Översiktsplanen är ett verktyg för kommunen att visa sin vision med mark- och vattenanvändningen. Eftersom planen ger förutsättning för typer av verksamheter som bedöms påverka miljön betydande ska den miljöbedömas. Miljöbedömning genomförs med syftet att integrera miljöaspekter i planeringsprocessen och genom att beskriva konsekvenser av verksamheter och planering ges också beslutsfattare ett bredare beslutsunderlag, samtidigt som allmänheten ska kunna få en bättre insyn i planeringsprocessen. Det är viktigt att identifiera och bedöma konsekvenser av planering, för att forma planeringen på så sätt det skapas förutsättning för en hållbar utveckling. Denna studie är en fallstudie med inriktning på att beskriva skillnader i kvalitet vid olika typer av miljöbedömning, utförda av kommun respektive konsult och med miljökonsekvensbeskrivningen integrerad i planen respektive separat. Processen miljöbedömning och dokumentet miljökonsekvensbeskrivningen styrs till innehåll och utformning i Miljöbalken och hur god kvalitet en miljöbedömning har är både kopplad till process och dokument. Denna studie visar att kvaliteten skiftar stort och att mönster finns mellan olika typer av miljöbedömning..

Constipation is a common problem for people with dementia and it may result in discomfort, suffering and lower quality of life. Nurses in municipal nursing homes have difficult to observe and prevent these problems because they do not participate in the daily caring work. The aim of this study was to illustrate the nurse assistants? reflections about the care they gave people with dementia and constipation. Main questions vas how they became aware of such problems and what they did when someone had problem with constipation.

 This study was conducted in autumn 2008 on the Company AB, which is currently in a growth phase. The company manufactures hydraulic systems for the heavy vehicle industry and has annual sales of approximately 250 MSEK with 165 employees.The rapid growth and unchanged planning is the starting point for this report. It all began in 2005 when the company received an unusually large order. During this period, the first priority was to satisfy customers and all other focus was disregarded. I många svenska städer går det att upptäcka fenomenet av det peri-urbana landskapet och en planering som strävar efter en expansiv stadsutveckling. Det är ett hybridlandskap, en expanderad stad där skillnaden mellan stad och land inte existerar i form av en exakt gränslinje. Staden innehåller samtidigt miljöer och platser, i flera fall centralt belägna som tenderar att glömmas bort, åsidosättas eller placeras i ett väntans läge vid planering. Dessa tomma ytor och håligheter utan definierad funktion är platser som befinner sig i ett gränsland - mellan det planerade och det oplanerade, vilket påverkar den angränsande bebyggelsen och marken. Detta ger upphov till arbetets tema - rum i marginal, mellanrum som blir en outnyttjad resurs vid planering.

My objective for this project was to create a short but thrilling 2D-animation intended as promotion for an online comic book. The purpose of the project was to learn more about animation and graphics, to further my artistic skills and to learn how to work in Adobe After Effects. I also wanted to learn more about scheduling, project methods and how to handle stress. During the ten weeks of the project I have created the story, the storyboard, the character design, the backgrounds and the animation. The voice over was recorded with the help of a fellow student who also made the music and the sound effects.

A school should be a safe place for all students. The existence of discrimination, harassment and offensive behavior should according to Swedish school law not exist in the school environment. Since the year 2006, when a law on equal treatment was passed, all the schools in Sweden must have a treatment plan that is revised annually to prevent discrimination, harassment and abusive treatment.In this master thesis, I will examine the equal treatment plan between four different elementary schools in Nynäshamn.The purpose of this paper is to examine how the equal treatment plan exposes the bullying and the types of problems and solutions addressed in the elementary schools equal treatment plans. Based on the purpose, I have formulated two questions:How do the elementary schools in Nynäshamn municipality describe bullying in the equal treatment plan?What kinds of problems and solutions are addressed in the equal treatment plan evaluations?This thesis is based on text analysis and content analysis on the schools equal treatment plans.The study is based on the theories from a norm critical perspective.The conclusion of the study is that all four schools treatment plan see abusive behavior as something serious and preventive.

AbstractEvidence based research has shown that organized parent support programmes have a goodeffect in strengthening the role of the parent and preventing problems during growth. Thisin turn has a great significance for Public Health.Komet is one of the evidence based programmes used in Sweden, based on Americanprogrammes and adapted to Swedish conditions.This qualitative study consists of interviews with six children between six and nine yearswith behaviour problems, whose parents have taken part in the Komet programme.With Grounded Theory as research approach the children?s experiences of the programmeand relations within the family have been looked into and analysed.The result of this study suggests that a space for growth of their own is a common need ofthe children, and that this can be achieved by giving them the opportunity to function in afamily environment where they are seen and understood.The Komet programme contributed to this by giving the family tools to strengthen relationswithin the family, create calm and make the children more visible.The self image of the children in this study had improved which gave them more room togrow in a strengthened family situation. This in turn improved conditions for good feelings,and sense of well being, of importance for child development and health..

Castration of dogs holds many reasons and opinions, therefore methods, traditions and rea-sons vary. The approaches have during time changed from mostly surgical castrations to also including hormonal treatments. Castration is used to control the dog's reproductive abilities, for medical reasons and to possibly rectify problems of behavioral nature. How common a particular method of castration is in a country is highly dependent on the country's traditions. In Sweden it is most common with castration for medical reasons, such as possible elimina-tion of diseases, for example, benign colorectal tumors.

Detta arbete behandlar hur en bostads- och verksamhetsutbyggnad i Älö by skulle kunna ske. Det övergripande syftet med arbetet är att genom planering skapa förutsättningar för en hållbar utveckling i tätortsnära landsbygd med avseende på områdets natur- och kulturvärden, försörjning och social samhörighet. Problemformuleringen består av tre frågor; hur nya bostäder i Älö kan planeras för att bevara dagens glesa landsbygdskaraktär, hur bevarande av Älös funktionsblandning i form av lantbrukande, småföretagande och hur boende kan kombineras med nya bostäder och ökad turism utan att förstöra byns kvaliteter. Metoden för arbetet var en kombination av litteraturstudier, intervjuer och ett analyserande planförslag. Litteraturen som studerades var tvärsektoriell och belyste landsbygden utifrån historia, dagens situation och hur framtidens landsbygd kan komma att se ut. Intervjuer som genomfördes var gruppintervjuer med semi-struktur. Dessa tillsammans med litteraturstudien var grunden i utformningen av planförslaget. Den teoretiska bakgrunden inleds med hur historiska skiftesreformer, by- och gårdstyper har påverkat landsbygdens utseende.

AbstractThe aim of this study was to examine to what extent documentation of pain assessment with Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) on patients with pain problems was carried out. The study also explored how the documentation followed the existing guidelines of pain. The material was analyzed with descriptive statistics and a qualitative content analysis. The results shows that 43,24 % of total 37 analyzed patient records contained documentation of pain with VAS on the day of hospitalization. All studied journals contained documentation of pain.

Västerås Stad har i översiktsplan för Västerås tätort formulerat fem planeringsstrategier som ska vara styrande vid all fysisk planering. Stadsdelen började bebyggas i slutet på 1800-talet. Fram till 1950-talet var stadsdelen ett trivsamt och lummigt småhusområde.

Benchmarking is an established method of working which is often used in order to develop the quality of the organization. However, almost 70% of the organizations with benchmarking fail due to the lack of planning and structuring of the benchmarking exercise. Maintenance sections in the paper and pulp industry are one of those who have decided to conduct benchmarking. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to gain knowledge of how the maintenance sections in the paper and pulp industry deliberately structure and plan to use benchmarking as a driving force for quality development in the maintenance sections.The study is a hermeneutic case study. Telephone interviews and document analysis have been used as data acquisition methods.The results show that there is a lack of both planning and structuring in the benchmarking process, and lack of management commitment for quality improvements within industrial maintenance.
