The purpose of this study is to increase understanding of how nursing home staff at dementia care facilities interpret, treat and manages sexual behavior of patients. Four group interviews were made with a total of thirteen participants from three different dementia care facilities. The collected material was processed and thematized in pursuance of the research questions of the study. The results were analysed using three concepts from queer theory; heteronormativity, the heterosexual matrix and power, as well as an article about how nursing home staff constructs actions of patients. The results showed that staff member?s assessments about the patient?s sexual behaviours depended on their Posture towards the norm of what is considered to be acceptable.

The Swedish business cycle is in a strong position at the moment, leading to great results and larger profits. This strong business Posture has encouraged companies to increase both their liquidity and revenue. Now there is a dilemma, what actions should or could a respectable business take on these newfound liquid assets.The purpose of this paper is to deliver a clear picture of what options there are for such companies listed on the Swedish stock-market, and how the market wants them to act. To these means we have studied the basic theories linked to this subject and reviewed the cause and effects that motivates them. We have also conducted interviews with the people representing the market through their line of business.In the theory we found several options on what companies in similar situations tend to do.

Choir singing is one of the most popular national movements in Sweden but the knowledge of the meaning of this activity for health and well being from the choir singers? own experiences is limited. The purpose of this study was therefore to develop useful knowledge about the meaning of choir singing for participating persons from a health perspective. The data was collected through qualitative interviews with six different choir singers and went after that through a comprehensive analysis which resulted in four main categories: an oasis in the existence; possibilities of meetings and solidarity; goals and musical development; and physical and emotional well-being. The results showed that the choir activity represents a place where the singers can escape the demands and the stress factors of everyday life and where they get the opportunity of meaningful relations with other people.

Studiens syfte var att analysera effekten av psykodynamiskt inriktad psykoterapi på självbilden för patienter vid S:t Lukas tre mottagningar i Stockholm. De frågor som undersöktes var om självbilden förändrades, hur sådana förändringar samvarierade med bakgrundsfaktorer, om behandlingsländen påverkade utfallet, samt i vilken tsträckning eventuella förändringar hade samband med förändringar i patienternas symtom och med psykoterapeuternas bedömning av besvär.Metoden som användes var kvantitativ och det empiriska underlaget för analys/bearbetning av självbilden utgjordes av SASB självskattningsmaterial samt  CL-90 (GSI).Resultatet av självskattningssvaren visade att patienternas självbild i genomsnitt hade förbättrats i önskvärd riktning för att mer motsvara en normal självbild. De faktorer som kunde predicera förändring i självbild var ålder, civilstånd, boende och barn. Det var de yngre, ensamstående, med eget boende, utan barn som mest förändrade sin självbild i positiv riktning. De samband som konstaterades mellan självbild och symtom pekade på en minskning av symtom med en mer positiv självbild som resultat vid avslutad terapi.

Assessing and measuring post-operative pain in all animals is a challenge, but doing it in small mammals, for example guinea pigs, presents an even larger difficulty. Validated pain scales developed for use in dogs in clinical practice are currently available, but no such scale has been widely accepted for use in guinea pigs in the veterinary setting. In this experimental study, six guinea pigs that had undergone surgery and anaesthesia were observed for behavioural changes that could be associated with pain. The six guinea pigs were also given pain scores with the use of Colorado State University Feline Acute Pain Scale (CSU-APSF), a scale which uses both behaviour when not handled, body tension and response to palpation to evaluate pain intensity. The six guinea pigs showed a number of different behaviours, for example rigid Posture, fixed stare and ?wet dog response? (the body is vigourosly shaken), that could be associated with pain.

Ankyloserande spondylit är en systematisk, inflammatorisk och kronisk sjukdom med ett progressivt förlopp. Typiska symptom är inflammatorisk ryggsmärta, morgonstelhet, perifera artriter, entesiter och extraartikulära symptom. Sjukgymnastik är en viktig del av behandlingen och består till stor del av träning. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka effekterna av sjukgymnastiska behandlingsmetoder som finns dokumenterade vid Ankyloserande spondylit samt att undersöka vilken evidens som finns för dessa. Studien gjordes som en litteraturstudie och sökningar skedde i databaserna PubMed, Cinahl med fulltext, AMED och PEDro.

How a speaker can use their Posture, gesture, facial expression and voice to create a strong ethos, pistis and sense of trustworthiness is, in this paper, associated with charisma (the power of leadership or authority).Verbal and nonverbal expressions from three particular speeches by Martin Luther King, John F Kennedy and Bill Clinton have been analyzed in depth. The results show that patos as well as strong nonverbal expression are factors in inspiring devotion or creating enthusiasm. Personal magnetism and radiance is also found to develop through figures of speech and rhetorical devices, including metaphors. Results show that facial expressions, pitch and other prosodic information are not always consciously taken in. Nevertheless, it is questioned whether such information can affect the ethos and pistis developed.

High demands are set on all equipment used in emergency service work, where small margins can be the distinguishing factor between life and death during a rescue operation. It is important that tools such as ladders quickly and easily can be dismounted from a vehicle and still satisfy the regulatory requirements for securing loads during transport. The existing solution for getting ladders down from the roof of a fire engine requires a large manual effort from the user in an ergonomically unsound Posture.In this degree project a new ladder holder is developed with focus on the user to solve the ergonomic problems and at the same time create a more compact design that can be adapted to several different types of ladders. After an initial pre-study with user-interviews and measurement of forces and distances a set of requirements was formulated that came to govern the project's direction. Creative methods were used to generate concepts that improved the function and through design solutions, calculations and testing in CAD a base for manufacturing of a new product was created.The result is a completely new type of ladder holder that minimizes the user's manual effort and simplifies the securing of ladders in the holder.

The world we live in becomes more globalized as a result of new communication media. Communication occurs over greater distances which leads to increased travel. In the report AR5, by IPCC, it is showed that the human impact of climate change is clear and that something has to be done. Therefore its very important to change the human impact. A part of it is to change the way we travel within the service which leads to the purpose of the thesis.

Syfte: Syftet med studien var att sammanställa de fysioterapeutiska behandlingsmetoder som studerats under de fem senaste åren och evidens för dess effekter på fysisk funktion, rörlighet samt smärta hos personer med Ankyloserande Spondylit. Metod: För att besvara syftet genomfördes en litteratursökning av fysioterapeutiskt tillämpningsbara behandlingsmetoder vid Ankyloserande Spondylit.

The Church of Sweden has in recent years offered activities such as Christian deep medita-tion, mindfulness and health days. This may be a way for the Church of Sweden to reach the modern man who would not otherwise have come to the church, but there are critics who argue that new spirituality has made its entry in the Church of Sweden. The phenomenon of Christian deep meditation has become increasingly common in the Church of Sweden. In order to satisfy my curiosity about what a Christian deep meditation is, I decided to write an essay about this. My question is as follows: How important is Christian deep meditation as a religious practice in the Church of Sweden? This essay is a qualitative study and I have cho-sen to perform eight pieces of interviews, two of them are recorded.

The aim of this study is to analyze the construction of "Christian masculinity" during the modern era. This is made in opposition to earlier research that has claimed that masculinity could not be constructed religiously, that is, without at the same time being constructed as effeminate or anti-masculine.Using a wide variety of theoretical concepts - such as discourse analysis, class, secularisation, masculinity as constructed from countertypes, and finally masculinity as a homosocial construction - I analyze a free church in Sweden, the Scanian Missionary Society (Skånes Missionssällskap), during the period of ca 1939-1945 (the society was a district of the Swedish Covenant Church, or Svenska Missionsförbundet), in order to argue for the standpoint that masculinity, in fact, could be constructed religiously. The project ?Investment proposal for grinding station for service work of screw feeders? has been performed during the spring semester 2014 for the course Bachelor?s thesis for degree of  Bachelor of science in machine engineering at Karlstad?s University.
