The company also has smallerfirms that produce new business models. Due to big changes in the media climate over theworld and a new company management team the company in November 2008 started adepartment for innovation. The main purpose of the department was to create a structuredway for managing ideas and to promote innovation.

Recently, the selections of ethical funds are increased; at the same time investors with social and moral preferences have increased in the capital market. There are currently debates on whether ethical funds perform better or worse than funds without ethical criteria. This also involves a vivid discussion on whether investors know about the consequences of investing in ethical funds. Therefore, this study involves theories about the rationality and decision theory, in addition to what mainly control the investment decisions. The study also discusses portfolio theory since this is one of the underlying theories behind fund management and its development.The purpose of this study is to explain if ethical limitations in the selection of securities affect risk and return in the fund portfolio.

Denna studie undersöker förskollärares tankar om, och arbete med pedagogisk dokumentation i förskolan, med fokus på de didaktiska frågorna vad, hur och varför? Resultatet visar på en övervägande positiv syn hos förskollärare. Även negativa aspekter så som tidsbrist, kompetensbrist samt olika synsätt på vad den pedagogiska dokumentationen är har framkommit i undersökningen..

Recently, media have observed a growing interest in forest land as capital investment. This is because several fund and investment company market the possibility of safe return through investment in woodland, both in Sweden and abroad. When an investment in forests is seen as an acceptable investment option, focus turns to nearby areas, namely agricultural land.

Effective resource allocation and increased control of the internal production are examples of how organizations try to increase its competitive advantage. An ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning) can help an organization to achieve this by providing management with direct access to a wealth of real-time operating information, streamlined dataflow, and making the company's business processes more effective. Like other IT-related projects, ERP investments are associated with large risks. Many projects failure during the implementation in one way or another.

Arbetet grundar sig både i en empirisk och teoretisk studie. Jag har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning, där en observation på tre olika skolor i Västerbotten har lagt en grund för arbetet. Fokus har legat på att studera hur lärare tar tillvara och kopplar undervisningen till elevens tidigare kunskaper, för att få en helhet och förståelse i skolan samt hur moment börjar och avslutar och om det sker någon uppföljning kring momenten. I observationen låg även fokus på hur elevernas färdiga material hanteras och samlas.Syftet är att försöka komma på ett sätt att kunna dra nytta av tidigare kunskaper eleven fått, för att skapa förståelse och ett helhetsperspektiv i skolan. Jag har gjort litteraturstudier hur portfolioteknik fungerar och hur man kan koppla till tidigare kunskaper.

A budget consists of figures showing how much a particular activity has access to during a given year. With a balanced scorecard, these figures and guidelines can be converted in to more easily understandable non-financial instructions for the employees. One of the most significant differences between the budget and the scorecard is that the budget focuses on short-term results while the scorecard focuses on long-term visions and goals. Background: The relationship between advanced age, presence of illness and impaired functioning is well known. A large proportion of the elderly population has an extensive need of care and service and therefore need help from municipal care. Aging is a transition in life and also affects the person's identity and self image, making the person particularly vulnerable and challenging everyday safety. It is therefore of importance to gain knowledge about which factors at individual and organizational level that support a person-centered nursing care for the elderly so that caring responsibilities and staffing of nursing personnel may be scheduled based on need. Aim: This study aimed at describing dependency and care needs of elderly persons living in ordinary housing, sheltered housing and nursing homes.

Projektformen blir allt vanligare i dagens utvecklingsarbete inom företag och dess verksamheter. Med fler projekt uppstår dock nya problem som exempelvis beroenden och resurskonflikter, det handlar inte längre bara om att genomföra ett projekt till utsatt tid och budget, utan även om att genomföra den rätta mix av projekt. På något sätt så vill man få kontroll på det kaos som uppstår i en multiprojektmiljö och det är här projektportföljstyrning, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), kommer in i bilden då detta är ett arbetssätt som underlättar prioriteringar och det löpande arbetet med flera projekt samtidigt.Studien syftar till att få en förståelse för vad projektportföljstyrning innebär och vad den innehåller. Studien syftar även till att visa på de viktigaste delområdena och faktorerna man bör fokusera på för att portföljstyrningen ska bli framgångsrik inom den verksamhet som ämnar använda sig av arbetsättet. Studien är dock avgränsad till vad projektportföljstyrning är, dels genom teori, men även enligt portföljchefer, konsulter och projektledare då det är dessa typer av aktörer som vi genom bekvämlighets och kedjeurval har intervjuat.

Laser for material processing possesses a number of advantages which mean that it has been and will be an important component for a wide range of industries' future development. Cutting materials processing is the dominant use of laser technology and has revolutionized the manufacturing industry. The aim of this thesis is to describe the principles of metal cutting by laser, how laser cutting is applied in practice and to identify how Swedish companies are using laser cutting. For the theoretical and technical description of laser cutting literature studies are the primary source of information. The empirical basis for the mapping of the Swedish industry for laser cutting is grounded on a survey; this includes Swedish companies that use laser cutting in their production.
