AbstractThe assignment were assigned by Camatec Industriteknik AB. Camatec is a Karlstadlocated consulting company, they make everything from pilot studies to complete projects in mechanical design and calculation. They even have their own patented product, Camcoil. It is a winder for steel strips and is used for example with hardening of the steel strip. The assignment has been to solve the problems encountered by some customers within this product.

SMC Pneumatics is a world leading company in pneumatics. In Sweden, they have about one third of the pneumatic market. The company has noticed that their air preparation series not always have the appearance that the costumers are looking for. Their competitors have on their similar products put more effort in making them more attractive. To solve this problem it has in this project been developed a concept for aForm Shell.

This thesis gives suggestions as to how to design a wooden-based wave-power buoy. The thesiswas carried out at Uppsala University in collaboration with the Division of Electricity and AppliedMechanical Engineering. The product was conceived and developed taking into consideration anumber of requirements put forward by the supervisor, Magnus Rahm. The most importantdemands were that the material used should be able to withstand pressure from the sea withoutbeing damaged and that the production costs should be low.Department of Engineering Sciences, Division of Electricity at Uppsala University was visitedseveral times to discuss issues including the various ideas with the supervisor Magnus Rahm, andwith several people in the department.The work started by studying available literature in order to get background information aboutsuitable methods available for the project and to see how similar projects were carried out. The object of this thesis is the foundation of ethics. The question is whether there exists a universal core to ethics consisting of a fundamental ethical principle across cultures. This principle could for example be the so-called Golden Rule, which goes as follows: ?You should do to others what you want them to do to you?. The Golden Rule is to be found in many of the world?s religions and is also reflected in secular society.

This thesis project has been written and accomplished in cooperation with HABO AB. The objective of the project was to develop a standard stated packaging system. The background to this is that HABO is not pleased with the system currently in use. The system which HABO is currently using consists of to many sizes. The largest benefit of a standard stated system is that it becomes much easier to organize the packaging with the aid of a computer program.

Studiens metodologiska - och teoretiska utgångspunkter grundar sig i Foucaultiansk teoribildning. Empirin har samlats in genom två stycken fokusgruppintervjuer och materialet har analyserats med utgångspunkt i begrepp som governmentality och disciplinär makt. Optimizing of the material handling will give the company higher cost-effectiveness. Around the robot there are different kinds of material flows, to optimize the cycle time, consisting of carriages combined in different ways.Motion Control is a complex system with main functions such as; positioning, synchronizing, indexing and more. The products in the system need to cooperate to make these functions possible therefore integration of motor- and servo products are important.

Detta kandidatarbete uppfördes vid Institutionen för stad och land, Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet, Ultuna, under vårterminen 2012 efter en introduktion till projektet av Ramböll, Uppsala. Målet med studien var att undersöka hur det går att underlätta för fotgängare och cyklister att röra sig utmed länsväg 255 på ett säkert och trivsamt sätt, samt att undersöka vilken möjlighet landskapet har att klara dessa förändringar. Ämnet knyter samman flera viktiga aspekter för en landskapsarkitekt då arbetet behandlar en fråga som är viktig både ur gestaltnings- och planeringsperspektiv samt har stor betydelse för samhällets invånare och för naturens hållbaret. Då sträckan som studerades är nästan två mil lång gjordes studien på en övergripande nivå med landskapets helhet i fokus. I analysen lades särskild vikt vid visuella upplevelsevärden som kan uppfattas i gång- och cykelfart, det vill säga stora landskapselement och variation av naturtyper. Även perceptuella värden såsom fysisk bekvämlighet samt känslomässiga upplevelser studerades.

Ambulance mission can vary in priority and magnitude. This in turn demand a high medical competence our capacity.

Denna uppsats syfte är att undersöka och förklara hur brand extension produkter kan påverka ett företags image. Vi har valt att undersöka Jaguars, Porsches och Ferraris brand extension produkter då dessa avviker mycket från deras core product. Uppsatsen besvarar även hur konsumenterna uppfattar dessa brand extension produkter och företagens bakomliggande motiv till dem. Vi har under uppsatsskrivandet gång pendlat mellan teori och empiri. Vår empiri består av kvalitativa undersökningar.

This report describes the results of the project "Concept development of jet engine inspection plugs" carried out in the spring of 2008. The work was done at the department of product definition at the company Volvo Aero in Trollhättan. The objective of the work was to develop concepts for a "Volvo-unique" inspection plug. The work is part of Volvo Aero's focus on proprietary (self-developed) technologies. Inspection plugs can be found on virtually all aircraft engines and gas turbines.
