Background and problem: Corporate Governance is a well-known phenomenon which has been the focus of plenty of research where the board of directors and the CEO have been regarded as important actors. What's affecting decisions regarding these actors has been debated whereas media has been pointed out of having an impact. To decide whether or not media can affect Corporate Governance have shown to be problematic whereas it exists divergent views regarding this. At the same time this relationship is more explored in other contexts than the swedish one, although this one is considered suitable for this. Consequently there is a motive for examining medias impact on Corporate Governance in Sweden. Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to explain if media has an impact on Corporate Governance at an overall level.

Det här arbetet utreder en alternativ metod för mätning av varvtal hos likströmsmotorer. Det är idag vanligt att man använder sig utav givarlös feedback i reglersystem för att nå lägre produktkostnader. Nackdelen med metoden, som utnyttjar den över ankarlindningarna inducerade spänningen (back EMF), är dålig precision jämfört med system med varvtalsgivare. Denna alternativa metod utgår ifrån att motorströmmen varierar periodiskt med varvtalet på grund av asymmetrin i motorn. Genom analog filtrering av motorströmmen samt digital signalbehandling som arbetar utifrån autokorrelation är det möjligt att skatta varvtalet utan givare.

Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka vad som kan förbättra Luleå kommuns anställdas arbetstillfredsställelse och därmed göra Luleå kommun till en bättre arbetsgivare. Genom användandet av en kvantitativ metod och semi-strukturerade enkäter söktes svar på frågeställningarna: Upplever arbetstagarna arbetstillfredsställelse och om så vilka faktorer beror det på? Vad anser arbetstagarna att en attraktiv arbetsgivare ska kunna erbjuda? Arbetets teoretiska bakgrund innefattar olika teorier om vad som leder till arbetstillfredsställelse. Resultaten visade att respondenterna upplevde arbetstillfredsställelse, men att de önskade mer feedback från ledarna. Det framkom även att en av de viktigaste faktorerna i arbetet var trevliga kollegor och att lönen behövdes förbättras.

Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på hur användningen av surfplattor är ute i skolan och i undervisningen.Jag har intervjuat tre lärare på en skola samt bearbetat tidigare forskning till detta arbete. Undersökningen ärkvalitativ och intervjuerna är semistrukturerade. Surfplattan är ett användningsområde som snabbt har utvecklatsi skolans värld. Surfplattan är ett komplement till den traditionella undervisningen, ett hjälpmedel för eleverna,ger direkt feedback och skapar motivation. Resultatet visar att lärarna tycker att surfplattan generellt är positivt attha i undervisningen.

The aim of this study has been to investigate Swedish youth?s conceptions about pornography and sexuality through a gender and power perspective. The questions of issue were the following: 1. Does youth reflect about gender and sexuality concerning pornography? a) Does any norms appear concerning consumption of pornography and sexuality?b) Is any kind of power structure related to gender recognized concerning pornography? c) Does youth think that pornography effects the conception of gender and sexuality? If so, how?2. Are there any differences between how girls and boys reflect about the questions of issue above?The used research method has been qualitative individual semi-structured interviews with eight students totally, four girls and four boys, all in the ages of 16-18. The study has a hermeneutical and abductive approach.The result shows that the respondents recognize both positive and negative influences from pornography.

Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) is a significant vector-borne zoonotic pathogen, causing devastating encephalitis in humans. Its geographical range includes a majority of Asian countries and has also been recognized in some western Pacific areas. The main vectors of JEV are mosquitoes belonging to the genus Culex. Birds and pigs function as hosts and virus amplifiers, whereas humans are accidental hosts. Japanese encephalitis is commonly regarded as a rural disease.

The Division of Language and Communication at Chalmers uses a web-based language tool, named EngOnline, to teach English grammar. The language tool suffers from some shortcomings. These include stability problems and an outdated interface but, above all, there is no documentation. Because of the lack of documentation and EngOnline?s need of maintenance, the Division of Language and Communication has decided to replace the language tool with a new and well documented one.The new language tool was developed using an agile work process; detailed documentation was replaced with more efficient communication.

Undersökningen belyser dels den psykosociala arbetsmiljöns påverkan och dels ledningens betydelse för de anställdas motivation. I teoriavsnittet behandlas tre olika block: Motivation, Psykosocial arbetsmiljö och slutligen Management. Dessa tre block ligger således till grund för undersökningen och själva uppsatsen. För att få en djupare förståelse om ämnet har en kvalitativ metod valts, med intervju som datainsamlingsmetod.

abstractBackground: Dementia affected patients have increasing problems with memory , impaired language ability, which affects communication and behaviour is considerable. These difficulties may provide an outlet for aggression, agitation and anxiety, and are common in dementia, which is exhausting for patients and their relatives and carers. Behavioural changes are common condition in patients with dementia and affects quality of life and cause unnecessary suffering . Pharmacological treatment that is inserted to relieve these symptoms have many side effects. Printed out more knowledge about non- pharmacological nursing interventions that can facilitate care for patients , relatives and carers are great.Aim: To describe non- pharmacological nursing interventions in dementia care .Method: A general literature review of thirteen scientific papers compiled and described in a result.Results: Compilation resulted in two themes,  Music in dementia care and Stimulation in dementia care and four subthemes, Singing in the care, Listening to music, Activities and Consolation and fillip that showed a dominant positive effect on dementia affected patients and carers and there by create opportunities for caring in dementia care .Conclusion: The different nursing interventions may be useful in dementia care when they show a dominant positive effect on various behavioural changes, it seems memory stimulant and promotes communication between patients and carers which favours caring .Keywords: Agitated behaviour, dementia, non- pharmacological, literature review, nursing. .

AbstractThe purpose of the present study was to clarify and describe what image men and women present and communicate in their profiles on an online dating site. Further has been investigated if traditional gender roles and stereotypes are as pronounced on this online platform or if it offers a space to go beyond traditional formations. The theoretical framework of this study consisted of a social psychological idea and understanding of identity as well as a gender theoretical perspective. The methodological points of departure were hermeneutic and the data consisted of ten male and ten female member profiles on match.com. The results of the study was divided into three themes, the emphasis on positive qualities, the attractive body and project manager to one?s own life.

Background: Infectious Diseases Institute points out that the potential of various viraldiseases possibly can block each other. It is said that the virus that causes common cold,Rhinovirus, may have saved many people from the flu. If this assumption proves true, itwould explain why some viral diseases in some countries have been slow to take off and pointto a new way to struggle influenza. Objective: The main purpose of this study, based onreported cases of RSV and influenza type A, type B and H1N1, investigate whether viraldiseases can block each other, i.e. difficult season of flu may delay and / or mitigate thespread of RSV in Sweden.

Violence in close relationships has for a long time been recognized as a major social problem. Many women who have left a violent and destructive relationship have been broken apart by their former partner. They find different strategies to regain their self-esteem and self- confidence. Selection of strategies may be consciously or unconsciously. Some women have chosen martial arts.The purpose of this study is to explore and learn more about women's experience of performing martial arts and their previous violent relationship.

Min uppgift var att under åtta veckors tid genomföra den konceptuella fasen i en pipeline mot ett kortfilmsprojekt. Uppgiften var att från en illustrerad barnbok skapa 3D miljöer med avsikt att i första hand användas konceptuellt för kommande produktion. Betoningen låg på att fånga karaktär och stämning för miljöerna och rättvist spegla ursprungsmaterialet och samtidigt utveckla det till att fungera konstnärligt och praktiskt i ett 3D sammanhang. Materialet jag avsågs utgå ifrån heter ?Viktor bygger en bro? av Jan Lööf, en barnbok publicerad 1972 av BonnierCarlsen.

The purpose of this thesis is to describe property definition and special boundary demarcation and to analyze the differences between the two cadastral procedures. Property boundaries, especially unlawfully determined boundaries created through unofficial parcelling, can create conflicts between landowners and make it diffi-cult to know which land that a property contains of. It is possible to clarify the boundary conditions through a property definition or through a special boundary demarcation re-establish boundary marks.The methods used are: (1) A literature review to collect background information, (2) A case study to summarize court cases and (3) A questionnaire study to collect opinions from cadastral surveyors.The result is summarized in two comparisons. Firstly between restoration of landmark and special boundary demarcation (which replaced restoration of landmark in a legislative change in 2010), which demonstrated that the change in the law is considered positive because special boundary demarcation gives a legal effect on the boundaries. Secondly between property definition and special boundary demarcation which demonstrated that the two procedures are similar to each other.
