During the last decade executive coaching has become an increasingly popular method of management development. Few studies have been conducted within this area, especially in Sweden, and little has been said about the construction of management in executive coaching. The purpose of this master?s thesis is to study executive coaching from a social constructionist perspective, focusing on the construction of management. The two research questions are: How is management constructed in executive coaching? How can we understand the construction of management in executive coaching? Additionally, we identify gender as a social construction of importance and thus include a gender perspective in our analysis.

This essay is about the mobilization that have arisen due to the mining activities being planned in Norra Kärr, just outside of Gränna in the northern part of the county of Jönköping, Sweden. This study is based on the association Aktion Rädda Vättern and members of the associatons? individual thoughts and experiences of their possibility to success. Interviews were carried out with members of the association. The theoretical basis lies within the theory of political opportunity structure and the defintion of the same by Sidney Tarrow.

Background: The prevalence of sphincter rupture during childbirth has increased in Sweden from half percent to three percent from 1973 to 1993. Women who undergo planned home birth have sphincter injuries to a smaller extent than women who undergo planned hospital births. Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe women?s experience of the last stages of delivery during planned home birth. Design: Inductive content analysis of 150 randomly selected delivery reports.

The retail industry is complex and when it comes to the in-store environment conventional marketing tools seldom find their way. The impacts of in-store atmospherics on customers and the psychological impact the store environment has on their decision-making are rather remarkable. An in-store atmospheric that often is used in order to affect customers is music, in fact it is one of the in-store elements that has been investigated more carefully. Nevertheless, in spite several studies on music and its impact as an in-store atmospheric on customers, it is not yet obvious what applies. To bring some clarity on the subject this study is aspiring to explain what applies when it comes to playing music in grocery stores.

The aim of this paper is to examine the actualities of Information Practicefor single women whose parentage has been made possible through assistedreproduction, which places these parents in a norm-breaking position.Study issues related to parents? perceptions of information needs areinvestigated, as is the process of information retrieval and library usageas well as the obstacles and opportunities facing parents in search ofinformation related to their own family constellation. To this end, theoriesby Tom Wilson, Reijo Savolainen and Elfreda A. Chatman have been usedas a model of selection. Empirical data have been gathered from interviewswith eight single women, whose parentage has been made possible throughartificial insemination or IVF with sperm from an open or anonymousdonor.

This essay presents an investigation of the ruins of an assembly of crofts in a rural area in the south of Sweden, outside the town Falk?ping. Using literary sources and intangible sources, and then combine them with the information found by investigation of the physical remains of the crofts, the essay attempts to capture the life and the living conditions of the crofters. The investigation is focusing on the period between the nighteenth century and the first decades of the twentieth century, and looks into the the living conditions according to, for example, the buildings, the orientation in the landscape, demografical changes, the transformation of the area over years and how the crofters were affected by powerty. The investigation shows that the crofters in many ways were in vulnerable and exposed positions, powerty summarized as a lack of freedom ? concerning economical, political and social dimensions.

Detta kan de olika företagen göra genom branding, det vill säga genom att skapa, upprätthålla, skydda samt förstärka varumärket. Ett starkt varumärke skall kunna kommunicera till konsumenterna om vilket kvalitetsnivå företaget erbjuder.

Den globala bilindustrin har under de senaste decennierna genomgått betydande förändringar, vilketskapat ett allt hårdare marknadsklimat. Detta har medfört att strategisk positionering i synnerhet blivitallt viktigare för aktörerna på marknaden. Försäljningen av Volvo Car Corporation och SaabAutomobile till Ford Motor Company samt General Motors under 1990-talet ansågs därför som ennödvändig åtgärd för att säkerställa Saabs och Volvos fortlevnad. Perioden under amerikansk ägandehar emellertid visat sig tuff och knappt ett decennium senare stod bilindustrin för sin kanske störstautmaning någonsin i sviterna av en extrem global lågkonjunktur. General Motor och Ford MotorCompany drabbades hårt, vilket ledde till att det inte längre ansågs ekonomiskt hållbart att behållaförlusttyngda bilmärken som Saab och Volvo.

Dagens Sverige är ett mångkulturellt land där människor med olika bakgrund lever tillsammans mer eller mindre integrerat. Att vara ung idag kan vara problematiskt då man ska förhålla sig till olika attityder som existerar sida vid sida. Detta gäller inte minst synen på sexualitet som i samhället i allmänhet kan anses vara liberal men där unga tjejer i invandrargrupper kan ha helt andra villkor. Vi ville undersöka hur de unga tjejerna upplever synen på sexualitet i samhället och i mångkulturella sammanhang. Denna kunskap kan vara av intresse för hur man kan bedriva socialt arbete med unga tjejer.

Syftet var att beskriva vilka positionsrelaterade skador som finns beskrivna i samband med att en patient ligger på operationsbordet. Vidare att undersöka om vissa patientergrupper löper större risk eller om andra faktorer bidrar till risk. Den metodologiska aspekten som granskades gällde kvaliteten i de inkluderade artiklarnas urval och bortfall. En beskrivande litteraturstudie genomfördes där 13 vetenskapliga artiklar med kvantitativ ansats analyserades. Resultatet visade vårdskador utifrån den position som patienten opererats i.

The purpose of this study is to examine escort-business with a focus on sales of BDSM-services (Bondage and Discipline, Dominance and Submission, Sadism and Masochism). The study is based on qualitative interviews with three informants providing BDSM-services, as well as a survey with 96 men who requested domination of escorts (the survey was carried out by an escort in the 1980s). The analysis of this material resulted in the identification of three themes on which the study centers: The personal experiences of the three escorts, the interaction between the escorts and the clients, and the changes over time when it comes to the performance of BDSM-services. The study has a gender perspective with a focus on feminism and queer-theory. The important conclusions are that there are several differences between prostitution having a focus on BDSM-services and other prostitution.

Music affects us humans. Marketing has long made use of music as a means to enable customers to identify with a brand, and thus increase sales. The Influence of music is obvious, but can you use this on students, and how effective is it to use in a classroom?I will answer the question: how does soft music provide reassurance/create a harmoniums learning environment at the beginning of a lesson?By observing how students react and behave to the playing of soft music. Uppsatsen handlar om Location-Based Services (LBS) vilket ärapplikationer / system som använder en specifik position på jordklotetför att leverera information om dess omgivning till användaren. Dessaapplikation använder sig ofta av ett lokaliseringssystem för attlokalisera användarens aktuella position men användaren kan ävenmanuellt specificera den position som är av intresse. Dessa tjänster ärkomplexa att utveckla då det är många olika parter och system sommåste samarbeta för att det hela ska fungera. Uppsatsens problem äratt genomföra en förundersökning till utvecklandet av en mobilreseguide vilken ska användas av personer som vill erhålla fakta omde platser som besöks vid resor och utflykter i naturen.Undersökningen har genomförts med en kvalitativ metod därintervjuer har använts som primär datainsamlingsteknik. Intervjuer hargjorts på 6 olika respondenter i blandade åldrar och kön med detgemensamma intresset att de alla tycker om att resa.

Studien utfördes som en kvalitativ undersökning på en förskola med inriktning på tidig läs- och skrivutveckling. Syftet var att undersöka hur pedagogerna arbetade med att stimulera ochuppmuntra skriftspråksutvecklingen hos de yngsta barnen, i åldern ett till tre år. Dessutom varmålet att undersöka om det är möjligt för ett barn att lära sig läsa och skriva så tidigt, samtvad det finns för nackdelar, respektive fördelar, med att påbörja skriftspråksutvecklingeninnan skolstart. Det empiriska materialet samlades in genom observationer och intervjuermed två pedagoger på förskolan. Studien visar på hur pedagogerna arbetar för att stimulerabarnens skriftspråklighet och att deras sätt skiljer sig en del från det som aktuell forskningrekommenderar.

In this project the task has been to develop a product that will facilitate an operation for personnel working in a sterilization center. The operation is to steer the front of a loading trolley into the chamber of an autoclave, a so-called docking. The moment is complicated because the margins to deviate from ideal docking position and still succeed, is very small.The principal Getinge's desire was that the product could be retrofitted at the customers on their existing systems. One of the demands was that the product should fit two types of trolleys, one with a adjustable working height and one with a fixed working height. Getinge is supposed to purchase the system from a subcontractor who shall manufacture it and the requirement from Getinge is that the cost of purchase mustn't exceed SEK 500Initially principles, solving the problem was developed.
