För att kunna hålla jämna steg med utvecklingen och förändringar i samhället har flera av Sveriges kommuner infört ett rehabiliterande arbetssätt att jobba efter inom äldreomsorgen. I denna kvantitativa studie, ställs frågan huruvida det skiljer sig i självupplevd arbetstillfredsställelse mellan personal som jobbar enligt ett rehabiliterande arbetssätt och de som inte gör det. För att mäta variabeln arbetstillfredsställelse användes ett frågeformulär, QPSNordic-34+. I enkätundersökningen deltog 180 anställda inom äldreomsorgen i två svenska kommuner och 120 besvarade enkäten, vilket motsvarar en svarsfrekvens på 66,7%. Resultatet visade att det finns en signifikant skillnad i hur man upplever arbetstillfredsställelse hos anställda som jobbar enligt ett rehabiliterande arbetssätt jämfört med de som inte gör det..

Uppsatsen behandlar teorin om kognitiv dissonans och dess effekter på attityder. Teorin om kognitiv dissonans beskriver bland annat att man strävar efter att handla konsekvent med sin attityd. Handlar man inkonsekvent kan man uppleva dissonans.Syftet med undersökningen var att mäta attitydförändring utifrån kognitiv dissonansteorin. Vi undersökte detta med experimentmetod och enkäter där vi med hjälp av 77 personer mätte attityder till olika organisationer före och efter en påverkan från vår sida.Våra analyser visade inga signifikanta effekter av attitydförändring i experimentet. Vår främsta förklaring till detta är den kognitiva dissonansen vi försökte skapa blev för liten och att andra motivationsfaktorer påverkade resultatet för mycket..

Delat ledarskap har på senare år blivit alltmer uppmärksammat, främst inom idrotten där Tommy Söderberg och Lars Lagerbäck rönt stora framgångar. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om inställningen till delat ledarskap är mer positivt bland de personer som haft denna ledarform än bland personer som inte upplevt detta. Syftet är dessutom att se på hur ett specifikt delat ledarskap fungerar. Genom intervjuer med två elitfotbollstränare som utövat delat ledarskap samt en enkätundersökning med elitfotbollsspelare, har data samlats in.Resultaten visade ingen signifikant skillnad i inställningen till delat ledarskap hos fotbollspelarna. Däremot gav intervjuerna med tränarna en bra inblick i hur ett delat ledarskap fungerar, något som kan vara framtidens ledarskapsform..

The main reason for this project is my interest of our environment. What are our two largest grocerychains doing to maintain our environment? The aim of the project is to show the consumer which similarities and differences there are between ICA and Coop. My questions are: What are ICA and Coop doing to satisfy the demands to preserve our environment, are they going further than they have to? What do they think is important? Environment, price, consumer friendly? Answers: ICA and Coop are working to keep up with the demands, but are they doing more than they have to? The branch is a close world; it's hard to get impartial information. They are turning towards different consumer groups. ICA and Coop has different ways to interest consumers, ICA points out the importance of the meals, while Coop points at the environment. New questions has risen during my work: How far will their own brandnames go? Will ICA, Coop and others have their own farms, producers and suppliers? How can the consumer be protected? Studerade effekten av social ångest och självfokusering på attributionsstil och impressionsbildning. En 2 (uppmätt hög/låg social ångest) x 2 (manipulerad hög/låg självfokusering) design användes. Deltagarna var 68 studenter, 56 kvinnor och 12 män. För attributionsstil användes separata skalor för bra och dåliga händelser. För impressionsbildning användes en positiv och en negativ skala.

In this paper respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) was examined in relation to two kinds of threatening pictures, biological and nonbiological. Based on the results of prior research the hypothesis was claimed to note a difference between the two types of pictures regarding RSA and gender differences regarding cardiac activity due to the emotional stimulus. ECG and respiration were collected from 36 adults, 17 women and 19 men. There were no significant relationship between the different types of threatening pictorial stimuli, and no significant effects of gender were found. The results support some of the prior research on the topic but are in conflict with other.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka upplevelser kring att ha blivit utsatt för mobbning i skolan. Litteratur och tidigare forskning visade bl.a. på samband mellan mobbning och låg självkänsla, även på könsskillnader i utövandet av mobbning, samt att följderna av mobbning kan bli förödande. Studien tillämpade halvstrukturerade/fokuserade intervjuer och fenomenologisk analys användes för att tolka data. De känslor och upplevelser som beskrevs i intervjuerna verkar överensstämma med vad som tidigare framkommit i forskning om mobbning.

The goal of this paper is to provide a model for a sustainable electricity system to an island, in the Pacific Ocean near the equator.The method which has been used is to model supply and demand of electricity in the computer program Stella, through the creation of a dynamic system that balances them against each other. The result from the model will then be used to calculate the electricity price per kWh for the island.The result of the work is that electricity from solar energy is comparable with electricity produced from oil, if the oil pays for all its external costs, and the potential for pumped hydro storage plants is located. It also requires that consumers of electricity can be their own producers to avoid the expenditure of tax and reducing the cost of distribution. But since oil is a finite resource and has had a rising cost in recent years, while solar energy has had a declining cost, perhaps this will be a more competitive solution in the future.

Although previous research conclude that mergers and acquisitions do not always lead to improved profitability or increased shareholder return, the number and size of M&A?s is steadily increasing. In this thesis we examine why an acquirer pays a price higher than the market value. Can accounting data explain the size of the premium? 618 European transactions between 1997 and 2008 are examined and relationships between the targets? accounting data and the premium is analysed through statistical regressions.

The goal of this qualitative essay is to approach the knowledge of people who commit crimes. From a development psychology point of view, questions relating to childhood ang growth are some of the important subjects we choose to discuss. Our purpose is also to reveal the linkage between criminal behavior and different theories of the above mentioned perspective. To bridge the gap between the general and the individual, our survey was based on profound interviews with four inmates in prison. This offer an opportunity to capture the individual´s inner thoughts, feelings and experience about the criminal action.

Collective collapse occurs when a majority of players in a team suddenly perform below expected level in a match of great, often decisive, importance in spite of a normal or good start of the match or when a team underperforms right from the start of the match. The aim of this study is to investigate collective collapse, focusing on emotional contagion. The study is a qualitative study based on semistructured interviews with nine handball players in an elite team. The results show six factors presented as themes. These are Preparations, The coach and leadership, Emotional contagion, Communication, Role Acceptance and Incongurence.

Benign Childhood Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes - BCECTS is a common neurological syndrome but the possible cognitive effects are still relatively unknown. In the study 12 children with the diagnose BCECTS, 9 boys and 3 girls between the ages of 5,5 and 13,5 years, were examined. An extensive battery of neuropsychological tests were administered. The results indicates normal cognitive functioning as compared to the normal population, with one exception; an aspect of attention. But the results also indicate several negatively effected performances when compared to the cognitive g-factor of each child.

Föreliggande studie handlar om vilka element i dessa spel som får spelaren att fortsätta spela och hur elementen kan analyseras med hjälp av MDA och AARRR ramverken.

Denna studie utgörs av ett explorativt experiment. Det som har legat i fokus för denna studie har varit att mäta attityd gentemot varumärkes produkter. Eftersom det har skett genom experiment har det centrala varit att se hur attityden påverkas. Studien använder sig av vissa teorier kring varumärken som råd och tips i upplägget av experimentet. En av hypoteserna som ställdes i studien var att positiv beskrivning av varumärkes produkter ger högre utfall i värderandet och viljan att äga produkten än neutral beskrivning.
