When the local authorities establish a plan for land use planning, they have to judge if the influence on the environment could be of such a grade that they have to make a special Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), following national laws and EU-directives. The laws for the process in Sweden is set by the Swedish Parliament, with advisory given by the central government authority, the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, Boverket. For EU, the laws is set by the European Parliament and the Council. The laws and directions for this process have been changed for Sweden in recent years, and the aim of this study was to compare the contents of three different Environmental Impact Assess¬ments to see if there has been any change in appearances and content in later years, as well as to see if different municipalities and authors have effect on the EIAs. According to different studies some of the EIA done are without insufficient focus on main environmental issues in the EIA, or even that some information is missing.

This report is the result of a master thesis carried out by the author, student at the Royal Instituteof Technology(KTH). The task was performed as a product development process at a companycalled Ameibo AB, located in Stockholm. It is the final task of the studies at the Master'sprogramme Design and Product Realization. The report is structured in a chronological order anddescribes the methods used, the implementation of these methods and a presentation of theresults given from these studies.Ameibo is a company located in Stockholm, distributing films on the internet. The aim of thismaster thesis was to investigate the possibilities of entering the market for portable devices.

This study contains how pre-school teachers talk about their mission as tutors and their assignments to educate student teachers in relation to the document that contains information concerning practice-based learning. The students are involved in communities of practice regarding pre-schools for children between one year and five years old. The pre-school teachers will share their daily work and pedagogical responsibility in the activities, meaning that the students are expected to show social engagement in interaction between children and adults. When teachers from the University visit the pre-school, the students are supposed to have a lesson or activity with the pupils in the practice class. And afterwards the students, the pre-school teachers and the teacher from University together have a developing discuss about the outcome objectives that the students are supposed to reach during the practice.

AbstractObstacles or opportunities? ? A study of the experience of collaboration of social welfare secretaries and school staff.The purpose of this study is to illustrate the importance of the work with children and youth through the joint efforts between different authorities. The study deals with the collaboration between the social services and schools in the Ludvika municipality. The objective of the study is to investigate how teaching personnel and headmasters in compulsory schools and the social welfare secretaries in Ludvika, experience the collaboration, and how this works. On the basis of the objective, we have formulated some relevant questions; To what degree are schools aware of the model of collaboration, which is the basis for collaboration within the municipality, and are there any differences in awareness between different categories of employees? Other questions deal with differences in how the social services and schools experience the collaboration, discrepancies between different schools in this regard and if the respondents? experience any obstacles and/or opportunities by the collaboration.Collaboration is, and has been, a pressing issue for a long time in the public debate.

The purpose of this essay has been to study the comprehensibility and the plainness of chapter 1 and 2 in ?Läroplan, examensmål och gymnasiegemensamma ämnen för gymnasieskola 2011? that is one of the governing documents of Swedish upper secondary school. The Swedish government approved a national language policy in 2005 which involved an aim that the official Swedish language would be refined, easy and comprehensible. Plain language has since the eighties had a prominent place in Swedish research and science and is now a thought-out principle at almost every public authority. This essay has performed a linguistic text analysis, a plain language analysis, a plain language test and a critical discourse analysis on the two chapters from ?Läroplan, examensmål och gymnasiegemensamma ämnen för gymnasieskola 2011? that is common for all upper secondary school programs.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and evaluate the suitability of the three instruments SERVQUAL, SERVPERF and Zone of tolerance to measure service quality, from the respondents' perspective. This study has been carried out by a quantitative method in which respondents answered three questionnaires, which was based on the three instruments. The SERVQUAL instrument is a revised version based on criticism by Carman (1990). It is based on the five dimensions; reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibility, with 22 items in which each dimension is associated with a number of items. SERVPERF is the instrument most similar to SERVQUAL and is also composed of the same five dimensions.

Examensarbetet inriktade sig på att utifrån ett antal definierade problemställningar somframkommit under projektarbetet, finna lösningar och förslag på hur Saab skall lyckas medatt utföra sampassnings analys i processutrustningen. De problem som definierades underprojektarbetet var bland annat att finna mätutrustning som är bättre lämpad att utföramätningar i processutrustningen än en Faro arm och att titta på konstruktionsförbättringarsom kan underlätta och snabba upp mätningen av processutrustningen och att med detförslag på mätutrustning och föreslagna konstruktionslösningar analysera om deergonomiska förutsättningarna blivit bättre. To the largest part, the descriptions and activities are general and can be used at anysecondary school at all, but the current status analysis ? with the started environmentalinvestigation ? and the environmental policy are directly coupled to Wilhelm HaglundsGymnasium. Som blivande pedagog och författare av examensarbetet har jag gjort en kvalitativt inriktad forskning för att besvara mitt syfte. Fenomenografi är ett centralt begrepp i examensarbetet. Inledningsvis har jag i bakgrunden skildrat en historisk tillbakablick med viktiga årtal för förskolan. Vidare har jag definierat och skildrat olika uppfattningar som skildras i forskning och litteratur från 2000-talet om utvecklingssamtalet i förskolan.  I denna studie har tio kvalitativa intervjuer gjorts med fem föräldrar och fem förskollärare. Syftet har varit att undersöka vilka uppfattningar som finns hos förskollärare och föräldrar om förskolan.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to do a brand survey of Metro in Karlstad. The study will originate from the terms ?brand identity? and ?brand associations?, where the brand identity is the organization?s desired view of the brand, and the brand associations define the associations held by the consumers.Issues: What is Metro?s brand identity? What are the brand associsations of Metro in Karlstad? How well do the brand identity and the brand associations correspond?Theoretical framework: The study is done from the perspective of media and communication studies, where the theoretical terms are defined from literature regarding brands.Method: The study is carried out using a qualitative document analysis, interviews, and a quantitative survey. The document analysis was made on Metro?s own documents regarding values and target audience.

This document?s content is the final report of the master´s dissertation Magnus Hällström did during springtime of year 2013. The dissertation?s subject is 802.11s wireless mesh networks with streaming video as a focus point.  During the dissertation a wireless mesh network was set up with different attached cameras for streaming video. A sun panel solution was also tested with the goal of creating a package with a self-configuring network node streaming video, powered by nothing but solar energy. .

Detta arbete handlar om organisationskultur och förändring på SJ. SJ är en organisation som har varit med om både stora och små förändringar under dess långa levnadstid. Det som belyses i detta arbete är de anställdas roll och ledarskapets betydelse för att organisationskulturen inte skall utgöra ett hinder i utveckling och förändring. Arbetet handlar även om produktionens påverkan på organisationskulturen. Syftet var att titta på vilka kulturella faktorer som det är viktigt att beakta för att åstadkomma ett lyckat utvecklingsarbete.

School is animportant arena for the promoting of health among youth, primarily from a healthpromoting perspective and a proactive perspective. A holistic approach has gatheredsome ground in the policy documents for the nine year compulsory school in Sweden, butin what way, and what effect does it have on the governing authorities and on schoollevel?The aim of the study is to investigate the coherence between national, municipal andlocal levels regarding the view on health among pupils. In order to do this, the guidelinesfor pupil health in the municipality of Örebro and operational plans for seven F9 schoolsin the municipality of Örebro will be studied and compared to the government bill?Health, learning and sense of security?.

En fallstudie inom sjukvården har genomförts där fokus legat på hur informations- och kommunikationsteknik (IKT) såsomdatorer och telefoner, skapar avbrott för personalen samt hur och om denna fragmentering av arbete kan undvikas. Tidigareforskning om fragmenterat arbete har ofta fokuserat på tid och frekvens för avbrott, denna studie vill bryta med detperspektivet. Det huvudsakliga datainsamlandet har bestått av 17 observationstillfällen med situerade intervjuer vid tvåkirurgiska vårdavdelningar och en mottagning. Materialet har analyserats och nio brukskvaliteter har tagits fram för attbeskriva arbetet. Dessa brukskvaliteter har sedan kopplats till fragmentering och hur denna kan motverkas.
