Aim: Compare occurrences of first-time-events reported by mothers and fathers with children at high tech NICU according to kangaroo-mother-care method in two university hospitals. Method: Descriptive, quantitative design. Fourty-five couples of parents, with premature children born and cared for at university hospitals in Uppsala or Örebro, answered questionnaires about first-time-events: interaction-events, measures-of-care-events and sleeping-place-events. Results: All differences regarding the children?s age at first-time-events showed Uppsala-children to be younger than Örebro-children. Interaction-events were reported first in children?s lives, measures-of-care-events and sleeping-place-events later.

Med Tron Som Vapen : Legitimering av våld och död hos en japansk religiös sekt
This study was performed to investigate how the Japanese sect Aum Shinrikyo was legitimating its violence and killing acts. By analyzing the leader and members of the sect, and applying this information on two theoretical models, this paper tries to give an explanation of both single acts of violence and killing, and two terrorattacks.The result shows that Aum Shinrikyo was able to legitimate violence and killing acts through its ideology. In their opinion, cosmos was a place with several levels and everyone wanted to get as high as possible. Those who were killed by the sect would never be able to get to a higher level by living, since they would do too many bad actions. The murderers also got better karma since they helped the person to a better place.The legitimating of violence and killing acts in Aum Shinrikyo can be explained as a duty that is holy, which agrees with the theorists about religious terrorism..
Big Four Branding : Revisionsbolagens användande av evenemang och frontpersoner i sitt employer branding-arbete
Inom kunskapsbaserade yrken är det viktigt att rekrytera kompetent personal. Med hjälp av employer branding ökar möjligheten för företag att stärka sin attraktionskraft mot framtida potentiell arbetskraft. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka samt att jämföra hur Deloitte, KPMG, Öhrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers samt Ernst & Young marknadsför sig som arbetsgivare mot Uppsalas ekonomistudenter. Fokus ligger på hur företagens frontpersoner, samt de evenemang företagen genomför, påverkar företagens attraktionskraft. Utifrån employer branding-teorier och med hjälp av intervjuer med studentkoordinatorerna på de undersökta företagen samt en undersökning av företagens evenemang har slutsatser dragits kring hur dessa faktorer påverkar hur attraktivt ett företag, enligt Universums Företagsbarometer, är hos ekonomistudenter på Uppsala universitet.

Abstract
Considering the social dimension of sustainable development this thesis focuses on the
qualities of life and how the environmental qualities that the inhabitants value can be
incorporated in the physical planning of the municipality. The thesis deals with the problems
that occur when the physical planning, whit its focus on the environmental aspects, also
needs to consider peoples opinions, that springs from the individual experience of the
place.
The municipality of Mark, where this thesis takes its place, is characterised by the
countryside landscape. Mark is situated in the western part of Sweden close to Göteborg,
Borås and Varberg. The commuting is extensive and the demand for dwellings in the
municipality is increasing. Those who strive to live in the municipality have a conception
of what life on the countryside means and of which environmental qualities they want to
assimilate.
Employer Branding: Att attrahera, rekrytera och behålla rätt personal ? En kvalitativ studie inriktad på HR:s arbete inom ingenjörsföretag
Syftet med vår studie är att öka förståelsen för hur personer inom HR arbetar strategiskt med Employer Branding för att attrahera och säkerställa behovet av ingenjörer samt hur arbetet påverkar organisationens utveckling.Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ studie med hermeneutisk ansats och har intervjuat sammanlagt sju respondenter från tre olika ingenjörsföretag. Utifrån intervjuerna kunde vi genom hermeneutisk analysmetod kombinerat med tematisk analysmetod utvinna fyra huvudteman med tillhörande subteman.Resultatet visar på att företagen arbetar proaktivt med att attrahera och skapa intresse för ingenjörsyrket. Det har framkommit att värderingarna utgör en viktig del för att differentiera företag på arbetsmarknaden och att dessa bör integreras i företagens Employer Branding arbete.Vidare visar studien att arbetet med Employer Branding ska gå i linje med företagets affärsstrategi och mål och att det ska genomsyra hela organisationen. .
EMPLOYER BRANDING Framgångsrikt arbete med arbetsgivarvarumärket enligt konsulter och anställdas upplevelser av ett företagets arbetsgivarvarumärke
Allt fler företag använder sig av employer branding för att skapa konkurrenskraft på arbetsmarknaden, vilket beskrivs som hur ett företag arbetar med sitt arbetsgivarvarumärke. Arbetsgivarvarumärket innebär de uppfattningar och associationer som nuvarande och potentiella medarbetare har av en arbetsgivare. Ett begrepp som kan kopplas ihop med employer branding är det psykologiska kontraktet, vilket kan förstås som uppfattningen om ömsesidiga åtaganden mellan individen och företaget. Denna uppsats är indelad i två delar varav Studie 1 handlar om vad som kännetecknar framgångsrikt employer branding, medan Studie 2 berör arbetsgivarvarumärket och psykologiska kontraktet. Datainsamlingsmetoderna som användes var fokusgrupper och semi-strukturerade intervjuer.
Duktig student - Se och välj oss! : En uppsats med avsikt att beskriva tre stora företags arbete med externt employer branding
Uppsatsens syfte är att beskriva tre stora företags arbete med externt employer branding utifrån företagens perspektiv. Uppsatsen inleder med att förklara innebörden av uttrycket, som syftar på att potentiella arbetstagare i dagens samhälle ser efter företags varumärke som arbetsgivare och vad det förmedlar. Vad är en sinnesträdgård? : ansats till framtagande av de utmärkande egenskaperna hos fenomenet
The purpose of this paper is to find the true meaning to the Swedish word
"sinnesträdgård" as a fenonomen. This paper concentrates on the Swedish use of the
word, because the term has different definitions in other countries. Our choice was a
phenomenological method after reading literature on, and in relevance with, the subject
without finding an answer to the question. According to our six informants - a politician,
a project manager, two landscape architects and scientists, and two occupational
therapists, the concept has not yet been defined.
The results show that a "sinnesträdgård" is complex and means several things, but the
main purpose of the concept and place is to stimulate all senses. We have discussed how
to distinguish the concepts "sinnesträdgård", design garden and health garden, from each
other as they all stimulate the senses.

In the 1940s the Swedish town planning was inspired by the English city development with the concepts of neighbourhood and community planning. In order to promote democratic development and solidarity the ideal would be to create community centers with full service. Community centers are part of the building of the suburbs during the postwar period. The buildings in Sweden from 1940 - and -50s were built with the intentions to be good homes for all regardless of income, class and status. Collective solutions to individual problems were characteristic of the Swedish policy during this time.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the places importance for young people with disabilities. The study?s central questions are what type of places they visit and what characterizes them. It is also about answering the questions why the places are visited and what meaning this has for participation and identity. The study´s central concept is room/place, participation and identity.
Att komma ut till ingenting : Informationspraktiker hos frigivna interner
In this two-years masters thesis the information practices of former interns are examined in relation to a possible lack of certain kinds of information in the prison environment. The essay is positioned in the research field of information practices which means its looking at all kinds of information, formal and informal. Since the essay is in the field of information practices it means the focus lies in how information is taught whithin contexts and groups. Information is not looked at solely as an individual process but is seen as a collective experience.The method of the essay is that of the qualitative research interview. Besides taking an interest in information practices i investigate whether access of information in prisons could be improved and whether the library organisations could be a part of those improvements.The result of my research shows that information in the prison coming from the correctional institution is not perceived as well functioning.
Vad drömmer en bibliotekschef om? En undersökning av bibliotekschefers visioner för folkbiblioteket i ett framtidsperspektiv
The main purpose of this Bachelor´s thesis is to investigate the visions chief librarians have for their public libraries. The world around us and our way of living is changing as the society is changing ever more rapidly. This evolvement also influences the public library, its role for society and individuals, its activities and its design. The question is how the public library can face these changes and what function and role it can get and make for itself in the future. Through qualitative interviews with five chief librarians our aim is to answer the main question of this thesis: What are the visions that chief librarians on public libraries have for the public library´s future? This study also contain the role the chief librarians give the public library of today and what they mean is necessary for their visions to be achieved.
