Skivverkan i volymbyggda trähus

Syftet med denna rapport är att åskådliggöra en mängd olika alternativ för hur skivor kan monteras på träregelväggar. Förbindarmönster och skivmaterial varieras för att slutligen presentera olika alternativ för produktion av volymbyggda flervåningshus i trä. För Plywoodskivor finns två möjligheter till infästning i regelstommen om stommen är högre än 2400 mm, detta p.g.a. dess begränsade dimensioner: - En kortling monteras i regelväggen och två väggskivor kan monteras på höjden. Den dimensionerande bärförmågan för väggenheten uppgår till den minsta bärförmågan av de två ingående skivorna.

Produktion och dimensionering av träboj i vågkraft

This thesis gives suggestions as to how to design a wooden-based wave-power buoy. The thesiswas carried out at Uppsala University in collaboration with the Division of Electricity and AppliedMechanical Engineering. The product was conceived and developed taking into consideration anumber of requirements put forward by the supervisor, Magnus Rahm. The most importantdemands were that the material used should be able to withstand pressure from the sea withoutbeing damaged and that the production costs should be low.Department of Engineering Sciences, Division of Electricity at Uppsala University was visitedseveral times to discuss issues including the various ideas with the supervisor Magnus Rahm, andwith several people in the department.The work started by studying available literature in order to get background information aboutsuitable methods available for the project and to see how similar projects were carried out. Thereason for this was to get a better understanding of this particular problem and how to solve it.After consulting the supervisor, the group decided to construct four different buoys using fourdifferent materials.

I have been inspired by the Do It Yourself movement. DIY builds on the creativity of the individual, one?s capacity for initiative and one?s desire to realise one?s ideas. I have been inspired by sheets of pattern paper used in the manufacture of clothing, and my line of furniture is based on two-dimensional patterns of furniture. The sections of the pieces of furniture are printed on and relate to a standard sheet of Plywood.

En pall, en mall : Att yteffektivt och rationellt producera formpressade trämöbler i det lilla snickeriet.

Mitt examensarbete, En pall, en mall, gjordes på Carl Malmsten Furniture Stiudies, Linköpings universitet, under våren 2011. Jag har läst om befintlig teknik inom formpressning och olika tillämpningar av mallar i samband med tillverkning av möbler. Jag ville utveckla ett system som utnyttjar både pressning och fräsning. Detta förslag ska kunna ligga till grund för att mindre snickerier med målsättningen att producera möbler av böjd Plywood/faner kan göra det utan stora investeringar i maskiner. Målet var att all bearbetningen på varje möbel är möjlig utan något annat utöver en vanlig överhandsfräs..

Utveckling av handtagsinfästning för långtidsemballage

Nefab Plypak AB i Habo bedriver produktion och försäljning av lådor och väskor för långvarigt produktskydd. De har identifierat behovet av att rationalisera montering av beslag på sina produkter. Idag monteras beslagen genom nitning vilket är en väl beprövad metod som använts under lång tid. Behovet av mer rationell montering skapade underlag för detta examensarbete innefattande vidareutveckling av monteringsmetoder.Kravet på möjligheter till automatiserad montering har påverkat utvecklingsprocessen mot att utveckla fästen som inte kräver ytterligare komponenter eller arbetsmoment i monteringen. De nya koncepten måste uppfylla samma krav avseende belastning och robusthet som dagens komponenter.Resultatet av utvecklingsarbetet är ett koncept där befintlig handtagsdel används tillsammans med en nyutvecklad fästdel.

Teoretisk och experimentell utvärdering av Lättelement AB:s takinfästning

Lattelement AB in Ornskoldsvik is one of the leading companies in Sweden in composite elements in walls, floors and roofs in particular. The company supplies elements to buildings located with a wide geographical variation, which means that the products are subjected to very different climate with regard to snow, wind and humidity. This places high demands and requires the elements to withstand large variable loads.The elements are made of lightweight beams with flanges of structural timber and beam webs made of OSB. These are bound together by nogging pieces with the same kind of structure. On top of the beams a nailed and glued Plywood is added to absorb compressive forces and on the underside of the element a sheet of steel is added for tensile absorption.These elements are then attached to the building framework in different ways depending on the particular element height, loads and the structual supporting material of the frame work.

In this thesis a concept for floor hatches for foam pits has been developed. Since there is an existing solution that is powered by hydraulics and is expensive, the goal was to develop a cheaper solution, as simple as possible.A number of different concepts were developed and evaluated. A concept with five sections that are pulled to the side and stacked on each other was chosen as it was thought to have the lowest risk of crush injuries and to be easiest to manage and control. In the opening behind the foam mattress a lifting table is placed to regulate the height of the stacked sections.To be allowed to be installed in the floor of sports halls the sections must be dimensioned according to the construction standards for these types of buildings. Different dimensions of beams in steel and wood materials were evaluated and of those, who lived up to the requirements of the standard, a concept was chosen.

The construction industry is now facing larger changes regarding efficiency in their supply chain for the next decade. Many companies are now trying to optimise its supply chain together with its supplier. JM AB, which is one of the biggest construction companies in Sweden, is looking at different options to improve its own logistics together with their suppliers. Detta är ett examensarbete för institutionen för bärande konstruktioner. Vi har konstruerat en flytande plattform på uppdrag av naturgeografiska institutionen, SU. Projektet i vilket plattformen skall användas var tänkt att genomföras i Tanzania, augusti 2000. En av våra uppgifter var även att följa med till Tanzania och vara ansvariga för plattformen på plats. Speciella förutsättningar såsom otillgänglig terräng och basisk miljö har gjort att plattformen måste vara demonterbar och bestå av lätta material som tål miljön.

In connection with riding and handling of horses, many accidents that can cause severe injuries to both horses and humans are existent. The cause is in most cases that the horse is frightened. The horse's fear also affects its usefulness and it has been shown to have adverse effects on the horse's welfare. To increase safety and improve the welfare of both humans and horses, it is important to find appropriate training methods to reduce the fear of horses in frightening situations. This experimental study compares handled habituation to free habituation.
