Det a?r av stor vikt att va?rdpersonalen arbetar fo?rebyggande fo?r att motverka uppkomsten av trycksa?r samt att i god tid uppta?cka om ett trycksa?r har uppsta?tt.Syftet med denna studie var att underso?ka trycksa?rsincidens efter la?ngvarig neurokirurgisk kirurgi, identifiera vart trycksa?ren uppsta?r och om de kunde kopplas till riskfaktorer.Metoden som valdes var en kvantitativ prospektiv kohortstudiedesign fo?r att resultatet skulle kunna anva?ndas i den peroperativa och postoperativa omva?rdnaden. Hudkostymen inspekterades tva? ga?nger postoperativt pa? tjugoen patienter.Resultatet visade att 76 % av studiedeltagarna hade trycksa?r efter operation och det vanligaste fo?rekommande omra?det var ha?larna.

Intranets can streamline workflow processes, improve communication and add value to the employees of an organization. Companies that don?t take advantage of the potential in their intranet is a common phenomenon. In connection with a migration project dealing with a switch of content management system it turned out that SAS Technical Services lacked clear objectives and strategies for the use of their intranet. Thereby they didn?t make the most of the possibilities an intranet brings.The work with this thesis began with collecting the experiences the company could take with them from the migration project.

Bakgrund: Promotion av hälsa och prevention av ohälsa är en av många viktiga uppgifter för hälso- och sjukvården. Sekundärprevention efter akut kranskärlssjukdom innebär åtgärder för att både på kort och lång sikt minska död, återinsjuknade och fortsatt sjukdomsprocess. Förändringar i levnadsvanor påverkar oftast flera riskfaktorer samtidigt. För personer med känd livsstilsrelaterad sjukdom betonar Socialstyrelsen i ?Nationella riktlinjer för sjukdomsförebyggande metoder? att sjukvården ska erbjuda rådgivande samtal kring ohälsosamma levnadsvanor och att det är en betydelsefull uppgift för hela vårdkedjan.

This essay investigates the relationship between Mildred and her daughter Veda in James M. Cains novel Mildred Pierce (1941). The purpose of the investigation is to point out how the relationship is portrayed in the film from 1945, and the TV-series from 2011. To facilitate the analysis I apply adaptation theorist Thomas Leicht?s list of ten different adaptation strategies to conclude the possible effects these strategies may have had on the relationship portrait and the themes of the novel.

The aim of this study is to analyse the sexual power relations in contemporary urban novels of Swedish female writers.I have identified a discourse in these novels as a heteronormative matrix which power is ruled by norms and assumptions about normality in both the heterosexual and lesbian stories. For this purpose I have related to Ivar B. Neumanns theory that individuals always find a way to confront the discourse by three different strategies. These strategies are used in my study as tools to organise these novels, because it is possible to see that the protagonists find at least one of these strategy?s to her protest.The first strategy I studied was the docile.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out how educationalists who are currently working in school-environments feel about antibullyingprograms. Do they think that the programs are working and do they feel that the measures that they use work as planned? The reason why I choose to investigate this topic is that it will always be at topic interesting to study. Bullying will unfortunately always exist in some way. The whole survey is made in a small/medium seized municipality in Sweden with about 12 000 inhabitants.

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to increase the knowledge of which strategies students with reading and writing disabilities or dyslexia use to learn in secondary school. The study aims to examine the following questions:Which coping strategies do students with reading and writing disabilities use in their studies?How can remedial teachers support students with reading and writing disabilities in their learning process?The study consists of two interviews with a total of three hours recorded material made with a secondary school teacher who teaches Swedish and English. The teacher has experiences of reading and writing disabilities herself but also from teaching students with dyslexia. The interviews are constructed into a lifestory describing experiences of reading and writing disabilities in school, during teacher training and as a teacher.

Bakgrund: Ett av de prioriterade områdena inom hälso- och sjukvården är att stärka hälsoinriktningen och det sjukdomsförebyggande arbetet. Sverige har länge legat i framkant med medicinsk prevention, men inte kommit lika långt när det gäller det prevention i form av livsstilsförändringar. Dans är en mångdimensionell form av fysisk aktivitet som förutom motion och rörelse innehåller beröring, social interaktion och musik. Dans skulle därmed kunna ha goda effekter på hälsa. Syfte: Att beskriva dansens möjligheter som omvårdnadsåtgärd genom att belysa vilken effekt dans kan ha på välbefinnande och fysisk funktionsförmåga.

Bakgrund: Förändringar i vår livsstil har lett till att diabetes typ 2 har blivit en global epidemi. Att försöka förändra beteendet och motivera patienter med diabetes typ 2 till egenvård är en central del av diabetesvården. Syfte: Beskriva olika tillvägagångssätt för sjuksköterskan att motivera patienter med diabetes typ 2 till livsstilsförändringar. Metod: En litteraturstudie baserad på 13 artiklar har gjorts. Artiklarna hittades via databaserna CINAHL och PubMed samt via manuell sökning varpå de analyserades och kvalitetsgranskades.

Osteoporos är en sjukdom som under de senaste decennierna ökat. I Sverige inträffar det cirka 70 000 osteoporosrelaterade benbrott varje år. Den största gruppen som drabbas är kvinnor efter menopaus. Syftet var att belysa faktorer som är av betydelse för prevention av osteoporos och osteoporosrelaterade frakturer hos postmenopausala kvinnor. Metoden var en systematisk litteraturstudie bestående av 10 vetenskapliga artiklar varav 9 baserade på kvantitativ och en på kvalitativ forskning.

The subject of this dissertation is the autobiographical novel Arnold by the Swedish writer Emilia Fogelklou (1878-1972). By combining Gérard Genette?s narratology and Andrew Gibson?s narrative ethics this study seeks to examine through what means the relationship is being told and with what ethical consequences different strategies are used to tell one?s experiences from life. The narrative analysis focuses on how the narrator is engaged in the narrative, how the bond between narrator and characters can be described, what is known to whom and how, and what is beyond the narrative?s limits.

This work is meant to contribute to the research of adaptation studies by focusing on a special case: the transformation of a fictional diary into a movie. In order to sustain the form of the literary source the adaptation to movie requires certain strategies. Först of all, the diary genre is characterized by a one-dimensional narration. Second, diaries only supply a few written dialogues, hence this "void" has to be compensated and filled by media specific measures. Third, the investigated diary is a story of individualization and emancipation of a single woman.

Bakgrund: Stress är ett växande folkhälsoproblem som kostar samhället stora summor pengar och många källor till stress kan återfinnas på en arbets- plats. Stress kan förebyggas genom preventivt arbete och för en sjuk- gymnast finns det många olika sätt att angripa arbetsrelaterad stress. Syfte: Att i form av en litteraturstudie beskriva preventiv sjukgymnastik och dess effekter vid arbetsrelaterad stress utifrån signifikant förbättring och evidens. Metod: Empiriska artiklar publicerade år 1994 eller senare söktes i databaserna AMED, Cinahl, Cochrane Library, Ergonomics Abstracts, MEdline och PEDro. Åtta artiklar inkluderades och evidensgraderades.

The purpose of this study is to examine how primary school teachers work with the oral communicative ability of students who are quiet or unwilling to communicate freely in the classroom. This study aims to answer the question: which methods and strategies are most beneficial for the quiet students and how do teachers discover and assess these students?A qualitative method using semi-structured interviews will be used as the primary means of answering this question. The purpose of these interviews is to document the teachers? experiences working with quiet students.It appears that the teachers interviewed have or have had quiet students in their classes.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how students in higher education use talking books. This has been inves-tigated through qualitative interviews with nine students. The intention has been to find out how they use talk-ing books and why they have chosen to do it in the way they have, looking specifically on whether there are strategies shared by most of the interviewees.As a theoretical basis of the thesis I have chosen a study, described by Sigrid Hongset, where dyslectic pu-pils tried using printed text and text on tape, as well as both simultaneously. George Kingsley Zipfs ?Principle of least effort? will act as a supplemental theory.The interviews show that the students use talking books in different ways.
