This project consists of an adaptation, trial and evaluation of a model for Practicing. Based on prior research I created a model aiming mainly to raise a musician?s self- awareness around the different parameters a performance consists of. An additional wish was for it to simultaneously assist the musician in monitoring his or her progress. With video recording and self-evaluation as the two main parts I tried the model by using it over a period of three months.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om det finns någon viss ålder då man lär sig att öva,hur det går till, om man övar för någons skull och vad man måste ha lärt sig för att kunna öva.Undersökningen bygger på elva intervjuer med högskolestuderanden på musiklärarprogrammetsom har intervjuats om sin väg till den övning de har idag.Undersökningen visar att resultatet av processen att lära sig öva kommer ganska sent imusikutbildningen samt att de intervjuade studenterna har liknande orsaker till att de börjadeöva mer metodiskt. Orsakerna visade sig vara bland annat sökningar till nya utbildningar, elleren önskan att utvecklas mer på sitt instrument..

The purposes of this literature review were to study how nurses use intuition in health care, how these experiences are described by nurses and if you as a nurse can learn how to use your intuition. We also want to make nurses attentive of and give them the courage to use their intuition. The study is addressed to both nurs-ing students and Practicing nurses. The method is a literature review based on nine scientific articles. The results implicate that nurses use their intuition to know how to do something, when additional measures needs to be done and which measures they are.

This paper follows an analytical and critical line of reasoning concerningindexing and retrieval of music in Swedish public libraries. The focus ofthe discussion is based on the terms included in the subject heading list ofthe Swedish Classification System. The empirical study is performed inthe context of online catalogues in the public libraries of Örebro andGävle. The theoretical background relies on the indexing theory ofProfessor Frederick W. Based on hermeneutic tradition, the goal of this thesis is to further my understanding of what the concept of resistance means in a psychoanalytical context today, primarily within clinical practice. My methodology has been to seek an understanding of the concept of resistance by reading excerpts from the original texts of Sigmund Freud, as well as conducting interviews with Practicing psychoanalysts that focus on how they relate to the notion of resistance. The idea was to then present my understanding of these sources in relation to one another. The results suggest that an understanding of the concept of resistance in a clinical context is highlighted by a dichotomy between theory and practice..

The manor Fållnäs gård is situated at the northern end of the bay Fållnäsviken, c. 12 km north-west of Nynäshamn, Sweden. A 300 cm long sediment core collected in the bay has been analyzed regarding pollen stratigraphy. The study?s purpose is to find out how important cultural competence is for the guidance of people with multicultural backgrounds. I also want to illustrate that what is seen as normal in one culture may mean something different in another culture. The study will also in some extent explore culture clashes and its problems in the guidance context. The method used in the study is qualitative and the five respondents were all Practicing Muslims.

ABSTRACTMusic and differences in knowledge ? a study of music teachers experiences with differences in musical knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to, out of a music teacher?s perspective, see if the differences in music abilities between 7th grade students are at all, or in some ways connected to the previous schools they?ve attended. I will also research in what areas, in the subject of music, students are differing more, as well as less, in their knowledge. The analysis is based on interviews with six 7th grade music teachers working in the Swedish nine-year compulsory school system.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the collaboration between school librarians and teachers in primary school, in order to illustrate how the two professions can work together, how they see their own roles and how they look at the other professionals´ roles. We also discuss earlier studies in LIS concerning collaboration between teachers and librarians. The method of investigation is qualitative interviews with Practicing school librarians and teachers, we interviewed three school librarians and three teachers from three different schools in the same county.  As a basis of the discussion and analysis Andrew Abbott's theory of professions is used. The thesis shows that collaboration differs between the schools.

The aim of this essay is to study and show the contents of the music repertoire that is used in live action role plays in Sweden and study how this repertoire is spread between participants in the culture of live action role playing.Four informants have been chosen and interviewed, three men and one woman of different ages from different places in Sweden. They have all been Practicing live action role playing for some years.Some of the conclusions that can be drawn from this study is that the participants of this hobby culture value music that feels old and contribute to the illusion of another world and time. The music repertoire of the live action role playing culture is filled with this music that gives the participants associations in line with the illusion. That is more important than the real age of the music. Another interesting conclusion is that the participants learn and spread the melodies verbally to each other and only the texts spread on the internet..

Syftet med studien är att utforska hur några utvalda tillvägagångssätt för lärande, förmedlade av ledande slagverkare och slagverkslärare, används av och fungerar för en lärarstudents instudering av ett musikverk. Dessa tre tillvägagångssätt användes för att studera in Concerto for marimba and strings av Emanuel Sejourné.  Ljudinspelningar och loggbok låg till grund för analysen om vad som fungerade bra för mig i min egen övning och hur jag upplevde de olika metoderna under pågående övning. I resultatet framkommer att framförallt trivselfaktorn är en bidragande orsak till ett lyckat övande. Andra viktiga faktorer som redovisas är vikten av att ha kontroll på musiken innan jag som musikutövare börjar öva samt vikten av att öva som en konsert i förebyggande syfte. Avslutningsvis diskuteras arbetets resultat i relation till den presenterade litteraturen och tidigare forskningen inom området..
