The aim of this essey was to find out what kind of help problem gamblers can get at social service offices in the region VÀstra Götaland in Sweden. We also examined the knowledge regarding gambling problems at social sevice offices and who the head of the social service offices regarded having the responsibility for the question of helping problem gamblers. As a last question we wanted to know if the size of the population in the community had an impact on these questions. Central questions in our essey asked are:How much help does the social service offices in the region VÀsra Götaland offer problem gamblers? Who has the responsabilety to help problem gamblers according to social service offices?What knowledge does the social service offices have concerning problem gambling?Does the population of the community have an impact on theese questions?This is a quantitative study made as a webbservey to the head of the social service offices in the region VÀstra Götaland.

Abstract The amount of evil that we can see in our world might make the thought of a kind and caring God as its creator paradoxical. This is what is generally called the problem of evil and the topic of this study. This is a litterary study which is based on qualitative analysis and hermeneutics as our method. We have chosen to research this problem with the emphasis on two different theodices. One of these theodices is written by John Hick and the other by C.S Lewis.

För att besvara frÄgestÀllningen genomfördes en kvalitativ fallstudie av ett projekt inom Region SkÄne dÀr fokus lÄg pÄ att implementera en teknisk plattform. Resultatet frÄn studien pÄvisade tre centrala problem som projektet stötte pÄ under implementeringen av den tekniska plattformen men Àven orsaken till dessa problem. De tre centrala problem som identifierades var samarbets- och tekniska problem men Àven svÄrigheter att följa tidsplanen.

  Befintliga studier har pÄvisat att genetiska algoritmer presterar bÀttre om de ges en bra startpopulation. I denna rapport presenteras en lokal sökalgoritm för att skapa en population med fokus pÄ ?vehicle routing?-problem. Algoritmen anvÀnder sig av heuristik i en blandning av simulated annealing och tabu search för att skapa individerna till populationen. The aim of this study is to describe and analyze how the European union relates to the different dimensions of abortion. What kind of problem is abortion and whose right is it? This Master?s Thesis deals with a special problem that may be of importance when planning a frequency hopping mobile communication network. In normal cases the Frequency Assignment Problem is solved, in order to plan the use of frequencies in a network. The present study aimed to replicate Tversky & Kahneman's' survey of 1981 The Asian Disease Problem. A survey was conducted on the Internet (N = 200). An identical problem was added, yet with The Swine Flu as the disease. This was done to be able to investigate if there are any order effects, and also if it matters whether the mentioned disease is fictional or real. The results show the same results as Tversky & Kahneman already noted; positively and negatively framed problems generate different responses from the participants.

PurposeThe purpose with this C-essay is to give a description of disordered eating in sports. Further, I also wanted to make a survey of the knowledge of the trainers and their attitudes to eating disorders within sports. I will bring a good view of the problem. I hope that it will give a wider knowledge, acceptance and understanding for the problem.
