By studying literature concerning design, didactics and reflection, and complementing those explorations with interviews with experienced design educators, this thesis challenges the idea of aesthetic media education being purely aesthetic in its characteristics. Drawing from their own experiences as a media aesthetics educator and an industrial designer, the two authors argue that the work flow used within most fields of design, commonly known as the design process, might provide a suitable didactic alternative to a field of education lacking relevant methodology. The literature study offers a better understanding of the design process and how it may be defined and viewed within an educational context. The interviews provide a more practical insight into the world of design education. The result shows that the design process as a didactical method theoretically offers both elements of critical thinking as well as direction and frames for students lacking aesthetic and artistic experience.

Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka hur människor där den kreativa processen är central i sitt yrkesutövande upplever denna process och se om det går att hitta ett mönster. Vi bestämde oss för att ta reda på vad som händer inuti människan runt det kreativa ögonblicket. Vår huvudfrågeställning är: Vad är den kreativa processen? Vi gjorde öppna intervjuer med fem verksamma kreatörer med hjälp av DV-kamera. Vårt resultat visade att det gick att se ett gemensamt mönster i den kreativa processen.

Denna reflexiva rapport undersöker processen att utveckla ett implementationsförslag för ett användargränssnitt till ett spel som ska lära ut riskhantering till körskoleelever. Den reflexiva rapporten genomför också en analys av användargränssnittet och innehåller därför en kort genomgång av riktlinjer och gränssnittsprinciper från människa-datorinteraktion (MDI) samt teorin om Flow. Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka hur olika implementeringar av Juuls uppdelning av bestraffningstyper kan påverka möjligheten för spelare att hamna i tillståndet som Csikszentmihalyi identifierade som flow. För att undersöka påverkan av olika bestraffningstyper på spelares upplevelse skapades tre olika versioner av ett plattformsspel med olika implementationer av bestraffningstyper baserade på Juuls uppdelning av bestraffningstyper. Ett antal respondenter fick spela alla tre versioner för att därefter, via semi-strukturerade intervjuer, försöka förmedla hur deras upplevelse varierade från en version till en annan. Undersökningsdeltagarna observerades under spelning för att försöka fånga spår av flow-tillståndet i deras kroppsspråk. Även deras prestation i varje spelsession lagrades för att möjliggöra en jämförelse av spelversionerna.

Flow measurement is one of the greatest challenges in order to calculate efficiency in hydropower. Most hydropower plants in Sweden use differential pressure methods for flow measurement. These methods are dependent on constant conditions in the waterways. A change in these conditions, like turbine improvements, prevents differential pressure methods to verify efficiency improvements. Since efficiency improvements can?t be verified by one measurement system, another method, which isn?t affected by changing conditions, can be used.

The thesis focuses on identifying and analyzing the customer order fulfillment process of three customers at Pallco AB.The main objective of the thesis is to distinguish time differences in the company?s administrative work for each of the three customers. In this thesis, the flows of reactive nitrogen (Nr) in Scania were investigated and quantified. The thesis was also intended to form a basis for comparison between the urban nitrogen flow and other flows of nitrogen within Scania. The management of nitrogen in society has disturbed the natural nitrogen cycle. This is linked to a series of environmental problems such as eutrophication, acidification, global warming and smog. The method used was Substance Flow Analysis (SFA) for Nr. For calculation and flow charts Scania was divided into three subsystems; air, water and society.

This master thesis is based ona case study of a work process that is being used for the industrialization of products at Ericssonin Katrineholm. The aim of the study is twofold. One aim is to improve the studied process byidentifying improvement opportunities and carrying out the required adjustments.

The aim of this thesis is to examine the flow of information in an administration of the municipality Borås Stad. To achieve the aim the following questions were asked: How accessible is information? How is information used in the organisation? How is information communicated? Totally sixteen qualitative interviews was accomplished with employees at the administration. The results of the interviews show that there is a difference in how much and what sort of information the respondents use. They all seem to prefer information to be communicated face to face if possible or over the phone.
