Denna uppsats är ett examensarbete baserad på en intervjuundersökning om hur personal i förskolan uppfattar kvaliteten i barnomsorgen. Vi har intervjuat 8 barnskötare och 8 förskollärare, som vid intervjutillfällena arbetade i flera olika kommuner och vid olika arbetsplatser. Med åtta frågor försökte vi att få svar på våra frågeställningar.Huvudsyftet med denna undersökning är således att få klarhet i hur personalen upplever kvalitetsbegreppet i förskolan. Metoden för uppsatsen är kvalitativ och intervjufrågorna har givit möjlighet till fördjupning i frågorna och uppföljning under samtalets gång.Vid sammanställningen av svaren ser vi att vi fått nästan identiska svar från de båda yrkesgrupperna. Detta gör att man kan hävda att skillnaderna i kvalitetsuppfattning inte är så stor mellan yrkesgrupperna.

I och med den ökade konkurrensen och den strukturomvandling som idag råder på marknaden söker detaljhandelsföretag ständigt medel för att effektivisera och förbättra sin verksamhet och dess lönsamhet. Ett sätt som flera forskare anser vara det optimala verktyget för att höja sin lönsamhet på, är att ge kunderna en bättre service och på så sätt även skapa sig lojala och trogna kunder. En forskare som gör anspråk på detta och som även har skapat en modell av detta fenomen är Mark Stevens (2002). Denna modell utgår från att en motiverad och tillfredställd personal ger kunderna en bättre service och den förbättrade servicen ger i sin tur fler nöjda och lojala kunder. Lojala kunder skall enligt service-vinst-kedjan även till sist generera en högre lönsamhet och tillväxt.

This investigation is aimed to analyze and gain insight into how young people of the "second generation immigrants" identify themselves in a society where they are seen as immigrants of the environment in view of the name. Also, how they identify themselves during trips to their home/country of origin are of relevance to see if they are affected in their own identification, depending on how they believe they are seen from the outside.Through a survey, the statistics were produced, which serves as a preliminary to the larger part of the investigation where six individuals were interviewed in order to give deeper answers to the questions sought. The answers that emerged were then analyzed in relation to selected theories.In connection with the investigation it has emerged that the young people in question often identify themselves in such a way that they think that the surroundings look at them. It is in relation to how others see them as they see themselves, which creates a distance between the surroundings and themselves. With increased knowledge on both sides, this distance between the environment and the young people in this investigation maybe could reduce..

This report addresses the growing need to adapt the medical healthcare to the new possibilities that can be accomplished by incorporating a web aspect to the personal treatment plans of patients. It describes what implementations that need to be considered in order to successfully convert to a partially web-based treatment.The report also reflects the potential economical gain that can be made by keeping the communication between the patient and the doctor frequent. This paper aims to study the Armenakis´ theory of readiness, "are they ready?", which consists of five key components affecting the outcome of an organizational change. In this case study, the intention is to investigate if any component is important; alternatively if it is possible to discern a pattern between components, i.e. how they correspond to each other. During the past 30 years have a research group lead by Armenakis has studied organizational change and how resistance to change can be avoided by preparing employees in the introductory phase of change. The main object for Armenakis is the question "what determines whether the employees (change recipients) adopt and support, or reject and resist a change".

This thesis was created in an attempt to examine the concept of cultural heritage. What is cultural heritage to us and why do we treat it in the different ways we do? In my attempt to find an answer to this I have chosen to concentrate my interest on a situation where historical objects have been preserved as well as destroyed, Iraq 2003 until 2007. In my research I have divided the Iraqi cultural heritage in three different groups based on the different treatments they where exposed to during the occupation of Bagdad and the aftermath. Within the ambulance care in Uppsala County a vacuum splint is used to immobilize fractures on extremities. The research available on which method of immobilizing to prefer during pre-hospital treatment is limited. The purpose of this pilot study was to examine the perceptions of the ambulance personal in Uppsala County on the issue of usability of SAM-splint and vacuum splint when immobilizing extremities. The project was also aimed at researching if SAM-splint could be seen as an alternative or a complement to vacuum splint, and to get an apprehension on any evident differences in patients? perceived pain when treated with the two different approaches. A descriptive comparative study was carried out. All patients, regardless of age and sex, with the need of immobilizing supposed fractures, were included.  Patients with suspected femur fracture, collum fracture, or where pre-hospital care was not possible or in question, was excluded.

Argumentative analysis is also used for both the book and the documentary for this essay.     Both Kugle and Sharma use new interpretations and arguments about love to find space for homosexuality in Islam. They use a Muslim language to have relevance with their discussions to Muslim readers and viewers.

This essay investigates the results of participation by teenage girls in feminist groups, the so called girl groups. These groups are descendants of the awareness-raising groups of the 1970?s feminist movement. The essay assumes the relevance of theories of heteronormativity and performativity, as well as theories surrounding two different ways to organize girl groups. It is done either through the Pippi-feminism, named after strong independent book character Pippi Longstocking, or through the collective empowerment feminism.
