The aim of this thesis is to contribute to a better understanding of the FRA-law. The focus of the study is to examine how Swedish politicians relate to the new draft of this law on intelligence. Key themes in the study are security, threats, surveillance and privacy. The power relationship between the individual and the state is also examined. Empirical data used in this study consists of a spoken plenary debate in the House which was held in connection with the adoption of the FRA law in June 2008.

Since the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) was adopted in 1979 there has been evident progress in the area of women's rights in great parts of the world, although this progress is still foremost concentrated to the Westernhemisphere. In Argentina, the work with gender equality and women's rights set of strongly during the last decade. The country has ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and the Inter-American Convention on the Prevention, Punishmentand Eradication of Violence against Women "Convention of Belem Do Para" but still women and girls are victims of structural discrimination and serious impunity of their rights on a daily basis.The current situation proves that the positive changes within the context of international and national law do not necessary reach out to the population to the same extent. In the light of the lacking popular involvement and knowledge of their rights, a different type of solution is desirable. Therefore it would be of interest to examinate the role of Non Governmental Organisations (NGO:s) when it comes to implementing human rights in the society and ?the every day life?.

This thesis describes possibilities for Metso Paper to lower their costs of spray pipes for their pulp wash press TRPE, with maintained good functionality and quality.Information that can be used by competitors has been censored in this version of the essay.To find solutions, alternative suppliers have been contacted and asked to quote. There has also been a new spray pipe designed. The manufacturing costs of the new design have been calculated.The thesis also contains a concept generation of an alternative product to the spray pipes in installations where a high pressure washer is used.To be able to ask other manufacturers of spray pipes to quote, a demand specification based on the currently used spray pipe was made. This was then sent to two alternative suppliers.An investigation of earlier used spray pipes, and the currently used, shows that the nozzles are a big part of the total costs of the spray pipes. To attempt to reduce the nozzles high cost an concept generation was made to find the best solution for a new design.There was a request that it should be possible to change the internal brushes in the spray pipe without cutting and welding.

The main purpose of this paper is to examine how the regulatory environment of ?equality plans" are implemented at the municipal level of decision making in the school environment - in terms of both local politicians, school structures and management by teachers.The paper will present how the implementation theory works in practice by examining two high schools in the Municipality of Norrkoping and see what differences exist in the implementation process of "equality plans" in schools with a variety of high and relatively low immigrant background among students.We will present how it seems from different perspectives. Are teachers today controlled by public professional ethics or personal reasons, where those street level bureaucrats mainly act on feeling depending on the case? And how might this affect the law? Do they in fact understand, or have the knowledge and the willingness to implement?In our study, we are using a comparative case study method with an interview guide. A comparison between the two school´s equality plan have been analyzed where we have developed key differences and similarities that we recognized regarding the subject.The results of the study demonstrate that the context is very crucial to addressing these issues.

Inadequate time for the mealmight provide degenerative consequences for individual health and generate outgoingsfor society. The aim of this study was that from an individual perspective describe workenvironment conditions for meals and recovery potential among employees withirregular working hours using mixed methods with both questionnaire and interviews.Four (4) airline employees participated.

Sjuksköterskor som vårdar cancersjuka barn har höga krav på sig. De ska fungera som ett stöd till både patienten och till patientens anhöriga. Barnen de vårdar är även sjukare än andra barn. De många kraven sjuksköterskan har på sig kan leda till stress. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva hur vårdandet av cancersjuka barn kan påverka sjuksköterskan med avseende på upplevelse av stress.

In Sweden the real estate sector accounts for 33 % of energy consumption and just below 10 % of the emission of carbon dioxide. As a consequence of the external pressure from climate change it?s in everybody?s interest to reduce the energy consumption and thus reduce the emission of carbon dioxide. An additional incentive to reduce the energy consumption is the substantial increase of the energy price since the deregulation of the electricity market in 1996.In this study the techniques that exist to build multi-storey residential buildings with high energy performance will be investigated. Further the study intends to investigate the optimal energy performance from a real estate economic perspective.In order to investigate the optimal energy performance a model has been created with the parameters investment cost, rental revenues, operation and maintenance cost, discount rate and investment horizon.The result shows a relationship between a high investment cost and a high energy performance for newly constructed multi-storey residential buildings.

Denna uppsats består av en litteraturöversikt och två kvantitativa studier om män och transpersoner som säljer sexuella tjänster till andra män. Den första delen presenterar forskning om män som säljer sexuella tjänster till män i allmänhet och kring behovet av förebyggande åtgärder mot hiv och STI i synnerhet. Del två är en analys av män som säljer sexuella tjänster och deras inställning och praxis när det gäller säkrare sex. Analysen bygger på material från MSM (Män som har sex med män) enkäten som genomfördes 2006. Denna studie visar att män som säljer sex har betydligt högre risk-beteende än andra män som har sex med män. Detta visar på behovet av hiv-prevention i den grupp av män som säljer sexuella tjänster.

Övervikt och fetma hos barn är ett växande problem i många delar av världen och innebär ett stort hot mot folkhälsan. Syftet med studien är att beskriva faktorer som inverkar i förebyggandet av övervikt och fetma hos barn.En litteratursökning utfördes i databasen Cinahl. Dessa sökningar gav elva artiklar vilket resultatet har baserats på. Studien har en deskriptiv design.De faktorer som har en förebyggande inverkan rörande övervikt och fetma hos barn var empowerment, sociala aspekter, föräldrarnas roll, kosten, träning och skärmtid. Att ge barnen bekräftelse och den kunskap som behövdes för att kunna vara medbestämmande i sin vård var av stor betydelse.

Denna studies syfte var att undersöka hälsokoordinatorernas beredskap och upplevda kompetens att arbeta med alkoholriskbruk i primärvården i Landstinget i Kalmar Län och hur de upplevde arbetet. Metodansatsen som användes var triangulering, där enkäter skickades till alla hälsokoordinatorer i länet. Därefter utfördes semistrukturerade, kvalitativa intervjuer med tre strategiskt utvalda hälsokoordinatorer Det användes deskriptiv metod för enkäterna och innehållsanalys för intervjuerna. Resultatet var att arbetet med riskbruk av alkohol var ett känsligt område där hälsokoordinatorerna upplevde att de främsta hindrande faktorerna var brist på utbildning och instruktioner på hur det rent praktiskt skulle arbetas med riskbruk av alkohol. Utbildningsnivån stod inte i proportion till beredskapen att arbeta med frågan.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to describe various methods of treatment and effects of treatment of ADHD, and to investigate wheater there is an association between adults with ADHD and obesity. Method:  Literature review. Twelve quantitative scientific articles were found in the data bases PubMed, Cinahl and MedLine.  Result: ADHD is a cognitive impairment that can lead to serious complications such as obesity. Studies show that drug treatments of adults with ADHD have positive effects in terms of reduced symptoms, increased efficiency and improved quality of life, but drugs can also cause side effects in form of loss of appetite and insomnia. For adults with ADHD and obesity drugs that affect metabolism have a significant impact on patients ability to lose weight.

Introduction: The complexity of the neonates? way of expressing pain is a difficulttask for the pediatric nurse. The Swedish national guidelines for prevention and treatmentof pain in the newborn infant is suggesting that departments regularly use structuredmethods, such as pain assessment instrument, for the assessment of pain in the neonatalperiod. Previous research shows that pain assessment instruments are only used in abouthalf of all pain assessments in Sweden. Neonate's cannot verbally communicate their pain,and are therefore dependent on the pediatric nurse to acknowledge the pain.

Bakgrund: Promotion och prevention är en del i det hälsofrämjande arbetet och ökad fysisk aktivitet är en av åtgärderna till bättre hälsa och förebyggande av folkhälsosjukdomar. Evidens för att använda fysisk aktivitet mot kroniska sjukdomar är hög, men siffror pekar på att Sveriges befolkning inte är tillräckligt fysiskt aktiva. Syfte: Syftet med studien var att undersöka upplevd hälsa och fysisk aktivitets nivå samt intresset för fysisk aktivitet i hemmiljö med coaching av legitimerade sjukgymnaster Metod: Undersökningsgruppen var män och kvinnor i åldern 18-60(+) år som valdes ut bland befolkningen i Norrbotten. Datainsamling gjordes via en kort enkät och personer rekryterades via företag, föreningar och universitet. I studien ingick 108 deltagare och det var en jämn fördelning mellan män och kvinnor.

The majority of the data comes from qualitativ interviews with persons in the industry.Conclusion: The music festivals in Sweden are acting under a constant economic pressure which leads to an experienced need for a larger workforce - mosty non-profit. The result of this study shows that the larger workforces are both unmotivated and decreases the effeciency of the work. The study aims to highlight the diffrenses between non-profit and commersial festivals and the way they work with human resource management and personal in different levels of the organization..
