SkolanKlassrummenProjektet har till stor del utgått från klassrummen som är skolans i utbildningssyfte viktigaste enhet. I och med att lärarens roll har förändrats från en förmedlande roll bakom katedern till en handledande roll mitt i klassrummet så har önskemålen på klassrummen också förändrats. Jag har valt att bryta upp det rektangulära klassrummets hierarki och istället tillämpa ett kvadratiskt klassrum på 8x8 meter. I anslutning till varje klassrum som har getts utsikt över den lugnaste platsen i området ? eklunden ? finns både grupprum och uteplats.

Today an increasing number of schools and organizations are investing in so called Learning Management Systems. Researchers disagree on the pedagogical value of these tools. Some mean that Learning Management Systems cement old-fashioned behaviouristic teaching practices; others mean that the systems provide good opportunities in supporting learning in a socio cultural perspective. The aim of this study is to reach better understanding and increased knowledge of how the introduction of a Learning Management System influences the role of the teacher and how the learning is organized. We have conducted two case studies.

Detta är en kvalitativ studie om kompetensförsörjning inom området vård och omsorg om äldre och funktionshindrade i Luleå kommun. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur Luleå kommun förbereder arbetet med kompetensförsörjningen inom området vård och omsorg om äldre och funktionshindrade, dels med avseende på rekryteringsbehovet till följd av pensionsavgångar och en åldrande befolkning, dels ambitionen att höja personalens kompetens och slutligen utifrån en ny arbetsmarknadssituation. Det sker idag en betydande generationsväxling på den svenska arbetsmarknaden då den stora gruppen 40-talister lämnar arbetslivet. Luleå kommun står inför både kvalitativa och kvantitativa utmaningar då en stor grupp 40 och 50-talister ska gå i pension. Härigenom uppstår ett ökat rekryteringsbehov av personal samt ett ökat behov av utbildad personal med lägst undersköterskeutbildning.

The purpose of Älvdalens besparingsskog is to develop the district and most of all the forestry in Älvdalen. It's owned by about 2 300 private forest owners who's landed properties are located in Älvdalen. Every year the besparingsskogen gives out a lot of its profit in form different types of subsidies for agriculture and forestry. The owners can apply for subsidies for several of the costs that occur in forestry. During the period 2000-2003 the owners are offered forest management plans and pcSKOG-gård at no cost for their private forest properties. The purpose of this master's thesis was to find out if the activity in the forestry changed when the forest owners got new forest management plans and the computer program pcSKOG-gård.

This report presents suggestions and recommendations on how to convert an old industrial building, built in 1958, to an office hotel. One of the main criteria was that the floor plan should be flexible. The building is situated at Jonsereds Fabriker and the study was conducted for Hantverkslokaler i Göteborg AB, the estate owner.The survey is initiated with study visits at various office hotels, together with studies of literature regarding office planning. One conclusion from the study visits is that meeting-places, where the different companies can meet and exchange ideas and services, are important. Another one, and probably the most important parameter when planning offices is that they should have windows.

The Act Prohibiting Discrimination and Other Degrading Treatment of Children and School Students (2006:67) entered into force on 1 of April 2006. The purpose of this Act is to promote equal rights for children and school students and to combat discrimination on the five discrimination grounds of sex, ethnic origin, religion or other belief, sexual orientation or disability. This Act also has the purpose of combating other degrading treatment. According to the Act the organiser of the activity shall insure that there is an equal treatment plan that aims to promote the equal rights for children and school students irrespective of the five discrimination grounds. Discrimination is a result of the social norms which tends to exclude people who does not fit in and therefore considerers as being abnormal.

This plan of multiple-use is made on the private owned forestproperty Äspinge 2:2 in the middle of Skåne. The term ?multiple-use? came to Sweden in the beginning of the twentieth century and has slowly grown until about 30 years ago when the laws of nature conservation and sustainability was written into the forest law. The so called ecoturism got more and more popular and people began to seek space and silence in difference to the life in the highly populated areas. This also encouraged foreign tourists to come to Sweden. Mostly danish, german, and dutch people.

The purpose of this study is to examine the medial depiction of Muslims in the case of Pastor Terry Jones' intention to burn the Quran. Our study is based on theoretical framework regarding an alleged clash of civilizations, how that leads to global conflicts and controls the world politics. It?s also based on the western way of characterize Muslims as violent, irrational human beings, and how mass media have a tendency to depict Muslims as ?the others?. The questions we aim to seek answers to are: How were Muslims portrayed in CNN's and Al-Jazeera's reporting regarding Terry Jones plan to burn the Quran? Which discourses exist about Muslims in each news channel and what are the main differences between them? The qualitative method used is a critical discourse analysis on empirical data consistently of twelve articles.

To be able to plan for the expansion of a town, one needs a vision of the future appear-ance of the town. It is the current issues (social situation, supply and demand, political control etc.) which decide what the ideal for town planning is. This is turn is the steering factor of the physical structure of the town. Therefore, the town's structure is decided by these ideals.In this report, I will present planning ideals that have historically been, and which criticisms that have been directed towards them. With reference to these issues, I will present those guidelines and ideals we have today for planning of our towns.

Denna uppsats handlar om hur organisationen/systemet och samarbetet mellan gymnasiesärskolan, arbetsförmedlingen och kommunen ser ut när det gäller att förbereda eleverna inför arbetslivet. Jag har valt att jämföra Stockholm, som arbetar traditionellt gentemot arbetsförmedlingen i Göteborg som arbetar via ett EU-projekt och Östersunds arbetsmodell som arbetar via en kommunal daglig verksamhet. Syftet med studien är att finna några möjliga orsaker till varför 50% av gymnasiesärskoleeleverna går direkt över till daglig verksamhet och pension inom sin hemkommun och inte till den öppna arbetsmarknaden med lönebidrag enligt Föreningen Utvecklingsstörda Barn och ungdomar (FUB) undersökning 1998. Studien är gjord i form av en explorativ undersökning i ett försök att generera frågeställningar och formuleringar av hypoteser för att dessa sedan skall kunna ligga till grund för senare mer ingående undersökningar. Uppsatsen bygger på litteratur, undersökningar, tidigare forskning och olika utredningar och betänkanden som omfattar ämnet arbete för personer med utvecklingsstörning samt en egen undersökning.

This is a qualitative study whit purpose of showing how teachers work whit students in need of special support in school. The purpose has been to study what teachers mean whit special aid, and if the support is individually adapted for each students needs. I have trougt interviews, observations and examinations of diverse documents found paradoxes where teachers and the scool leaders claim that they work whit the integration of all the students at school, while the teality shows a different picture. I have found a clear segregation of students, where they have on repeated occasions had to leave the classroom to receive tuition. The school stuff has a wide iiew of wich students are included in the term "students in need of special tuition".

The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers in primary schools experience the situation of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in their regular classes and also how they plan their teaching for these pupils. The empirical study did intend to answer the following two questions; how do teachers experience the situation of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in their regular classes? How is teaching of newly arrived immigrant pupils in regular classes being formed? A qualitative method was used in the form of interviews with five primary school teachers from two different schools. The overall perspective I have assumed in this study is the sociocultural perspective, but I have also taken up a second language perspective and an intercultural perspective. All the teachers in the study have described their experiences of teaching newly arrived immigrant pupils in terms of difficult, tough and demanding at the beginning, but nowadays somewhat easier.

Att ha en utvecklingsstörning leder ofta till svårigheter att utföra dagliga aktiviteter. Detta resulterar i behov av anpassat stöd för att kunna vara delaktig. Personer somhar en utvecklingsstörning blir allt äldre och går inte i pension vid samma ålder somden övriga befolkningen. Därför har den dagliga verksamheten en stor betydelse förderas vardag. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur äldre personer som har enutvecklingsstörning upplever sin delaktighet i daglig verksamhet.

With starting point in the increasing ill-health in Swedish working life today, in form of for example absence due to sickness and early retirement pension, and the knowledge that the working environment effects peoples health in a big extent, I found it very interesting to inquire into how people within the working life experience health promotion and how this can be developed. A qualitative method was used to receive a deeper understanding for the employees? experiences and data was collected through semi structured interviews with employees on a bank called Ikanobanken, in Älmhult. The result shows, among other things, that respondents find responsibility and the opportunity to influence the learning processes and development important. It also became clear that the respondents find participation, motivation, communication and safety essential factors when related to changes in health behaviours.
