The soybean can be used in multiple ways, and its high oil content makes it suitable for extraction. Soy bean meal, a by-product of the oil extraction, is a good source of protein with a high feeding value, and is therefore used in a number of different animal feeds. Further, soy bean meal has a low production price, which is one of the reasons for the extensive export of the product. There is a great demand for vegetable-based proteins, especially in the organic production where synthetic amino acids are banned. However, the current production of soy beans is not environmentally sound and that combined with the long transport distances amplifies the need of finding a locally produced protein source.

The retailing landscape has become even more competitive with an increasing number of store formats. One result of this can be seen within different retail-chains as they launch different formats that operate under the same name. Thus, consumers now have many alternatives and substitutes when it comes to choosing which format to shop from. This phenomenon has led consumes to shop across stores for the same brand. The objective of this study is to explain how consumers respond to various offers in different store formats and to determine whether the results differ if we compare a familiar brand with an unfamiliar brand.

The aim of this master thesis is to investigate the design of the reference service and its development that Internet has caused in college/university libraries when it comes to the service provided to the user. I want to examine the quality of this development from the view of the librarians, and also investigate their attitude and how they deal with this development.The following questions were asked:? How has Internet changed the reference service at college/university libraries?? How do the librarians look upon the possible change of quality in the reference service when the Internet is involved?? What attitude do the librarians hold toward this development where Internet is used in the reference service and how do they deal with it?The method used was qualitative interviews. A total of six librarians from Blekinge tekniska högskola, Halmstad högskola, Lunds universitet and Växjö universitet have been interviewed.The theories and models used were ?media richness?, a quality framework including ?quality aspects of a service?, and social psychology and its ?reasons for a positive/negative attitude on an organisations change?.The result shows that Internet has brought more sources of information and additional ways to contact the library.

2013 a decision was made that all projects at the Swedish Transport Administration shoulduse BIM (Building Information Modeling) to some extent from 2015. BIM is an approachthat allows for streamlining of projects by the use of a 3D-model created in an early stage ofthe project. The 3D-model can carry information about the facility throughout its life cyclefrom planning to management. The use of a 3D-model can help the project to detect errors inearly stages of the project when it is easy and cheap to fix the error instead of finding theerror in the construction phase when it is costly and time consuming to fix it. 3D-models alsolead to improved communication both within the project groups and with the public.

Kreativiteten är mångfacetterad och intensivt studerad, med processerna involverade i kreativ problemlösning traditionellt undersökta inom kognitionen. Perfektionismen är ett personlighetsdrag som påverkar alla områden i individernas liv. Ändå är perfektionismens påverkan över kreativ problemlösning otillräckligt utforskat. Därför var syftet med föreliggande studie att undersöka perfektionismens effekter över kreativ problemlösning samt att undersöka hur perfektionism tillsammans med känslor påverkar förmågan att lösa kreativa problem. Genom en webbaserad enkät samlades data in från 96 deltagare genom självskattningsinstrument för perfektionism och för känslotillstånd, ett test för kognitiv reflektion och ett insiktsproblem där svarstiderna registrerades.

Syftet med undersökningen var att se om det fanns någon skillnad i personlighet mellan beroende människor och icke-beroende människor. Med ?beroende människor? menas människor som är beroende av alkohol, narkotika eller andra kemiska substanser, eller människor som är beroende av aktiviteter, som exempelvis spel. Studien bygger på att människan, i enlighet med trait-biologiska perspektivet, har vissa fundamentala personlighetsegenskaper som är biologiskt grundade och som påverkar människans beteende och därmed hans/hennes sätt att leva. Tanken bakom studien var att vissa personlighetsdrag kan inverka när det gäller benägenheten att utveckla ett missbruk.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the two new phenomena; the pricing model Pay-What-You-Want (PWYW) and the launch of daily newspapers in the iPad. A quantitative study was conducted in order to examine what would happen if the PWYW-model where to be used by a daily newspaper for its iPad product, and what this would signal to consumers about the brand in terms of brand association and brand attitude. Furthermore, we have investigated which of these factors that are affecting willingness to pay in this PWYW-situation. Moreover, a secondary purpose was to test the two possible presentations of the digital newspaper in the iPad; Product and Access ? and how the results differed between these two.

Studien syftade till att undersöka hur gravida förstagångsföräldrar i tredje trimestern upplever sin graviditet och det kommande föräldraskapet, utifrån kvinnan och mannens perspektiv. Studien hade ett fenomenologiskt förhållningssätt och ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer. Analysunderlaget utgjordes av 14 intervjuer med blivande föräldrar och barnmorskor. Resultatet av analysen visade fem huvudområden: Förhållandet till den gravida kroppen (tankar och känslor inför kroppens förändring, förlossningen, bärandet av fostret), Förhållandet till det blivande barnet (känslor och kommunikation med fostret, föreställningar om barnet), Förhållandet till den kommande föräldraidentiteten (tankar kring föräldraskapet, förebilder, skapandet av föräldraidentiteten), Förhållandet till parrelationen (graviditeten och föräldraskapets påverkan på relationen, partnernas rollfördelning), Förhållandet mellan föräldra- och yrkesidentitet (balansen mellan föräldrarollen och yrkesidentiteten). Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra med en utökad kunskap kring generation Y, som definieras som bestående av 80- och 90-talister, och deras arbetsvärderingar. Genom att undersöka vilka arbetsvärderingar svenska 80- och 90-talister besitter diskuteras begreppet generation Y och om dessa båda grupper kan betraktas som enhetliga gällande arbetsvärderingar. En enkätundersökning genomfördes bland svenska högskolestudenter. Utifrån resultatet av denna samt ett teoretiskt underlag har vi gett förklaringar till 90-talisternas syn på arbetsvärderingar. Denna syn har sedan jämförts med enkätresultatet med avseende på 80-talister för att därefter jämföras med tidigare kunskap om 80-talisternas arbetsvärderingar. Slutligen har innebörden av jämförelsen diskuterats med avseende på generationsbegreppet utifrån tidigare forskning. Efter genomförd studie kan vi konstatera att det är de inre arbetsvärderingarna som värderas högst av generation Y, följt av de yttre och de frihetsrelaterade.

This paper presents an investigation into the relationship between inmates and staff in a high security prison in Sweden. The primary objectives are to investigate this relationship from an inmate perspective and to identify key factors that may promote or hinder rehabilitative interaction with staff. Empirical data utilized in this study consist of semi-structured interviews carried out by the authors with nine inmates currently in custody of the treatment facility within the prison and six inmates housed within the study facility. This data collection method is an extension of grounded theory and four key themes were generated from the data analysis. The first of these examines the effect of rule enforcement on prison atmosphere and subsequent staff/inmate relations.

Background: As a result of the financial markets ever ongoing product innovation a new derivative was introduced in the USA in 1997. A derivative that derived it's value, not from the price of an underlying asset, but instead from a climate factor. It's been known for a long time that revenue in certain industries are affected by weather conditions. The suppliers of weather derivatives claim that these weather sensitive businesses can user weather derivatives in order to lessen weather risk. Purpose: To do a critical evaluation of how weather derivatives can be used by companies as a risk management tool.

Studiens tvådelade syfte motiveras utifrån rådande oenighet och förvirring kring hur gruppkohesion bör definieras och mätas. Det första syftet var att konstruera och testa ett formulär avsett att mäta olika typer av kohesion. Formuläret kom att innehålla 12 olika aspekter av kohesion baserade på tidigare studiers konceptualiseringar av begreppet. Formuläret undersöktes (N=404) utifrån frågeställningen: Vilka psykometriska egenskaper har kohesionsaspekterna i formuläret? Formuläret uppvisade acceptabla psykometriska egenskaper.

The concept invisible college was first introduced in the fifteenth century, through the creation of the ?the Royal Society of London?, and it was reintroduced in the 1960:ies and the 1970:ies by scholars such as Price and Crane.
