Många har tröttnat på traditionell reklam och utvecklingen går mot att finna nya sätt att marknadsföra produkter och varumärken. Produktplacering möjliggör detta genom att väva in produkter som en del av handlingen i vanliga filmer och TVserier. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka det relativt nya fenomenet produktplacering, hur det används idag och hur det kommer att förändras i framtiden. Några av de slutsatser vi dragit är att produktplacering ses som ett nytt och ytterligare sätt att synas på. TV och film har stor Potential att på kort tid öka varumärkeskännedomen för en produkt samtidigt som man får en snabb geografisk spridning genom medierna.

To curb greenhouse gases and mitigate climate change is one of the biggest challenges human society face today. Carbon dioxide (CO2) has accumulated rapidly in the atmosphere as a consequence of burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. The aim of this study is to explore two methods to store carbon dioxide in geological formations and biological sinks. The aim is also to discuss the two mitigation options from a sustainable perspective and whether it can lead to a better environment and benefits for local and global societies. The research questions are: Which method to store carbon dioxide, geological or biological, is the most effective? Which method to store carbon dioxide, geological or biological, has the greatest Potential to promote sustainable development for local communities?The method used is a comparative case study and presents four case studies that explore the Potential for CO2 storage offshore in Norway and Brazil; and in tropical forests in Mexico and Brazil.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka vilka skriftspråkshändelser som sker i meningsfulla och funktionella sammanhang i förskoleklassen och på fritidshemmet. Syftet är även att undersöka vilken utvecklingsPotential det finns i skriftspråkshändelserna som eleverna planerat eller spontant deltar i. Utifrån vårt syfte formulerades följande frågeställningar: Vilka skriftspråkshändelser deltar eleverna i under sin skoldag i förskoleklassen och på fritidshemmet? Vilken Potential finns i dessa skriftspråkshändelser med hänsyn till elevernas skriftspråksutveckling? Vårt empiriska material utgörs av delvis deltagande observationer och en semistrukturerad intervju. Genom observationerna framgår det vilka planerade och spontana skriftspråkshändelser som eleverna deltar i under skoldagen och på fritidshemmet.

Problem definition: By what marketing communications do consumers want companies in the jewelry industry to communicate its Potential CSR activities?Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate in what kinds of marketing communications consumers want the jewelry industry to communicate its Potential CSR work.Method: The study has used a quantitative approach to data collection, focused on a survey to answer the purpose of the study and the problem definitions.Conclusion: The study found that the respondents want a clearer communication of CSR work in the industry and that the most suitable communication channels according to respondents differ depending on gender. The female respondents think that the most appropriate channels are product promotions and direct marketing. In contrast, the male respondents think that the channels social media, newspaper and television advertising as well as web sites are more suitable..

The demand for biogas as vehicle fuel has risen sharply and there is a great need for increased production. A possible addition of vehicle gas can be produced by upgrading landfill gas which is formed by degradation of organic waste. This thesis investigates the Potential of producing vehicle fuel from landfill gas in the region of Biogas Öst.In 2008, an amount of 32 million Nm3 landfill gas was extracted in the region. This level can be maintained for another ten years if the efficiency of gas extraction is improved. The annual production will decrease with time since landfills aren?t allowed to receive more organic waste.

The aim of this study is to investigate and analyze the Potential effects on a number of social workers that may arise from listening to stories of domestic violence, and how these social workers deal with the Potential effects. The study is based on qualitative interviews with seven social workers that work with domestic violence. The theoretical perspective that we used was the theory of coping. The results of this study have indicated that the respondents have been affected of listening to the stories of domestic violence. Examples of different impacts that the work has had on some of the social workers is that they avoid movies and/or books with elements of violence, they are more aware of the domestic violence in the surroundings and there has also been changes in their cognitive schemas.

Meticillin-resistenta Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) har förvärvat resistens mot ?-laktamantibiotika och har länge varit en nosokomial patogen humant. På senare år har infektioner orsakade av MRSA börjat uppträda mer frekvent i samhället och även setts kolonisera och infektera djur. Problematiken kring MRSA hos djuren har framförallt varit sårinfektioner, men även som orsak till kolonisation hos människor i kontakt med dem.

In this report we examine the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology as far as the development has come until today. We adress different use areas and explain the technical funcionality. This paper aims to examine how and to what extent, a transition of Sweden according to the principles of Omställning Sverige (Transition towns Sweden), have the Potential to contribute to a society with increased happiness.The paper is based on a qualitative textual analysis of the key texts in the Swedish Transition towns movement, Omställning Sverige. In the first part of the study the most important transition principles of Omställning Sverige were identified. Four key principles emerged: An altered view of economics, a spiritual change, a stronger local community and increased awareness. These transition principles were then analyzed through the lens of the scientific fields position on happiness, followed by a summarizing conclusion.The altered view of economics which Omställning Sverige advocates, where sustainability and quality of life are priorities over economic growth, is even necessary to secure our basic physiological needs. Such an economy has also improved conditions for economic stability, high employment and higher efficiency in the sense of happiness promoted in relationship to how many natural resources are used.

Electricity production from renewable energy resources such as wind energy and photovoltaics is variable. Integration of these intermittent resources into the electricity system leads to new challenges in how to manage imbalance between supply and demand on the grid.One way to meet these challenges is to develop so-called smart grid solutions. One idea, called demand response, is to adjust the amount or timing of energy consumption, e.g. by control of household appliances, to provide flexibility that could be used to balance the grid. In aggregate, when applied to many units across the system, large volumes of energy could be made available when needed and this grid flexibility can be used as a product on the electricity regulation market.Despite the Potential benefits, the number of demand response bids is currently low.

The purpose of this master thesis is to investigate the influencing factors on the businessPotential of products with health claims, using PrimaLiv as an example. And togive recommendations on how a dairy producer, which is present in the Swedishmarket, could improve the sales rates of products with health claims. We have chosento put a main focus on the consumer, as he or she determines the business Potential.This is an unusual approach since most studies cover the producer?s perspective. Wethereby wish to contribute with new knowledge on the area in question.

Research on the power of customer involvement, and in particular recommendation is very resourceful. Many studies have mapped the reasons for why customers are willing to recommend, however they often ignore Potential differences among brands and how that may affect these reasons. This study is built on a quantitative survey investigating how consumers interact with brands, depending on category affiliation. The categories used were Bhat and Reddy's symbolic and functional, consisting of three brands respectively where each brand represented a different product type.The evolvement of social media has also transformed the platform of recommendation from physical to virtual and changed the way people connect. Thus, taking the investigation further, Potential differences between symbolic and functional brands was tested in different social media platforms.
