Aim: The aim of this study was to examine whether addicted in society maintain their personal dignity. Many studies about this issue have beenfocused on how hard it is to be an addicted, but few have focused on how an addicted handle this situation. Our preconception before this study was that addicts are a stigmatized group not treated with dignity. With this as starting point, our aim has been to let the addicted with their own words describe how they handle their situation and witch strategies they use to uphold their dignity.Method: A qualitative approach is used; we have condicted five semi structured in- depth interviews. The information we have obtained through interviews, we have in the analysis weighed against the theories we believe are relevant to our preconception.We have then categorized the collected information after those themes we found central in the interviews and which we have found can be related to the main questions of this study.Result: The results show many strategies about how people with drug- and alcohol abuse handle their situation.

The recent turbulence in the financial markets has contributed to the banks becoming more restrictive to lend to real estate financing. Deleveraging in Europe's banking sector has also contributed to banks reducing their leverage and increasing capital adequacy to meet the new requirements. Loan-to-value ratios in real estate loans have fallen while banks' interest margins have increased, which has made property investors to look for alternative sources of funding in the capital markets. The Swedish geographer Gerd Enequist (1903-1989) left behind great amounts of private and work material when she passed away. This was donated to the University Library of Uppsala, Carolina Rediviva, in three different accessions. This resulted in three different record. The subject of this report is the progress of assembling these record into one complete record.The registering led to many important decisions such as the role of provenance and the relation of private and public documents. The thesis work focuses on marketing and its point of departure centers on mapping the utilization of social media as a form of marketing. The choice of this thesis subject has been deemed by the authors as one of particular interest due to the current popularity of social media in the Internet connected society and their use as marketing tools. Specifically, this thesis sets out to explore how companies exploit social media tools in marketing and how their use affects retail operations and customer relations in an effective and creative way.The report concentrates on qualitative data collection, the interview answers of four respondents, of which, two are considered experts within the field of social media. The choice of suitable respondents was strategic with the goal of covering as large a portion of the social media field as possible; one social media educator that works with companies and one who assists companies with social media applications. The remaining two respondents work in marketing and communications and employ, as part of their job, social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter.

Vilka orsaker som ligger bakom att företag som befinner sig i industrisektorn väljer olika personalstrategier är något av vad denna studie har som syfte att belysa.Forskning visar på att kompetens skapar konkurrensfördelar som är svåra att kopiera om det genomförs på ett företagsspecifikt sätt. Denna studie visar på att industrierna utvecklat sina personalstrategier på ett företagsspecifikt sätt. The purpose of this master thesis is to examine the opinion about school libraries among principals at the independent schools in the municipality of Lund. In order to fulfil my purpose I used a qualitative method with an introductory questionnaire, which gave background material to the interviews. All seven principals answered the questionnaire and five of them agreed to participate in an interview. Another two interviews were made with two informants, this material was included in the background material. För arbetsmotivationsfaktorer så var skillnaderna: 1) tillsvidareanställda värderar personlig utveckling högre, 2) inhyrda värderar att arbetsinsatsen leder till goda resultat högre, och 3) tillsvidareanställda värderar en trygg anställning högre.

Bakgrund: Fysisk beröring är ett grundläggande behov hos människan och är en central del i omvårdnaden. Fysisk beröring kan lindra eller förhindra lidande och skapa förutsättningar för välbefinnande. I omvårdnaden skapar beröringen ett humant sätt mellan patient och personal att ta kontakt med varandra. Syftet: Hur patientens välbefinnande påverkas av fysisk beröring i omvårdnaden. Metod: Studien utfördes som en litteraturstudie baserad på sju vetenskapliga kvalitativa artiklar.

The municipality in Uppsala has set up goals for the future work concerning climate-and energy issues. As one way to achieve these goals the municipality started aproject called Uppsala climate protocol. During one of the project meetings anabatement map was presented. The map showed what savings in carbon dioxide andmarginal costs for different actions can be made. Statistics show that 40 % of thepopulation in Uppsala lives in a condominium.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this c-level essay shall try to illustrate how a good leader is formed. We have investigated what influences leadership style, personal characteristics or individual competence have when recruiting a new manager. This study has been carried out with comparative applications because we wanted to study the similarities and differences between the Unemployment Office, the Social Insurance Office and the Social Welfare Administration.We have used a qualitative method in interviews both with employers as well as the from the trade union representative?s perspective. Part of our results indicates that the trade union representatives and the employers are not always unanimous and do not request equivalent characteristics and knowledge at recruitment.

The aim of this work is to investigate what after-school teachers from various schools and after-schools feel about the importance of physical activity. But also how they work to stimulate and support children/pupils physical activity development in the after-school center.The work also highlights health from a physical perspective. The study provides a historic look of the conditions for the after-schools. Through qualitative interviews I want to find out how the after-school pedagogue thinks of physical activities importance for the health and development of the children. How they work with their new assignment Lgr11 to be a supplement to school.

Syftet med denna studie var att få djupare förståelse av det ömsesidiga samspelet mellan elever med synnedsättning i kombination med flera andra funktionsnedsättningar och personal på en specialskola. Genom intervjuer ville vi undersöka hur personal på en specialskola beskrev ömsesidiga möten och hur det är kopplat till lärande. Resultatet visade på några viktiga förhållanden som var kännetecknande från intervjuerna. Det vi lyfter fram är känslomässig lyhördhet mellan elev och personal, som innebär att man är inkännande och svarar på initiativ och samspel genom att bekräfta med ord och handling. Följsam turtagning, som medför att samspelet upprepas och förnyas genom en ständig förändring.

Bröstcancer är den vanligaste cancer formen bland kvinnor i västvärlden och statistiken visar en fortsatt ökning. Syfte med studien var att få en ökad förståelse för kvinnor med bröstcancer och deras upplevelse av stöd. Fjorton vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med hjälp av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys med manifest ansats. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier: att få känslomässigt och praktiskt stöd från familj, vänner och grannar, att sakna hjälp och förståelse från familj, vänner, grannar och sjukvård, att bra kontakt med personal inom sjukvården leder till trygghet, att ha någon med erfarenhet att tala med och att skingra tankarna genom aktiviteter. Resultatet visade att det viktigaste stödet var från familjen och att det fanns brister i stödet från personal inom sjukvården.
