The concept of art infusion has become more and more used in the field of marketing and product advertising, and the phenomenon has been subject to research. The purpose of this paper is to study how the perception of an office environment is influenced by different kinds of art settings. The study is made as a survey in which the respondents have been exposed to working environments, only differentiated by the existence of different kinds of art or non-existence of art in the presentation. There are many conclusions to draw from the study, the most important is that the presence of art gives positive spillover effects on the surrounding environment..

Uppstart av nytt produktionsavsnitt
Detta examensarbete utfördes på DM-Motorbearbetningen vid Scania CV AB i Södertälje. DM har en plan för att öka kapaciteten i tillverkningen, detta gör att det under de närmaste åren kommer påbörjas ett antal investeringsprojekt i nya produktionsavsnitt. I dagens konkurrensutsatta marknader blir det viktigare och viktigare att vara effektiv och att ha korta ledtider i allt arbete som utförs inom industrin. I och med detta finns det stora vinster i att vid uppstart av nytt produktionsavsnitt kunna korta ned tiden som det tar till full produktionstakt. Fokus i detta arbete har legat på att identifiera möjliga orsaker till att denna tid blivit längre än vad som planerats i tidigare projekt på Scania.Historiskt när Scania har projekterat och startat nya produktionsavsnitt har det alltid tagit en viss tid innan förväntad volym och kvalitet uppnåtts efter produktionsstart.

This thesis describes how the chip space and coolant channels are designed in today?s mills, the ideas behind the design and what is considered to be the best method of cooling. It contains ideas on how the chip space can be simplified. It contains several concepts on how the cooling could be designed for better efficiency and manufacturability. There are also suggestions on how the cooling could be stopped when the cutter isn?t cutting.

The project was conducted during a period from November 2014 to January 2015 at the company Westermo Teleindustri AB (WTE). The subject of the project was to make an inventory more efficient. The inventory was located at WTE, but was owned by the subsidiary Westermo Sverige (WSE).The inventory had a high amount of tied up capital. This was due to products that hadn?t been sold.

Live slow motion: from idea to product
Vi ville undersöka om det var möjligt att på en begränsad budget bygga och programmera en Live Slow Motion-maskin för att generera repriser under en TV-sändning. Utan tillgång till dyrare specialtillverkad hårdvara skulle allt skötas i mjukvara på i grunden en vanlig konsument-PC. Vi ville så långt som möjligt att vår maskin skulle efterlikna de etablerade produkter som används i TV-branchen då vår förhoppning var att maskinen skulle kunna utnyttjas av TV-studenter efter färdigställandet. Vi ville dock inte begränsa oss för mycket, utan vi skulle försöka förbättra de saker vi ansåg behövde förändras..
Isolerande och skyddande dubbelväv - Produktutveckling av ett kylande fodral
Denna rapport beskriver en produktutvecklingsprocess som behandlar utvecklandet av ett textilt material som isolerar och skyddar. Det textila materialet ska fungera till ett kylande fodral utan att förstöra dess funktion och behöver därför uppfylla en speciell kravspecifikation. Materialet ska isolera mot kroppsvärme, vara stabilt, skyddande och slitstarkt. Dubbelväv valdes tidigt i arbetet då det är ett enkelt sätt att kunna påverka det textila materialets egenskaper i form av material- och konstruktionsval, i en betydligt större utsträckning än i en enkelsidig väv. För att utveckla ett material med de efterfrågade egenskaperna har tester utförs och den metod som har använts är hypotesprövning.
Participatory public art projects in run down residential areas - a discussion on how to run the process
Participation, public art and participatory public
art as phenomenons and subjects have been
studied and discussed. With interviews and observations
as a base, we have studied projects
and discussed participation, effect and quality
in relation to these.
Furthermore we have looked at how the participatory
art processes work in Sweden and
England. This essay seeks to discuss the process
of participatory public art and to emphasize
the elements contributing to the quality of this
process.
It is up to us as planners to recognize the possibilities
for a qualitative place. To mediate between
different interests, for example between
politicians and stakeholders, between economics
and quality, between the place and its users,
between individuals and the community, and in
our case between artists, users and the municipality.
Public art has gone from being about the product,
an art piece, to becoming more of a process,
from non interactive to interactive. Participation
ranges from receiving information to play
an active part in the process.
Four cases have been studied, taken both from
Sweden and England, showing the diversity of
processes connected to Participatory Public Art.
From interviews conducted in Sweden and
England information and thoughts have been
received and they show a higher degree of use
of participatory public art in England, and also a
higher consciousness.

The purpose of this project was to develop an interactive toy concept. A toy capable of reacting and expressing emotions like happiness, sadness, anger or love. And capable of developing its character with use.The initial questions was, how do I create interest, understanding and affection between a digital product and its user? How should the interaction be made?During the course of the project the search has mainly been for something that does not base its shape and interaction on likeness. Forexample likeness to humans or pets.I have created a toy concept called iio.
