To fulfill the climate target that EU and the Swedish government have decided to apply, it becomes increasingly important that the energy efficiency of existing buildings and making new buildings energy efficient as possible. Of Sweden?s total energy consumption in 2011 was 40% used by residential and service. Of the 40% of the energy consumption was 60% used for heating and domestic hot water. A report from year 2012 shows that one reason why the heating volume is so great could be due to underestimating on the energy consumption for the heating in the planning of the building.

Today?s climate changes will probably give rise to precipitation in Sweden, which will cause more floods in Swedish rivers. Many of the Swedish rivers are regulated and have lots of hydro-electro power plants. Higher floods in the rivers will give greater water loads on the dams, which mean that a higher discharge through the sluice gates and in the spillway channels is needed. High discharge of water in a spillway channel can create scour of the material in the channel.

There is a growing awareness that multinational companies have opportunities to influence political conditions. Ethical activities made by multinational companies and ?Corporate Social Responsibility? (CSR) can therefore function as a positive input in society. The primary purpose of this master thesis is to investigate CSR´s contribution to strengthen human rights, and thereby to democratization. The research questions are listed below:1.

The purpose of the work is to analyze and balance an assembly line at Fläkt Woods in Jönköping. The work is going to answer the questions about today?s throughput time, how much waste that occurs, number of staff at the assembly line, how the supply of material works and possible improvements that can be made at the work stations. The work is also going to give a proposal of improve-ments that can be made.The methods used to get the result include observations and measurements, con-versations with technicians and operators and also data from Fläkt Woods? data-base.Large variations in throughput time are measured during the measure period, from 3 hours up to 5 hours and 35 minutes.

The Swedish wolf population is like continue to grow and this will eventually lead to an increase in the predation of livestock. In Sweden carnivore attacks happen most frequent on sheep farms and the majority of these attacks are performed by wolves. Because of this, the main focus in this study is on the sheep and wolf problematic. It is not only the direct killing of livestock that affects the animals and their owners in a negative way. It has also been shown that livestock that lives close to carnivores sometimes change their behaviour in a way that will affect their ability to reproduce and to forage efficiently.

Syftet med föreliggande beskrivande litteraturstudie var att beskriva och sammanställa bidragande faktorer som påverkar patientens följsamhet till de egenvårdsråd som ges av sjuksköterskan gällande bensårsbehandlingen. Syftet var även att sammanställa vilken kvalitet inkluderade artiklar hade samt vilken relevans urvalet hade för inkluderade artiklars resultat. Artikelsökningen ägde rum i databaserna PubMed och Chinal, sökorden som användes var ?leg ulcer?, ?compliance? och ?nursing?. Resultatet baserades på tio artiklar där fyra artiklar hade hög kvalitet, fem artiklar hade medel kvalitet och en artikel hade låg kvalitet.

In order to investigate the perceived Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concept and to indentify what expectations the key stakeholders have on the Pharmaceutical Industry both secondary and primary data has been used. CSR can be perceived as a corporate reputation enhancing tool, however it can also put pressure on corporations to behave as good corporate citizen responsible for thier stakeholders. These individuals and groups of individuals are called stakeholders. This study in concerned with the importance of a company?s awereness of and relationship with which stakeholders surround them. The fact that more companies show awareness of responsible conduct, in particular of the environment and social aspects of management may be a way to build a strong corporate image.

There are no reliable, objective and simple methods today for measuring pain in horses. The purpose of this study was to evaluate and describe measuring of mechanical nociceptive threshold (MNT) values with a pressure algometer in clinically pain free riding horses at the riding school of Strömsholm. In this study there were 24 horses. Tape recording and electromyelografi (EMG) was used in an attempt to increase objectivity in the examination. MNT increased with age, however sex and colour had no influence.

I denna systematiska litteraturstudie analyseras och beskrivs sjuksköterskans förebyggande(prevention), undervisande och rådgivande funktion i att stödja (promotion) patienter medsjukdomen diabetes typ 2 och i att förhindra (protection) att komplikationer uppstår. I Sverigefinns cirka 365 000 personer som har en diagnostiserad diabetes typ 2 och ungefär lika mångaberäknas ha sjukdomen oupptäckt och odiagnostiserad. Förekomsten av diabetes ökarlavinartat i hela världen just nu. Ökningen kommer att få stora hälsoekonomiska konsekvenserför olika länders sjukvård och samhällen. Då diabetes är en kronisk livslång sjukdom krävsdet i framtiden ökade kunskaper för att möta den utmaning som den pågående utbredningenav sjukdomen utgör.Syftet med denna studie var att söka kunskap utifrån aktuell forskning mellan åren 2005-2009om sjuksköterskans undervisande och rådgivande funktion angående egenvård i samband meddiabetes typ 2, hur uppkomst av fotsår förhindras samt undervisningens effekter.Datamaterialet (10 inkluderade studier) analyserades och sammanställdes.Studiens resultat visade att undervisning i egenvård inte är patient eller individbaserad, attfotkomplikationer inte förebyggs tillräckligt, att det föreligger starkt samband mellanutbildning och livskvalitet samt att sjuksköterskan behöver öka sin pedagogiska kompetens..

Syfte med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva och sammanställa patientens upplevelse av att få information från sjuksköterskor angående egenvård vid venösa bensår .Artiklarna söktes på databaserna Medline och Cinahl. Sökorden som användes var leg ulcer, information, experience, self-care. Resultatet inkluderade elva artiklar där åtta hade kvalitativ ansats, två hade kvantitativ ansats och en hade både kvalitativ och kvantitativ ansats. Patienternas upplevelser av att få information varierade. En del var positiva till informationen på grund av sitt förtroende för sjuksköterskan.

Background: The most common reason for veterinary care in horses is lameness. Lameness in riding horses is often difficult to evaluate and in many cases may require riding to come to a diagnosis. Evaluation of lameness has proven to be very subjective and depends on the examiner. There is a need to evaluate ridden horses in an objective way.

Bakgrund: Vid omvårdnad av personer med bensår är det lätt att lägga fokus på bensåret med risk för att den subjektiva upplevelsen kan komma i skymundan. Därför kan det vara viktigt att belysa patienters upplevelser ur ett holistiskt perspektiv. I tidigare forskning har det framkommit att livskvaliteten påverkas negativt där smärta visat sig vara en betydelsefull faktor. Syfte: Att ur ett livskvalitetsperspektiv belysa personers upplevelse av att leva med svårläkt bensår. Metod: En litteraturöversikt baserad på 10 vetenskapliga artiklar med kvalitativ ansats.

Fagerström Industrikonsult AB är ett ingenjörsföretag som har specialiserat sig på mekaniska och mekatroniska produkter inom flera branchområden. Ett av företagets tidigare projekt, som bland annat bygger på tryckbärande kärl och som kommer återanvändas för ett nytt projekt, är i behov av en uppdaterad analys mot utmattningsbrott.För att en tryckbärande utrustning skall kunna säljas och användas inom Europa, måste tillverkarna följa det Europeiska direktivet 97/23/EG, även kallat PED-direktiv. Detta direktiv sätter regler för konstruktion, tillverkning, märkning och kontroll. I Sverige finns denna beskrivning i Arbetsmiljöverkets författnings-samling (AFS 1999:4 2011).
