Detta arbete har utförts hos utvecklingsgruppen inom Gargnäs Elteknik AB. Gruppen har tagit fram ett kommunikationssystem för gruvhissar där man förmedlar data och röst, Cagecom. Min första uppgift blev att sammanställa dokumentationen för alla delprojekt. Jag har gjort en webb-presentation av Cagecom som kommer att ligga på deras hemsida. För att ladda programvara till Cagecom använder man sig av ett dumpprogram.

Telia Research AB forskar i människans framtida behov av tjänster gällande telekommunikation. Examensarbetet mynnar ut i en applikation för en framtida tjänst som presenteras i en mobilterminal. Meningen med examensarbetet var bland annat att visa på olika utvecklingsverktyg som kan uppnå vissa kriterier vid presentation av en karta i en mobilterminal även kallad PDA, Personal Digital Assistant. Kriterierna var bland annat att kartapplikationen skulle kunna kopplas till en databas var information om geografisk position finns. Funktioner och verktyg som kan tänkas finnas i en applikation kan vara positionering, zoomning, informationsverktyg och ett digitaliseringsverktyg som ger möjlighet att lagra en geografisk punkt med koppling till punktens personliga attribut.

Intentionen med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka och lyfta fram de förändringar, som utifrån informationshanteringen, kan uppstå när mobila enheter implementerats för fältarbetande personal inom skogsnäringen. Fokus läggs på den information som förmedlas mellan fältarbetande personal och den information som finns lagrad inom verksamheten. Förändringar vi har undersökt är insamling, bearbetning, lagring, överföring, presentation, tillgänglighet, aktualitet och korrekthet. Title: Creating meetings - a study in interactionism and creating music. In this study I had my focus on teenagers in a school class. My aim was to explore how pupils experience the processes of creating music together and how they choose to organize their interactions during these creative processes. As analytical tools I used sociological and sociopedagogical concepts and theories. Interactionism provided models toward individualization as well as socialization, related to learning, knowledge and creativity.

The purpose of the study was to review the current veterinary literature regarding gastric dilatation and volvulus (GDV) considering pathophysiology and treatment, and to evaluate the operative technique (incisional gastropexy) used during the years 2005 and 2006 at the University Animal Hospital (Universitetsdjursjukhuset), SLU, Uppsala, Sweden. GDV has a complicated pathophysiology which foremost effects the circulatory system. Progress is often acute and it is not unusual that patients are affected with shock. The initial treatment targets to alleviate the shock by fluid therapy and decompression of the stomach. There is a high risk of recurrence in the long term perspective unless the stomach is surgically fixated by gastropexy. The study describes two different techniques for gastropexy; incisional gastropexy, and funduspexy. Long term complications were rare among the patients that were treated surgically, while about half out of the eighteen dogs that undergo surgery do experience complications of various severity in the short term..

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att få en inblick och en förståelse för hur pedagoger arbetar med bilderböcker på förskolan. Genom en kvantitativ enkät bestående av sex slutna och två öppna frågor ville vi undersöka hur pedagoger på åtta olika förskolor arbetade med barn och bilderböcker. För att studien inte skulle bli för vid, valde vi att rikta oss mot pedagoger som arbetar med tre- till femåringar.Den forskning som vi tagit del av visar tydligt hur betydelsefullt bilderboksanvändandet är för barns språk- och läsutveckling. Genom att använda bilderböcker som ett pedagogiskt redskap stärker vi barns språk till exempel genom att öka deras ordförråd och ordförståelse. The essay investigates the possibility that the coatings can be used as a protective layer that will reduce or prevent wear on selected parts of the naval powertrains. Syftet med denna studie är att belysa för- och nackdelar med polisens användning av GPS-positionering av polisfordon. Det polisiära GPS-systemet beskrivs, effektivitetsvinster, organisatoriska vinster och säkerhetsmässiga fördelar belyses. Vidare diskuteras i vad mån integriteten påverkas vid användningen av systemet. Polisens GPS-enhet är integrerad i polisens radiosystem Aurora C-52 och ger en automatisk positionering av polisfordon med presentation på kommunikationscentralens karta.
