than ?cost and benefit? approaches.

Background: Type 2-diabetes is now a public health problem, which constitutes 85-90 percent of diabetes care. The district nurse´s role in treating a diabetic (/person with diabetes) does not only comprise pure medical treatment but also support, advice and training to the individual. In our Profession as nurses, we have found that medical knowledge in patients with Typ 2-diabetes is not always enough to obtain changes in lifestyles.Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate the illness perceptions in patients with Type 2-diabetes and their impact on health behavior.Method: This qualitative study used grounded theory as a method. Results: The informants described in the interviews, their perceptions of living with Type 2-diabetes. The analysis revealed the main category periodic health behavior built up on and related to five categories developed in data: preventive health awareness, guilt, confidence in medical treatment, motivational problems and periods of insight.Conclusion: This study contributes to understanding of patients with Type 2 - diabetes their beliefs about illness and how it affects everyday lives.Keywords: Believes, District nurses, Groundey Theory, Illness perception, Type 2-diabetes.

School and education are topics that are frequent in Swedish media. The intention of this essay has therefore been to investigate the image of teachers and their Profession in Swedish daily press. The overall aim has been to analyze how teachers are portrayed in the debate that followed the TV-show Klass 9A, and by that find how the debate defines the concept of a good teacher. The representation that was found was then compared to earlier studies. The series was shown on Swedish television between January and March 2011.26 articles were chosen and the ambition was to have various perspectives represented, such as different voices and also papers from different areas of the country.

The aim of this study is to examine physical education teachers? and students? views on the thesis and its part in the physical teacher education program at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences.Does the view on the thesis differ between techers/students and the program with its curriculum and other policy documents?What does students/teachers value in a thesis?Does teachers/students have a mutual habitus concerning the thesis in the form of essay writing and how is this expressed?The study is based on a qualitative survey in which the respondents mainly answered open-ended questions with written answers. These answers have been categorized and analyzed with the aims of the study and the previous research in mind. The views on the purpose of the thesis differ, both within the group teachers/students and to a certain degree in relation to policy documents. The value of the thesis differs within the group.

Aim: To describe nurses' experiences providing end of life care to patients. Method Descriptive literature study, 15 articles were included. The search was made in PubMed, CINAHL and by manual search. The articles were reviewed, analyzed and summarized. Results: For newly graduated nurses? experience in end of life care proved to be something new, developing, difficult to manage and frightening, but expected in the Profession.

SammanfattningBakgrund:Med en växande äldre befolkning följer nya krav för   att förbättra hälsa, självständighet och aktivitet. Aktiviteter som bevarar   fungerande förmågor skapar känsla av välbefinnande, positiv självbild samt   ökar livskvaliteten för äldre. Det ingår i sjuksköterskans Profession att   identifiera samt aktivt arbeta för att förebygga hälsorisker.Syfte:  Att belysa aktiviteters betydelse ur den äldres och sjuksköterskans   perspektiv.Metod:Studien är en litteraturöversikt baserad på 14 vetenskapliga artiklar.Resultat:För att främja aktivitet hos äldre behöver de mer kunskap om   aktiviteters hälsofördelar, kunskap om lämpliga aktiviteter samt hur ofta och   hur mycket aktivitet som bör utföras. För att kunna ge optimalt stöd till den   äldre i hälsoförebyggande syfte behöver sjuksköterskan mer tid och kunskap. Diskussion:Hälsoförebyggande insatser bör komma redan på det stadium då den äldre   är relativt frisk och har förmåga till egenvård.

Background: The nursing Profession involves meetings and situations which can be stressful. The work environment can cause additional stress in the form of time pressure, lack of support from colleagues, management or disgruntled family members and patients. This places the nurse in a position that requires a sharpened ability to handle stress. It can become overwhelming and unmanageable and cause a serious threat to the nurse's health and wellbeing. To handle stress the nurses uses different coping strategies.Aim: The aim of the review was to gain a better understanding of how nurses deal with occupational stress.Method: A systematic literature overview study based on eleven articles, including both qualitative and quantitative studies.Results: Nurses deal with stress in different ways based on their own resources.

Most of my 16 students show a negative attitude towards mathematics and have difficulty understanding why they need mathematics to work as cooks. Their lack of knowledge has a negative effect on their work in the kitchen because they cannot master relatively simple mathematical solutions. The purpose of this study is to examine if an integrated working method of the subjects mathematics and cooking can change students? attitude towards mathematics and increase their understanding of the value of it in restaurant work. An integrated working method means to integrate the core subjects with programme specific subjects and that teaching is directed towards the main features of the vocational programme in order to create a holistic view.A theory of action research has been applied in this study, aiming to change something perceived as problematic through combining theory and practice in the cooking subject.

SUMMARY Establish a pasture There is many valuable nature and culture landscapes in Sweden that has developed during a long period of time, throw natural processes or human use. Unfortunately lot of these are disappearing. My thought with this work is to explore the possibility to establish new areas with similar qualities. The motive for this is that attractive countryside biotopes are well worth to use as model to enrich the urban landscape. Another thought has concerned the people that establish, build and manage landscapes and parks. They often have varied views, both coming from a difference in background and previous experiences.

I detta examensarbete undersöks lärarens betydelse för elevens motivation. Syftet med föreliggandearbete är att undersöka vilka egenskaper eleverna på gymnasieskolan anser att en lärare bör ha för att deska uppleva motivation i skolan samt vilken pedagogik de anser har betydelse för motivationen. Metodensom använts är en kvalitativ studie med öppna intervjuer, genomförda med fyra elever i årskurs tre påyrkesprogram. Tidigare forskning och teoretiska utgångspunkter har använts och analyserats i arbetet.Läraren har en stor betydelse för eleverna och läraryrket är ett mångfasetterat yrke. Som lärare bör detskapas en god relation och låta eleven få en delaktighet samtidigt som lektioner ska bedrivas medentusiasm och vara av god pedagogisk kvalitet för en hel klass.

Syftet med denna studie är att belysa specialpedagogens yrkesroll i förskola och skola samt skapa en djupare förståelse inom detta ämne. Studien tar även upp om arbetssätten skiljer sig åt i de olika verksamheterna. Studien är baserad på en kvalitativ forskningsmetod genom intervjuer. I studien intervjuas tio specialpedagoger på tio olika skolverksamheter, i fem förskolor och fem skolor, årskurs ett till sex. Intervjufrågorna handlar om hur specialpedagogerna ser på sin yrkesroll samt om i deras arbetsbeskrivningar skiljer sig åt i de olika verksamheterna.

Coordinator of public health has recently become a new Profession in the field of Health Promotion. During the last few years the pedagogic perspective has been increasingly important for the coordinators as a way of adapting their work methods to the circumstances. The conditions for coordinators of public health differ between municipalities and thus their tasks and responsibilities may vary with the local structure. According to the literature there are several ways to conduct Health Promotion and it is in the hands of the coordinator to adjust the methods to fit local conditions. The purpose of the study was to examine what influences the coordinators of public health and how that affects their work methods.
