De flesta skolor i Sverige använder konventionella metoder när det gäller läs- och skrivinlärning, det vill säga papper och penna som främsta verktyg. Men tekniken utvecklas och samhället förändras. I denna studie undersöker vi hur datorn kan användas som pedagogiskt verktyg i undervisning. Av den anledningen har vi valt att undersöka en läs- och skrivstrategi med datorn framtagen av den norske pedagogen Arne Trageton i hans bok Att skriva sig till läsning. IKT i förskoleklass och skola (2005).

På sjukhus i Sverige arbetar sjuksköterskor på neonatalavdelningar med att ta hand om de allra minsta barnen och deras speciella behov. Barnen är i behov av specialistsjukvård, ibland intensivvårdskrävande med högteknologisk utrustning, samtidigt som de behöver påbörja den viktiga anknytningen till sin familj. Sjuksköterskor behöver specialkompetens för att arbeta i den krävande vårdmiljön, där de skall ta hand om ett vårdkrävande barn samt familjen till barnet och arbeta familjecentrerat. Syftet med studien var att belysa sjuksköterskors erfarenhet av att arbeta med familjecentrerad neonatalvård. Fokusgruppsintervjuer genomfördes som senare analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Den språkliga medvetenheten börjar utvecklas så snart en människa har förmåga att ta intryck från omvärlden och utvecklas genom samtal,språklekar och sagor. Språklig medvetenhet är en förutsättning för att kunna lära sig läsa och skriva. Läsutvecklingen sker i flera steg och startar långt innan den verkliga läsningen. Jag ville genom mitt examensarbete få veta mera om hur jag som lärare kan hjälpa barn att lära sig läsa och skriva. Det är en nödvändig kunskap i mitt framtida yrkesliv som lärare.

With an increased empowerment of the users, and a dependence on outside critics, one wonders what kind of role the librarians have in a context where qualitative literature is discussed. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between librarians private and professional views on qualitative fiction, in order to be able to discuss their role as quality intermediaries in a user oriented context.The method used, is the qualitative, semistructured interview. This author interviewed seven librarians from three different libraries in Sweden. The theoretical emphasis partly relies on the ten words of qualitative value that Inger Elam and Bengt Brülde discusses in their respective texts, partly on David Garvins quality assessment theory, which defines several quality categories divided between an absolute and a relative quality view.Through the comparison between the private and the professional quality view, examined with the two theoretical approaches, the analysis of the interview material shows that there lies a complexity in the librarians professional role. On the one hand, they are dependent of both the users and the critics judgements about the qualitative aspect in the work with purchasing new literature to the library.

Examensarbetet undersöker den nya versionen av affärssystemet Microsoft Dynamics AX R2 2012 och dess plattform Commerce Runtime och analyserar dessa ur perspektiven arkitektur och kommunikationsmöjligheter. Examensarbetet undersöker systemets arkitektur och implementerar tre metoder för att visa upp kommunikationen mellan komponenterna i systemet. Undersökningen avgränsar sig dock till de områden av systemet och plattformen som har med butikslösningen att göra. Undersökningen går hand i hand med implementationen. Implementeringen sker löpande under arbetet för att säkerställa att undersökningen stämmer.

The question of direct citizen participation in politics and administration is a contestable one. Its proponents claim that it has positive consequences even for the more "traditional", representative democracy, since participation leads to an increased political knowledge and increased political interest, and thus creates a revitalised democracy. Critical voices have however been raised to the validity of this claim. Critics have also pointed out direct participation as problematic, because it leads to problems of political inequality: a difference of political influence between ? on the one hand, the citizens participating directly and those that restrict their political participation to voting, and ? on the one the other hand ? between the institutions, for example schools, that employ, and don?t employ this method of direct citizen influence.In this essay, these two points of criticisms are tested in the context of user-boards in elementary and secondary schools.

Matematiken har i den reviderade läroplanen för förskolan lyfts fram och fått en mer betydande roll och matematik finns överallt i förskolans värld. För barn går lek och lärande hand i hand och något som ingår i en helhet och som inte ska ses som två enskilda aktiviteter. I den fria leken tar barn med sig sina tidigare erfarenheter och gör dem möjliga att förstå. Här har förskollärarna i uppdrag att synliggöra och utmana barnen i deras matematiska lärande.Syftet med denna undersökning var att bland annat ta reda vad matematik i förskolan innebär för förskollärarna men framförallt deras syn på matematiken i sandlådan samt hur de förhåller sig till barns matematiska lärande i sandlådan. För att kunna ta reda på detta intervjuade vi fem förskollärare och använde oss av kvalitativa intervjuer som hjälpte oss att få fram respondenternas tankar kring detta ämne.Barn möter matematik överallt i förskolans verksamhet och det handlar om så mycket mer än plus och minus.

This master?s degree project concerns the combination of a multi dwelling passive house with solar energy for the generation of electricity and domestic hot water (DHW). Different alternatives with either solar thermal systems or photovoltaic (PV) systems are compared with two reference alternatives producing DHW from electricity or district heating. The economical comparison uses a life cycle cost (LCC) perspective based on the present value of expenditures for investment, energy and annual operating and maintenance.The energy yields from the solar energy systems were calculated by hand and with simulation software. Calculation and dimensioning of PV systems were carried out with a software called PVSYST.

The aim of this Masters´ thesis is to examine parenthood, gender and equality. The analysis is based on the novel Bitterfittan. The primary theoretical points of departure are Judith Butler?s theory about doing gender and Yvonne Hirdman?s theory about the gender system, the hierarchical order and the separation of the sexes. I use Lisbeth Bekkengen?s thesis in which the nuclear family is seen as an institution which is upheld by two structures; that is the social relationships man-woman and parent-child, and also by two discourses; on the one hand a notion that fathers and mothers are principally different and on the other hand the child focus.

Konsumtion av mode har gått från att tillfredsställa våra grundläggande behov till att vara ett sätt att uttrycka identitet, status och grupptillhörighet. Behoven möts genom mode, det går dock att ifrågasätta huruvida behoven är möjliga att tillfredsställa. Vår empiriska studie visar att unga kvinnors konsumtion av mode främst handlar om att uttrycka identitet, att belöna sig själv och att känna ett stärkt självförtroende. Mode är ett sätt att uttrycka sin personlighet. I uppsatsen diskuteras huruvida unga kvinnors konsumtion av mode går hand i hand med fast fashion konceptet.

The aim of this study was to increase the knowledge of possibilities and obstacles for disabled people to meet a partner. The ambition was to know more about wishes for and needs of professional or other support. The methods have been literature studies, survey research, and interviews. A simple questionnaire was sent to administrative staff and social welfare officers who gave the information that they experienced those persons with intellectual disability or Aspergers syndrome had asked for support to meet a partner. To get a perspective from inside six semi structured interviews were made with disabled people having experience of relationships, love affairs.

The design of the building envelope affects the energy consumption of a building. As the energy requirements for new buildings are becoming more demanding, the performance of the building envelope must be improved. Energy efficiency and durability are important attributes to consider.This report includes investigations of the building envelope, moisture and passive solar energy. It is based on the analysis of two different buildings with different designs. These buildings stand as reference for two of the companies who are working on a new, climate smart, residential area in Uppsala, Sweden.Studies and analyses on energy consumption and moisture transportation were made.

Vårt syfte med studien var att få och skapa förståelse för hur pedagogerna i en förskoleklass förstår och uppfattar arbetet med konflikthantering för att främja elevers trygghet och lärande. De forskningsfrågor vi arbetat utefter har varit: Vilka konflikter upplever pedagogerna finns i deras verksamhet? Hur arbetar pedagogerna förebyggande och aktivt med konflikter/konflikthantering? Uttrycker pedagogerna ett behov av utveckling inom området konflikthantering, vad i så fall? Vilken samhörighet upplever pedagogerna mellan konflikt, trygghet och lärande? Studien är byggd av forskning och litteratur samt en intervju i form av ett kollektivt kvalitativt lärande samtal med tre verksamma pedagoger. Det vår studie visar är att pedagogerna uppfattar arbetet med konflikthantering svårt, då det dagligen uppstår mycket konflikter i verksamheten och de upplever sig sakna de rätta verktygen för att kunna handskas med dem på ett konstruktivt sätt. I den dagliga verksamheten arbetar pedagogerna förebyggande och aktivt med konflikter.

This study is about care managers, who process in the care of the elderly, regarding to needs, rules, regulations, guidelines and their freedom of space. The purpose with this study is to understand how the care managers process out of the basis from the needs of the elderly, the municipal guidelines in relation to the caremanagers freedom of space.The study has a qualitative approach and is based on semistructured interviews with five different care managers.To analyze our interview material we have use the street-level bureaucrat theory by Lipsky and Johansson and the theoretical idea empowerment. Before we started our research about care managers we had an understanding in that the organization had an influence in the judgment of the needs of the elderly. Now we have an understanding in that the relative to the elderly is the one who wants to affect the care manager during the judgment of needs in what effort to make. Our study indicates that it exist insecurity regarding to the municipal guidelines, which was surprising. We thought that the guideline was something positive and a help full tool for the care managers.The result in our research points out that the guidelines makes insecurity instead of comfort.Our study shows that the care managers are contradictory regarding to their freedom of space. In the other hand they consider that their freedom of space is positive, but on the other hand when the municipal guidelines don´t work, they become worried and insecure.It´s the none working municipal guidelines who gives the care managers a huge freedom of space. Which leads to that the care managers is afraid of doing misjudgments. Our result don´t distinguish from other studies made in this subject area. .

Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva och analysera hur ledarna för Katedralskolan i Växjö arbetar med att motivera medarbetarna vid införandet av en intraprenad. Fokus i denna uppsats är i första hand information och kommunikation ur ett ledarperspektiv men även till viss del utifrån ett medarbetarperspektiv..
