Sammanfattning: Bassängträning är en vanlig träningsmetod som många patienter efterfrågar. Fördelar med att träna i varmt vatten är bland annat vattnets tyngdavlastande effekt samt värmens smärtlindrande och muskelavslappnande effekt. Efterfrågan på bassängträning är ibland större än tillgången, vilket kan innebära att sjukgymnasten behöver prioritera vilka patienter som ska få tillgång till bassäng. Tydliga och jämlika rutiner och riktlinjer vid bassängträning behöver finnas. I samband med arbete för att ta fram riktlinjer vid bassängträning är det också viktigt att ha kunskap om patienternas egna upplevelser och behov för att kunna förbättra rehabiliteringen.

Den här studien gjordes för att undersöka om lärare uppfattar ett samband mellan elevers koncentrationsförmåga och fysisk aktivitet i skolan. Den baseras på en enkätundersökning som gjorts i årskurserna 1-5 på sju olika skolor i närområdet. AimThe purpose of this study has been to examine attitudes towards dance in a broad sense, among Swedish schoolchildren. The study has been done with three different questions in mind: What do pupils think and express about dance? Are there any differences in attitude towards dance between girls and boys? And how do the pupils relate to gender conceptions in connection to dance illustrations?MethodEight pupils 12 ? 14 years of age have been interviewed separately during physical education lessons. During parts of the interviews dance illustrations were used in order to encourage the pupils in their discussions, especially when asked to relate to dance and gender conceptions. The statements have been interpreted from a gender theoretical perspective.ResultsMy interview study shows that male pupils to a larger extent than female pupils inhabit hostile feelings towards dance as part of physical education lessons.

Background: Every day patient´s get isolated in hospitals as a consequense of infection control purposes. Physical isolation can result in lack of human contact and a new unknown environment for the patient. Those two factors can easily cause stress within the patient and create anxiety for the future. Aim: The aim of the study was to describe patient´s experience of being nursed in an isolation room. Method: The method that was used was a literature research, where earlier research findings were read and put together.

Many organizational changes have been accomplished in elder care since the 1980's and many of those have been influenced by market mechanisms. The purpose of this study is to examine how the implementation of these market mechanisms has affected three important aspects in the work situation for personnel. These aspects are, demand, control and support. To attain the purpose of this study, five qualitative interviews with home care personnel have been carried out. The interview material has been analyzed and structured with the help of Karasek and Theorells demand-control-support model.

In the pulp industry, digesters are used to disolve lignin in wood chips. The concentration of lignin is measured and is called the Kappa number. In this thesis, the question of whether an online Kappa sensor, taking samples from the mid-phase of the digester, is useful or not is analyzed. For the samples to be useful, there has to be a relationship between the measured Kappa at the mid- phase and the measured Kappa in the blowpipe at the bottom of the digester. An ARX model of the lower part of the digester has been estimated.

Bakgrund: Globalt är hypertoni ett hot mot folkhälsan och förekommer hos 40 % av världens befolkning och hos 27 % i Sverige. Hypertoni är starkt relaterat till utvecklingen av kardiovaskulära sjukdomar som står för 31 % av alla dödsfall i världen. Sjuksköterskans arbete är bland annat att förebygga hypertoni och dess följdsjukdomar.Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva icke-farmakologiska interventioner som kan tillämpas i blodtryckssänkande syfte hos patienter med primär hypertoni.Metod: Litteraturstudie med en strukturerad sökning i Medline, Cinahl och AMED. Sökord som användes var hypertension, therapy och drug therapy samt i Medline användes även diabetes. Dataanalysen skedde med inspiration av konventionell innehållsanalys.Resultat: Tre studier visade att fysisk aktivitet minskade blodtrycket signifikant.

Background: Patients with cancer of the lung have to endure a quantity of physical, psychological and social difficulties. In their exposed position they are in need of help and support to pull through the situation. With the knowledge of factors effecting lung cancer patients? quality of life, it will be easier to give the help and support they need. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe factors effecting lung cancer patients quality of life from the patient?s perspective.

This study's main objective was to identify adolescents participation in alternative sport activities and which kind of physical activity that was preferred by adolescents who didn't had any earlier experience of sport clubs. The study combined interviews and surveys with the purpose to get both adolescents and sport leaders perspective. A total of five interviews were performed and fifty-four surveys was collected. The results showed that adolescents already physical active were those who participated in alternative sport activities. Who participate in alternative sport activities can depend on habitus, comprehended capital forms and in which social field the sport activities exists..

The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between physical activity and perceived stress, energy and musculoskeletal disorders among office-workers and warehouse-workers and also to see if there were any differences depending on work-place and gender. The method that was used to collect data was three different validated questionnaires that measured stress and energy (the Stress-Energy questionnaire), musculoskeletal disorders (intensity and localization of pain, a Pain Drawing questionnaire with a VAS-scale) and physical activity (IPAQ ? the short version). Eighty-eight workers participated in the study. Forty-seven of them were office-workers and forty-one were warehouse-workers.

AimThe aim with this study was to acquire knowledge of mental training and if you can use it in the elementary school to increase in a short period of time the performance in a coordination test. Furthermore we wanted to investigate teachers understanding of the possibilities to perform this kind of training in the elementary school, and if there is support for this in the school regulation.MethodAs method we have used a combination of a literature pre-study, interview and at the end an experiment. Before the experiment and interviews could take place we studied literature about mental training to get a basic knowledge of the subject. The facts we learned from our pre-study and interviews gave us the base for our experiment. The experiment group included 23 pupils in a third class at school situated in Stockholm.

This bachelor thesis aims to analyse the effects of changes in management control systems following acquisitions, and deduce whether or not these effects are in line with the acquiring firm's objectives of the acquisition. Through a case study of technician consultant firm Energo, acquired in 2010 by ÅF, the study assumes the perspective of the acquired firm. Data has been collected through in-depth interviews at Energo and ÅF and complemented by internal documents to enrich and validate specific facts and statements. Data was then arranged and analysed through Otley and Fierriera's (2009) framework Performance Management Systems to understand how management control systems were constituted before the acquisition, what changes were made following the acquisition, how this process was accomplished and how it was experienced, in order to come to conclusions about the effects of these changes. The study concludes that the changes in Energo's management control system following the integration with ÅF, had significant effects on the outcome of the acquisition, primarily as it led to a high rate of Energo's employees resigning.

Detta examensarbete behandlar kommutering av en BLDC-motor, borstlös likspänningsmotor, med hjälp av FPGA, Field Programmable Gate Array. Det jämför och diskuterar också skillnader mellan de intelligenta aktuatorer som används av branchen idag med dumma aktuatorsystem och syftar till att bygga kunskap kring ämnet. Allt högre krav ställs på kommunikationen i ett fordon vad gäller hastighet och datamängd och av denna anledning är det av stort intresse att utreda om ett teknikbyte av ett driftkritiskt system som en BLDC-aktuator är möjligt och lämpligt.Som en fortsättning på tidigare examensarbeten som behandlat reglering av en borstlös likspänningsmotor med hjälp av en dum aktuator löser detta examensarbete ett problem rörande färdigskriven kommuteringskod som uppdagades. Att använda en FPGA för att ta fram kommuteringssignaler till drivsteget ger en försumbar fördröjning av de pulsbreddsmodulerade signalerna som reglerar motorn och därmed uppnås en fungerande dum aktuator som uppfyller Scanias krav för kommutering av BLDC-motorn.Dumma aktuatorer är på många sätt ett bättre alternativ än dagens intelligenta aktuatorer. Fördelar och nackdelar med tre olika system inom områdena uptime, produktionsvolymer, prisnivå och kostnader, reglerprestanda, IO-krav och eektkrav jämförs och diskuteras och på de ?flesta punkter pekar resultaten på att ett teknikbyte till dumma aktuatorer skulle ge vinster på era plan..
