This study is made on assignment by the local board of forestry in Skåne, Blekinge and Halland. The change of the forest law 1994 brought a new type of management plan. A more active Planning was introduced in order to equate the environment goal with the production goal. The purpose with this study is to give a better picture of how Planning for nature conservation in production forest is made and to develop support for selection of silviculture methods for stands with combined goals. With combined goals means production forestry with a reinforced consideration to both nature and culture, called PF-classified stands. This was done by: ? Describing silviculture models from the literature that are possible to use for stands with combined goals. ? Describing silviculture models that is used in practice in stands with combined goals. ? Describing how the classification of stands with combined goals is used. Which means, were in the terrain, with which frequency and in which type of forest PF-classification is used. ? Comparing differences and similarities of theoretical and practical used models. The study was done partly as a literature study and partly as an interview study of forest planners.

Detta examensarbete är en utredande uppsats som behandlar och jämför medborgardeltagandet i två stora infrastrukturprojekt, Citytunneln i Malmö och Citybanan i Stockholm. Demokratiseringen av Sverige tillsammans med medborgardeltagandets utveckling har förändrat synen på samhällsplaneringen under 1900-talet. Den strikta rationella planeringen har med tiden utvecklats mot att i allt högre grad engagera både enskilda medborgare och privata aktörer i planeringsarbetet. Politikernas och planerarnas sätt att arbeta med medborgardeltagande har därmed behövt anpassas till de nya förhållningssätten och kraven medborgarna ställer. Den historiska framväxten tillsammans med ett antal planeringsteorier och demokratimodeller är uppsatsens utgångspunkter.

During spring 2008, the Institution for Landscape Architecture, in co-operation with Naturvårdsverket, initiated a survey in the districts of Skåne. In the survey, four out of eight park characters were examined, and it was observed that not only was it difficult interpreting these characters, but it was also presented with difficulties separating ??Lustgården?? and ??Allmänningen??. The purpose of this master thesis in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Psychology is twofold. Firstly, a theoretical framework will be constructed on the thee characters ??Allmänningen??, ??Lustgården?? and ??Centrum, festen??.

Purpose/aim: The purpose of this thesis is to examine if, and in that case how, the municipality of Umeå worked strategically with its communication during 2014 when Umeå was chosen as ?European Capital of Culture?. The research is mainly focused on the outlines of their communication plan, main goals, what  communication strategies the municipality has chosen to and their choice of media channels.Material/method: Two methods are used for this research; qualitative interviews with four employees within the communication team during Umeå2014 and a text analysis of three formal documents which provide the framework of communication policies and media strategies during Umeå2014.Results: The results clearly indicate a well structured, strategic Planning outlined in the formal documents. The four people intreviewed all had a good knowledge of the policies and strategies in the documents, they also described their work in accordance with these..

The study aims to reduce energy consumption in apartment buildings where individual metering and charging of heat is applied. The aim is to develop Planning and design for individual metering and charging in apartment buildings.The study is based on literature review, interviews and case study that include analysis of existing documents. Interviews were carried out with the property developer and the involved consultants who planned the apartment building Yasuragi. To investigate the differences the condominium association has noted in heat consumption between flats, the debit values of the heat were used to discern which houses that were furthest from the average consumption. On these flats there were temperature measurements and thermal photo shoots made for discriminating behavior and possible construction techniques which could be the explanation for the heat spread.Boverket shows that the consumption of heat can be reduced by 10-20% after insertion of individual metering and charging in an apartment block.

This report presents suggestions and recommendations on how to convert an old industrial building, built in 1958, to an office hotel. One of the main criteria was that the floor plan should be flexible. The building is situated at Jonsereds Fabriker and the study was conducted for Hantverkslokaler i Göteborg AB, the estate owner.The survey is initiated with study visits at various office hotels, together with studies of literature regarding office Planning. One conclusion from the study visits is that meeting-places, where the different companies can meet and exchange ideas and services, are important. Another one, and probably the most important parameter when Planning offices is that they should have windows.

Helsingborgs stad är en stationstät kommun. Utmed tre järnvägslinjer finns inte mindre än tio lokaltågstationer. Intentionerna i kommunens översiktsplan är att lokalisera bebyggelse i stationsnära lägen för att skapa en flerkärnig stadsstruktur och att leda in landsbygdens grönstruktur in i de centrala delarna av tätorten. Behov och önskemål om ytterliggare tre stationer finns och Raus, i södra Helsingborg, är ett av de önskade stationslägena. Fram till 1966 hade Raus en station och i samband med anläggandet av Västkustbanan skapades återigen förutsättningar för en station.

The forests in Sweden have, for a long time, been managed intensively. This has led to even-aged stands with few tree species and a lack of dead wood. Therefore, general conservation measures in connection with regeneration felling are important in order to promote biodiversity. Inventories carried out by the Swedish Forest Agency, however, show that about 25 % of the felled area does not reach the level of the Forestry Act, regarding general conservation measures. The aim of my study was to see whether exemptions from the six week notice of reporting regeneration fellings (the Forest Agency demands a report six weeks in advance of fellings), affect the results of the general conservation measures taken.

Detta kandidatarbetet har gjorts med syftet att förbättra Drottningtorgets kvaliteter ur främst ett estetiskt och funktionellt perspektiv och detta genom att studera den rådande problematiken och förutsättningarna på platsen samt med bakgrund av teoretiska utgångspunkter. Arbetet inleds med teorier från respekterade namn inom stadsbyggnad, fortsätter med inventeringar av platsen och avslutas med ett gestaltningsförlag som skapats i syfte att avlägsna den rådande problematiken samt med bakgrund av de teorier och förutsättningar som diskuterats. I förslaget har stor hänsyn tagits till människors rörelse och olika grepp har tagits i planen för att erbjuda passerande sittmöjlighet i attraktiv miljö och tillhandahålla gröna områden för rekreation..

Kulturmiljövården är en viktig del av den fysiska samhällsplaneringen. Även om planeringen i första hand handlar om utveckling och framtidsperspektiv, så är de befintliga strukturerna och deras historia ett aldrig försumbart inslag i den planerade verkligheten. Hur dagens planering förhåller sig till den historiska miljön är till stor del en produkt av de rådande planeringsidealen och samhällsklimatet i övrigt. Kulturmiljöbegreppet har under de senaste decennierna vidgats, dels genom att fler typer av miljöer klassas som kulturhistoriskt intressanta, dels genom att det s.k. brukarperspektivet, d.v.s.

The objective of this project was to develop an application for mobile phones using the Android operating system. The main goal was, with the help of GPS, to pinpoint locations, measure distance traveled and illustrate the progress on a map. Functionalities for just showing the map, fetching addresses and saving to a database was also implemented. The result of the work was a proper application, called MeasureApp, that fulfills the goals set in the Planning stages of the project. MeasureApp can be used to measure distances where accuracy is not a main factor, i.e walks or runs.

Examensarbetet är ett förnyelseprojekt i centrala Karlskrona. Planområdet utgörs av ett stycke utfylld landmassa vilken nyttjats som oljehamn sedan mitten av 1950-talet. Området är aktuellt som förnyelseområde då den pågående verksamheten successivt skall avvecklas fram till år 2010. På samhällsbyggnadsförvaltningen i Karlskrona har en stigande efterfrågan på centrala lägen för bostäder och verksamheter uppmärksammats. I översiktsplanen har denna efterfrågan besvarats med en planberedskap där en rad utvecklingsområden pekats ut. Oljehamnen på Hattholmen är ett av dessa utvecklingsområden. Hattholmens läge i stadsstrukturen innebär både goda utvecklingsmöjligheter och svårhanterliga problem.

This paper is a study about outdoor education in pre- school. The main purpose is to look over if outdoor education in pre- school is a restraint or a resource. The study is based on two questionnaires, one to personnel in pre- school and one to parents who have children in pre- school. The study showed that outdoor education is mostly viewed to be a resource but there can be some problems in how to use it. Time, Planning and knowledge were problems that were often mentioned by teachers.

User participation in the Planning process of renewing the yards of existing residential areas was introduced in Sweden in the 1970s. It arose as a solution to many of the problems which became common in the residential areas built within the Swedish million program. The aim with the million program was to build one million homes within ten years. The same year as the million program was completed, in 1975, government subsidies to improve the residential yards were introduced. One of the conditions to get the subsidies was that the residents had to be involved in the Planning process.

Detta examensarbete behandlar frågan om hur och varför Säve stationssamhälle i norra Göteborg kan byggas ut för att tillmötesgå den expandering som sker i regionen. Arbetet visar även hur en utbyggnad bör ske för att skapa ett hållbart attraktivt samhälle. I arbetet redovisas och analyseras de förutsättningar och restriktioner som finns för att bygga ut Säve stationssamhälle med tätortsbebyggelse för Göteborgs framtida bostadsbehov. Resultatet presenteras i ett övergripande planförslag samt i ett detaljstuderat område. Säve stationssamhälle ligger ca 12 km norr om Göteborgs centrum och är ett gammalt stationssamhälle omgivet av åkermark och med järnvägen dragen rakt igenom byn. Del 1 behandlar frågan om varför Säve stationssamhälle skall byggas ut och generella utbyggnadsidéer kring samhället redovisas.
