Introduktion Bröstcancer är den vanligaste formen av cancer bland kvinnor, i Sverige diagnostiseras omkring 7000 kvinnor varje år. En bröstcancerdiagnos med efterföljande behandling kan innebära en livskris då en kvinna ifrågasätter den egna identiteten varav självuppfattning och kroppsbild är två punkter som kan beröras och orsaka lidande. Med fördjupad kunskap om patienters erfarenheter av hur självbild och kroppsuppfattning påverkas vid en bröstcancerdiagnos och behandling kan sjuksköterskan individualisera stöd och omvårdnadsåtgärder för att minska lidande hos denna patientgrupp. Arbetet har sin utgångspunkt i teorin om att en förändring i en människas hälsotillstånd leder en transition, då människans upplevelse av sin identitet utmanas. Syfte Syftet med uppsatsen var att beskriva kvinnors upplevelser av en förändrad självbild och kroppsuppfattning vid en bröstcancerdiagnos och behandling.

Att ständigt vara tillgänglig och hantera inkommande e-post under en arbetsdag kan skapaupplevelse av stress. Syftet med studien var att se om skattningen av stressen minskade om enprocedur som liknar traditionell postmottagning tillämpades. Studien genomfördes som ettexperiment på en IT-avdelning. Deltagarna delades upp i en kontrollgrupp som arbetade somvanligt med sin e-post och en försöksgrupp som arbetade enligt instruktion. Studien pågickunder 8 veckor och stressmätning genomfördes vid tre tillfällen, innan start av experimentet,efter 4 veckor och efter ytterligare 4 veckor.

Att ha genomgått en hjärtinfarkt kan väcka många olika känslor så som chock, rädsla, osäkerhet och känsla av att kroppen aldrig kommer att bli densamma. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva personers upplevelser av livet efter en hjärtinfarkt. I litteraturstudien analyserades 17 studier med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys och med en manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier. I resultatet framkom att kroppen kändes förändrad på många sätt och personerna var tvungna att genomföra livsstilsförändringar till följd av hjärtinfarkten.

The aim was to describe the experiences of couples where the male partner had undergone radical prostatectomy due to prostate cancer. Furthermore, the study explored how the operation had affected their sexual life, whether the couples had received enough post surgical support and information concerning these issues, and to describe the kind of support and information these couples desired. Twenty men and ten partners participated. All the men experienced a varying degree of post surgical erectile dysfunction and only five men had received support concerning their sexual life. Eleven men desired professional visiting support activities.

The curriculum of the Swedish school system explains how the transitions between the preschool class and the pre-school should be. The co-operation between the organisations should aim for a long term perspective with the students learning process in mind (Lgr11).The pre-school has almost the same aim in their curriculum, as the curriculum of the Swedish school system.The aim with my study is to examine how the teachers from the different organizations relate to knowledge and how they look at the students social interactions. Also how the transition between the pre-school and the pre-school class is viewed from their point of view. How do the teachers from the different organisations comprehend knowledge?How do the teachers from the different organisations comprehend the social abilities?How do the teachers from the different organisations work and interact in terms of the transition between the pre-school and the pre-school class?The study that has been made is about the transitions between the pre-school and the pre-school class. It´s been investigated by doing interviews with teachers from both the pre-school and the pre-school class.

Mot bakgrund av Lipsets moderniseringsteori undersöker vi strukturella orsaker till varför Kuwait, Ryssland och Turkiet inte genomgått en transition till demokrati, trots en relativt hög grad av modernisering och ekonomisk utveckling efter kalla krigets slut. Vi problematiserar begreppet ekonomisk utveckling och diskuterar olika demokratidefinitioner och demokratiklassificeringar. Utifrån tidigare forskning formulerar vi åtta hypoteser som vi i vår analys prövar på våra analysobjekt. Vår analys resulterar i att Kuwait och Rysslands ekonomiska utveckling inte har bidragit med ökning av demokratisering men däremot har utvecklingen stabiliserat regimerna. Turkiets differentiella ekonomiska utveckling medförde att resultatetet för landet blev olika.

The aim of this paper is to perform a comparative study between France and Sweden analyzing the veil debate that took place in 2003 and 2004. This debate has been one of the central features of the renewed conflict between the West and Islam post 9/11, and has the presumed oppression of the Muslim veil in focus. With help of critical theory and a differentiated citizenship theory, including gender and post-colonial perspectives, I analyse the veil in a Western context in the arguments presented and the actions taken. Through that I try to distinguish the potential problems posed for the Muslim minorities living in the two countries.Three main areas are covered: the different political actions in the two countries, the consequences for this sidestep in liberal citizenship theory and in what way the view on equality splits the two parties. I conclude: that the French secularism and the Swedish equality have played key roles; the ideal of liberal citizenship is being abandoned for a more partial state; and the view of the veil as simply oppressive is part of a colonial heritage that can be challenged..

The aim of this work was to investigate how it is to move in hierarchy from crew toofficer within the seafaring profession and how to be affected by this. How you areperceived by the crew when going from to represent a part of a system to represent adifferent part of the same system and if you are ready to assume the responsibilities of thenew role entails?This is relevant and interesting as we will soon is facing at this transition. The work isbased on a qualitative approach. The choice of this method gave the information neededfor a perfect result.Interviews were conducted through personal meetings with active officers which alsoprovided the opportunity to ask follow-up questions and the respondents were given theopportunity to share their experiences.

This study is based on interviews with six students from Stockholm that have shared their feelings/opinions about how they experience their identity as a student. The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine how the identity of students is constructed but also how the post modern society affects the life that the students are living. With a higher demand on education and responsibility of making the right decisions, the student?s main concern is not only her studies, but also the goal to succeed in her life.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att få en bild av på vilket sätt informations- och kommunikationsteknologier (IKT) används och hur dessa teknologier stödjer studenternas samarbete på distans. Vi har genomfört en fallstudie på Luleå tekniska universitetet på avdelningen för Systemvetenskap. Denna studie utfördes från ett användarperspektiv. Resultatet av undersökningen visar bland annat att de flesta studenter föredrar att arbeta med uppgifterna självständigt. När studenterna samarbetar väljer de ett kooperativt sätt framför ett kollaborativt.

The main focus of this study was to investigate how Swedish military veterans experience that events during an international service affect them after completed mission. This also includes the contact with their relatives. Secondly, this study deals with the course of the crisis, personal defense mechanisms, cumulative stress and post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD).The study was performed using a qualitative method and comprises individual interviews with six Swedish veterans. The responders were all men of different military positions, who participated in one or more international missions during 1993 to 2011.The results of this study show that, according to the veterans, the return back home is the most strenuous part of an international mission. With all the new experiences that an international service brings fresh in their memories, it is hard to re-adjust to the life of a civilian.In connection with the return back home, different degrees of stress reactions were also commonly seen, for example sleep disturbance, restlessness and exhaustion.

Organisationer idag använder ofta flera olika kommunikationskanaler vilket underlättar kommunikationen, eller gör det verkligen det? Syftet med studien är att beskriva och analysera hur personal på olika nivåer i en organisation upplever kommunikationen i den egna organisationen samt att identifiera möjliga förbättringar av denna kommunikation.  Följande frågeställningar ställdes för att kunna besvara studiens syfte; Hur upplever medarbetare, mellanchefer och personalchefen att e-post och intranät som kommunikationskanal inom organisationen fungerar idag? Hur upplever medarbetare, mellanchefer och personalchefen att den muntliga och direkta kommunikationen inom organisationen fungerar idag? Hur upplever medarbetare, mellanchefer och personalchefen att kommunikationskanalerna e-post, intranät samt muntlig och direkt kommunikation kan förbättras inom organisationen? Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats i form av åtta intervjuer med en personalchef, tre mellanchefer och fyra medarbetare i en facklig organisation. Den här studien visar flera likvärdiga resultat som vid tidigare forskning. Personalen upplever att kommunikationen genom kommunikationskanalerna e-post, intranät samt muntlig och direkt kommunikation fungerar ganska bra/bra inom organisationen. I studien framkom att det är den muntliga och direkta kommunikationen som fungerar bäst inom organisationen.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera konstprojektet och bloggen ?Post A Secret? utifrån ett bekännelseperspektiv i allmänhet och ?Post A Secret? som en ny typ av bekännelse i synnerhet. Projektet baseras på att individer anonymt skriver ner en hemlighet på ett egenhändigt gjorda vykort och skickar in till skaparen Frank Warren som publicerar dem på hemsidan. Den tidigare forskningen behandlar två övergripande teman; bekännelse och Internet. Dessa får stort utrymme i uppsatsen på grund av att projektet är en kombination av flera olika medier och infallsvinklar och behöver förstås utifrån den kontext i vilket det konstrueras.
