The aim with this master thesis is to analyze a scientific material concerning the context between learning and child/student development, and factors which controls process of learning, to create an image with quality account and teaching in mathematics, which then can raise the mathematical knowledge among students.The phenomena which stand in focus for the investigation is: why there is a negative tendency for development of knowledge in mathematics, among the Swedish students that TIMSSs investigations showed in intercultural comparison within the years 1993, 1999, 2003 and 2007.The method is the ethnographical method, which is based on: analyzing scientific theories about learning child/student development, factors which controls process of learning, and factors which controls process of learning the most and qualitative empiric investigation with qualitatively analyzes the questionnaires, which is about factors which are controlling the process of learning and factors which are controlling the process of learning the most.Result of the theoretical and empiric analyzes shows that factors as school environment, attitude for subjects and teaching, controls and influence the learning. To end a unenthusiastic tendency as a negative development of mathematical knowledge among students that is shown in TIMSS investigation and to elevate the students' performance in mathematics, an elevated qualitative account and teaching in mathematics, by the factors named. Safe school environments as the intercultural meeting place, the teachers influence part to the students' subjects' attitude in mathematics and goal related grading criteria in teaching, is all required for e qualitative teaching in mathematics..

Rapporten beskriver examensarbetet Gamla idéer med nya lösningar utfört av Erik Björk,avgångsstudent från utbildningsprogrammet möbeldesign vid Carl Malmsten Centrum förTräteknik & Design vid Linköpings universitet. Examensarbetet är genomfört i samarbete medIKEA of Sweden.Syftet med det designuppdrag som jag har genomfört i samband med examensarbetet har varit attta fram fyra möbler utifrån givna förutsättningar i 7 olika möbelfabriker, som alla arbetar medmassivt trä som råvara. Utifrån dessa förutsättningar skulle jag dels skapa produkter somtillvaratar materialets unika egenskaper och därigenom ej är möjliga att imitera i andra material.Dels ge produkterna originalitet och personlighet genom att utforska den skandinaviskaidentiteten och mitt egna ursprung samt kommunicera detta genom produkterna. Var produktskall ha en historia att berätta.Att ta fram fyra möbler parallellt under 10 veckor har varit en utmaning. Stundvis har det käntssom att en produkt hade varit nog men i efterhand är jag glad att det var fyra.

A hearing loss may affect the identity development and participation among adolescents. To understand adolescents with hearing loss in modern society, it?s of great importance to ascertain how identity- and participation processes occur in new areas, such as the internet.Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate what research shown regarding identity development among adolescents with hearing loss and whether social processes on the internet may influence the participation of this group.Method: A literature review was conducted to obtain a cohesive framework of research about participation processes and identity development among adolescents. Included articles have been published 1995-2015.Results: The results show the importance of the individual?s identification with the surrounding.

There are numerous questions to be asked when your task is to plan a small community?s future development. Is it possible to suggest something new and modern? What considerations should be taken concerning the existing situation? What is an appropriate size for the new development? Where is it possible to build and what is the most appropriate method to use?In this master´s thesis I have tried to develop and describe a working-process where I execute a complete landscape character analysis for the whole community in question to get the answers to where and how it would be most appropriate to develop a village like Flädie without destroying its current character.Flädie is a typical small village in the countryside of Skåne, Sweden. It is strongly effected by the expansive and urban region it?s located in but is still rural in character.

The mission from IKEA of Sweden was to make a further development of their existing trolley in the FRAKTA -serial. IKEA wants that the new product would make the opportunities better for people who don't have cars to carry their goods home easily on the bus, train or walk after their purchase.The report includes a suggestion for a new product that will fit into the existing FRAKTA -serial. The new development product will continue the same standard as the other products in the serial and it will also make it possible for customers to carry their goods home by public transportations..

INTRODUCTION: Research from both nurse and patient perspective highlights shortcomings in psychiatric inpatient care for people with Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI). Nursing for people with NSSI, a subject in need for further knowledge, is in this study examined through a theoretical framework based on Person-Centered Nursing and Patientology AIM: Based on people's own experiences of being cared for NSSI in psychiatric inpatient care, the aim is to elucidate development opportunities for the nursing care of this group of patients.METHOD: Seven informants, all women aged 25-31, were interviewed about their experiences of nursing in psychiatric inpatient care. The transcribed text was analyzed and categorized according to an existential hermeneutic research approach.RESULTS: The categorization of the interviews resulted in seven areas of nursing in need of development. Knowledge, Environment, Information, Routines, Involvement, Communication and The nurse?s actions.CONCLUSION: Development of nursing is prevented since NSSI is stigmatized within psychiatric inpatient care.

In school, pupils learn to critically relate to sources of various texts. In the course of time they also learn how to make references and cite properly. Yet, alarming reports show increasing cheating and plagiarism in colleges and universities. Plagiarism prevention services are used today in Swedish high schools. We are questioning how this relates to the sociocultural perspective and curriculum view of imitation as a natural part of the learning process, communication and language.Material from depth interviews, with four teachers in the school subject Swedish about their theoretical and practical approach to students' writing process and writing development are used to deal with the issues of this thesis.

Detta examensarbete är genomfört i samarbete med Thorbjörn Birging. Birging arbetar med RFID[1] och är även VD för CombiQ på Science Park i Jönköping. Under lång tid har han velat skapa en produkt som hjälper människor med sömnproblem, depression, ångest och stress. Författarens roll som ingenjörsstudent blev att utveckla hans ide till en färdig produkt. Birging upptäckte efter att ha läst en artikel om sömnproblem att det finns studier som visar att det är enklare att somna med ett svagt ljud i rummet för att andra personer i rummet inte skall störas.

This study aims to investigate how value is constructed in horse business, in order to increase knowledge and contribute to development of theory in this field. This is important since the horse plays a significant role in the rural development in Sweden. The study assumes that value is something created through relationships in the social network. Therefore theories of sensemaking are combined with a discourse analytic method. By interviewing customers to two companies, one with orientation on trotting horses and one with orientation on showjumping horses, it was found that value is constructed through retrospective stories.

Medvetenheten att det krävs kreativitet för att nå framgång är idag stor. Trotts medvetenheten har företag svårt med implementeringen av kreativitet på daglig basis och få jobbar aktivt med att öva upp sitt eget kreativa tänkande. Kreativitet kräver kontinuerligt jobb med det kreativa tänkandet, träning krävs för att lyckas göra nya kopplingar, associera ihop till synes ologiska ämnesområden och finna samband.I dag finns det kreativa övningar som är framtagna för att stimulera kreativitet, öva upp växelvis divergent- och konvergent tänkande och generera unika idéer. Problemet är att övningarna används alldeles för sällan, få använder dem av egen fri vilja och att de oftast är primärt konstruerade för att användas i grupp vilket inte alltid finns tillfälle för.Denna rapport visar hur jag, Linn Westanbäck, genom en strukturerad process med ovisst utfall har arbetat fram idéer och ramar för en produkt med stor marknadspotential som stimulerar kreativitet med målet ett slutgiltigt produktkoncept.Projektet har resulterat i Ideawalk- en mobilapplikation som vägleder dig till att generera unika idéer, en vidareutveckling av den beprövade kreativa övningen Tankepromenad. Användandet av teknik som finns eller kan implementeras i dagens mobiltelefoner har möjliggjort ny konstruktion.

Latvia has been an independent state twice, the first time during the years 1918-1940 and the second time from the year 1991 and ahead. During these two periods Latvia has been a destination for tourists. The aim of this study is to describe how Latvia as a destination has developed during the years of independence. One further aim is to compare what Latvia?s tourism industry looked like during the same periods to descry similarities and differences.

The purpose of this research is to examine some historical aspects of Robert Putnam?s thesisabout voluntary associations and social capital. According to a micro perspective theory ofsocial capital the trust and reciprocity required and created by associations is important toexplain the disparity between institutional performance and socioeconomic development ofsocieties. The social patterns governing this therefore set a precedent for the future. Using themutual sickness benefit societies in Sweden as variable for voluntary associations around1884, the essay discusses the possible links between social capital, associations and long termeconomic development.

Med grund i kundens förändrade roll på marknaden har företag på olika sätt tvingats ändra sina produkt- och tjänsterbjudanden för att bättre möta kundens mer specifika önskemål och krav. Något som kommit att bli allt vanligare och användbart är att i varierande utsträckning involvera kunden i processen med att skapa den optimala produkten eller tjänsten. Att involvera sina kunder i skapandet av produkten påstås, tack vare graden av individanpassning, öka sannolikheten för att kunden ska bli nöjd. Kunden är idag dessutom mer mogen än tidigare och kompetent nog att kunna involveras i olika steg i skapandet av produkten. Ytterligare en effekt av den ökade kundnytta som kommer med medskapandet betonas vara en stärkt relation mellan företag och kund. En stark relation menas öka sannolikheten att få behålla de kunder företaget en gång lyckats värva.

Our aim with this study has been to show the central factors that we consider have had animpact on public libraries in the "information society". We have studied two communities in the south of Sweden, Ronneby and Sölvesborg. These two communities have both started a development to the IT society, a society where information plays a great role, where the technique is the tool that supplies information.Ronneby community had early the aim to be the chief Swedish information center. A priority on information technology has therefore been obvious for them. Sölvesborg community has had another method and time schedule towards the IT society.We have been studying the documentation of aim and the strategy for IT development in different levels.
