Utmaningar i byggleken : en möjlighet att lära matematik?
Ett av förskolans vanligaste material är byggklossar i trä. I denna studie undersökte vi hur barnen i den fria byggleken gick tillväga då de löste uppkomna problem, samt vilka matematiska aspekter de erfor i leken med klossarna. Barnens lek observerades med hjälp av videokamera, och det resultat som erhölls härur kopplas i studien till teorier kring matematik och barns lärande. De slutsatser som drogs då observationsmaterialet analyserades är att förskolebarn i byggleken får rika tillfällen att erfara olika matematiska områden. Dessutom möter barnen för dem relevanta problem, vilka de behandlar, och i vissa fall löser, på skilda sätt.

AbstractThe present thesis examines reading acquisition. The aim of the study is to gain a deepened understanding of various methods used for reading acquisition, how teachers? are dealing with these methods and what aspects require special attention. The overall research question of the thesis is: How can one assess children?s future reading ability and identify a method that is appropriate to this ability? The overall aim leads to several more specifically addressed issues.In the theoretical part, different perspectives and theories about reading acquisition are presented along with different methods for how to work in order to facilitate reading.

With theories of creativity and aesthetic learning processes as a basis, this study explores the usage of the concept of creativity in the curriculum for the Swedish compulsory school (Lgr11) and in the various syllabi?s commentaries and the assessment guidelines for the subject of Sloyd produced by the Swedish National Agency for Education. The purpose of the study is, to examine to which extent an education and assessment that is directed towards the development of creativity among pupils in the subject of Sloyd, is underpinned and supported for in these texts, and furthermore how these wordings relate to the various other subjects? wordings about creativity. Creativity is a concept around which there is no proper consensus.
Going Green - Why and How Thule Should Make Environmental Issues a Part of Their Business
Problem: When opening a newspaper today there is a good chance that the headlines have something to do with recent developments in the global climate debate. This development is forcing companies to take action. The problem for many companies, including Thule, is that they are unaware of the environmental work conducted throughout their value chain and also what they need to do to become green. Thule, a company with a strong focus on profitability and growth, will not make environmental issues a part of their core strategy unless it can be shown that economic incentives exist. With this thesis we will try to build a case that will help Thule, and also other companies, see the possibilities a green venture brings with it.

The purpose of this thesis is to identify the factors that drive efficiency and effectiveness in technical development projects performed at A?F?s department of product development. In addition to identifying and analyzing these factors, the thesis also analyzes what needs to be taken in to account in order to implement a measurement system that is able to both monitor and control the identified factors.The thesis has been performed in a qualitative manner. It is based on interviews with people from several different technological companies, within different lines of business, all of which are customers to A?F?s department of product development.The results show that there are seven critical factors for project efficiency and effectiveness.

This Master thesis studies how a diversified institutional care organisation can optimise its collective knowledge resources so to manage and distribute this knowledge to different parts of the organisation with help of the organisations intranet. The purpose of the study is to examine if knowledge management and the organisations intranet can be used to create, store, transfer and better use the knowledge within the organisation. Through a case study the thesis will look at different knowledge processes and their relation to the organisations intranet. The case study includes a questionnaire for the whole organisation and qualitative interviews with seven persons from different levels of the organisation. The theoretical framework of the study approaches knowledge management and intranet through four knowledge processes.

Butiken erbjuder alltid god service när det gäller utprovning av plagg men saknarbaskunskaper om textila material och hur de tillverkas. Textil informationen har tagits framför att underlätta detta problem. Kunskapsbristen kommer nu att eliminerats så personalen kanerbjuda den bästa servicen.För att få reda på hur informationen på bästa sätt skulle redovisas för butiken studeradespedagogik. Inlärning fungerar olika för alla, vissa tar till sig bilder medan andra lättare kanregistrera text.

In July 2010 the curriculum Lpfö 98 was readjusted and was enhanced with new chapter, and the purpose of this essay is to study how preschool teachers discuss and describe how their conduction to the new chapter 2.6 of the readjust Curriculum Lpfö 98. I want to understand how they experience their work with the documentation.My question formulations are:How do three pre-school teachers reason around what they document in the pre-school?Which practical conditions do the pree-school teachers claiming to have on the pre-school to perform the documentation?How do they describe that they use the documentation to advance the tutoring in the preschool?In order to find out more, I interviewed three pre-school teachers, and analyzed the results I got based on prior research on documentation, and quality in preschool. My results show that the main focuses for documentations are how the children interact with each other, how they react and behave with new materials or activities. My informers emphasize that the main purpose of documentation are to be able to show the children their own process of learning.The practical conditions differ among my informers, which can lead to consequences when they want to make documentation and/or use the documentation for its purpose. My results also indicates that the documentations are used to plan the pedagogical activities in regard to the children?s interests and according to the curriculum Lpfö98 rev.2010.

Many students even manage to read instruction manuals and understandhow technical devices work, such as, for example, computer games. However, most teachersunderestimate their students? ability and persist in using Swedish to explain how the Englishlanguage works. I have analysed how high school students manage when they take an Englishgrammar test in English.

aktuell studie var att kartlägga olika faktorer som påverkar varför sjuksköterskor
tar respektive inte tar medicintekniska kompetenskort via TILDA samt att
undersöka sjuksköterskornas inställning till att arbeta med medicintekniska
kompetenskort via TILDA. Studien var en deskriptiv tvärsnittstudie och
mätinstrumenten var enkäter. Dataanalys utfördes med hjälp av statistik
programmet SPSS och kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

The aim of this essay is to analyze how students are constituted as subjects in local curricula. The theoretical perspective is grounded in Michel Foucault?s notion of governmentality and power/knowledge and his critique of a sovereign subject. From this theoretical perspective I use Foucault?s concept of formation of objects and Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe?s idea of subject positioning as tools for a discourse analysis.

This dissertation will examine documents from Australian Red Cross and IASC (Inter Agency Standing Committee) in order to explore how they work with gender and shelter related issues. The objective is to examine and with help from these documents see how gender is constructed. The method and theory is based on Carol Bacchis; What?s the problem represented to be approach? (WPR-approach).

The study aims to give a description of the conditions in which matters is prepared withinSwedish Government`s offices, to describe the adaptive capacity in the agency`s internalprocesses by investigating the experiences of some civil servants restricted to the Ministry ofEnterprise and the Ministry of Environment in their work with the EU Maritime Policy GreenPaper. The results have been analyzed against the basis of eight identified criteria of buildingadaptive capacity in socially dominated systems. The criteria are comprised of both individualand organizational abilities. Only two of them were fully met; the criteria about diversity inexperiences and knowledge and the criteria about information and how the information hasbeen applied. However, the process has traces of all the identified criteria.
Utemiljöns betydelse för små barns utveckling och lärande
The study concentrates on which significance the pre-school?s yard and the outdoor environment has and how it influence the young children regarding their development and learning. The study is carried out through observations of the children complimented by interviews of them. The results show that children?s outdoor environment is important for their development of mobility, language, social competence and learning about nature.
