The problems caused by the current engine casing in aluminum for Volvo Buses Corp. are the mainfoundation for this degree project. Lack of maintenance combined with a construction poorlyadjusted for assembly has resulted in the fact that the engine casings rarely get reassembled whenthe service is completed.The degree project has mainly been following ?Olssons. F, Principkonstruktion, Compendium, Lund?and ?Olssons.

The purpose of this study was to explore nurses' experiences of obstructed airways in the prehospital work.A qualitative interview study with a descriptive and explorative design was used. The sample consisted of nine registered nurses whereof three were women and six were men, with or without further education and varying length of experience in the ambulance service.Prehospital personnel builds up a vast plan of action based on the emergency information provided by SOS. Simple methods for managing obstructed airways were stated often enough. Problems with obstructed airways are considered so unusual that it never becomes a routine. Several factors affect the identification and managing of obstructed airways, both external factors and the different patient categories are considered important.

The Thesis purpose is in the context of system development validate the Scrum Methodology. Projects concerning information technology are difficult to manage and tend to fail in quality, time or costs. Scrum presents a new view of the system development. Better cooperation between customers and developers, continuous follow-up on daily basis and extensive communication in the development team are all characteristics of Scrum. Scrum is described as a new paradigm by its founders but has been criticized by experts of system development too.

A Large part of the education provided at colleges and universities of today requires for thestudent to be more independent in their studies. This demands that the physical space,where the students choose to study, is designed in a way that can encourage and supportlearning. Background: When a person suddenly pass away, the relatives often arrive to the Emergency Department under chaotic circumstances. In this critical situation the nurse has an important role for the care. Many nurses lack of knowledge about how to take care of the bereaved relatives. Aim: The aim of the literature study was to describe aspects of caring for suddenly bereaved relatives. Method: The data for the study were scientific articles found in the databases PubMed and Cinahl and from a manual search.

The purpose of this report is to compile and examine the cost of renovation of moisture-damaged bathrooms, to derive a target price. The target price can then be used by insurance companies to estimate the ultimate cost of future bathroom renovations.       The method is based on the compilation and comparison of the cost of repairs of previous water damage in bathrooms. The calculations compiled based on repair estimates for different insurance losses from one of the leading insurance companies in Sweden.       The result shows the average price per square meter of floor area for different sizes of bathrooms. The average price is the basis for the estimate of future renovation costs of bathrooms. The results further show that the bathroom finishes, area and the distance between the entrepreneur and the location of the renovation have great impact on the final repairing cost.

Syftet med föreliggande studie var att beskriva erfarna sjuksköterskors reflektioner om hur deuppnår ett gott bemötande av patienter. Studien hade en beskrivande design och genomfördes somen semistrukturerad intervjustudie. Sex erfarna sjuksköterskor verksamma inom somatiskavuxenvården intervjuades. Materialet analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet avdenna studie visar att sjuksköterskan vill skapa en öppen atmosfär.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om det finns byteskostnader på den svenska bankmarknaden. Shy (2002) har utvecklat en metod för att estimera byteskostnader på olika marknader. Shys modell kommer att användas för att estimera byteskostnaderna på den svenska bankmarknaden. Resultatet visar att storbankerna, överlag, har högre priser och högre byteskostnader än nischbankerna. Resultatet är rimligt eftersom storbankerna erbjuder ett större produktsortiment och större möjlighet till personlig service, vilket borde innebära högre priser för deras kunder.

Today?s electrical grid companies understand that better knowledge of and information about their grid can help realize a smart grid network. One way to gain better knowledge and information about the low voltage network is to install measuring equipment on the substation transformer´s secondary low voltage side that measures the low voltage network losses for that specific substation. By doing so, grid companies can, due to the calculation of the low voltage network losses, identify and address issues such as illegal power dissipation, unmeasured power outtakes, and unsatisfied technical documentation for the substations low voltage network.During 2012, Mälarenergi Elnät AB had a total electrical network loss (both medium and low voltage network losses included) of three to four percent of their total distributed electrical volume. Converting this energy volume into a monetary figure this accounts for a loss of around 30 million Swedish crowns.

Bakgrund: Kommunikation är en grundläggande förutsättning för patientsäkerheten inom vårdorganisationen. Tidigare forskning inom området handlar till stor del om kommunikation mellan sjuksköterska och patient eller sjuksköterska och läkare. Forskning som studerar kommunikation mellan sjuksköterska och omvårdnadspersonal finns i betydligt mindre omfattning.Syfte: Att ur omvårdnadspersonalens perspektiv kartlägga kommunikationen med sjuksköterskor inom korttidsboende samt beskriva erfarenheter av kommunikation mellan sjuksköterskor och omvårdnadspersonal i omvårdnaden av patienter som vistas på korttidsboende.Metod: EnkätstudieResultat: Resultatet visar att omvårdnadspersonalen har både bra och mindre bra erfarenheter av kommunikation med sjuksköterskor. Enligt omvårdnadspersonalen är kommunikationen betydelsefull för att patienterna ska få en god vård, men även eftersom olika yrkesgrupper arbetar i team. Rutiner för kommunikation finns och omvårdnadspersonalens erfarenhet är att dessa fungerar bra.

The Vaxholm conflict was initiated when the Swedish Trade Union for Construction Workers shut down a construction site in order to prevent a Latvian construction company to build a school after the two parties had failed to agree upon a collective agreement in compliance with Swedish regulations. An emotional public debate followed that resulted in a discussion of the proposal for the Services Directive of the EU, based upon the country-of-origin principle. In this thesis we will analyze whether the country-of-origin principle or the country-of-destination principle is best suited to capture the gains-of-trade that the common market hoards and improve welfare within the EU. We conclude that the country-of-origin principle is the more apt of the two, though it leads to some short-run costs such as structural unemployment. But these will be more than outweighed by the gains in aggregate welfare for the EU in the long run..

The purpose of this study was to describe how women with fibromyalgia experienced their quality of life. The method used was a literature study with a descriptive design. The search for scientific articles was done by the databases Academic Search Elite, CINAHL, Medline via PubMed and Cohrane Library. The articles were quality-tested and the content studied, resulting in four categories as follows. Research involving the physical aspects of the quality of life showed that sleeplessness, tiredness and pain was commonly occurring symptoms in women?s daily life which affected their life-situation.

The study will focus on the administrators experiences of Hudiksvalls coordinating design. Questions of the study were: How is the influence of the model on the rules? How is the influence of the model on expectations and parts? What kind of influence did the model have on the responsibility distribution? What kind of influence has the model on the responsibilities at the transfer of costs? To answer the questions of the study we applied a qualitative method, it was made through a standardization interview guide and open questions, with six of the dealing officers who works with the model.
