Syftet med den här studien var att beskriva och analysera hur personal inom missbrukarvården uppfattar betydelsen av klienters/patienters respektive sitt eget kön/genus i behandling. Vi har gjort en kvalitativ undersökning där vi intervjuat två kvinnliga och en manlig socialsekreterare, en kvinnlig behandlingshemspersonal samt en kvinnlig sjuksköterska. Textanalysen genomfördes med meningskategorisering. Materialet analyserade vi sedan utifrån ett genusperspektiv. Studiens huvudsakliga resultat visar att intervjupersonerna anser att kvinnor är mer utsatta, kvinnliga missbrukare har ofta varit sexuellt utnyttjade och blivit misshandlade samt att kvinnor befinner sig i minoritetsställning på behandlingshem.

The Essay starts with studying the time after the Second World War and its boom, the force behind many of the abandoned locations we see in our city today. Thereafter the idea of place is looked into, its importance for the individual and how the own individual experience affects the experience of place. It is about how we can create own places and through that recapture the city and give it meaning and contents again. The social aspects are being discussed as an important component of creating a feeling of reality. Further studies the abandoned rooms historical values since the past have an ability to raise the experience of a place. How decayed depends highly of economy and how we have gotten so used to changes that we accept capitalism as a driving force to decay is also being discussed. Thereafter the planers roll for the abandoned places in the city is being raised.

Svenskt abstract: Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka och belysa vad enhetschefer på en socialförvaltning efterfrågar för kompetensutveckling avseende sin personal, samt deras förhållningssätt gentemot kompetensutvecklingars innehåll och utförare. Jag vill med denna uppsats belysa enhetschefernas attityder till, och kunskap om, olika typer av kompetensutveckling för sin personal. Detta görs med hjälp av intervjuer med enhetschefer och förklaras utifrån organisationsteori med inriktning på ett instrumentellt perspektiv. Resultat i denna uppsats visar att det enhetscheferna efterfrågar är beroende av hur organisationsstrukturen är utformad, vilken kompetens som finns idag och vilken kompetens som fattas i organisationen.

The objective of this thesis was to investigate how young adults view their own employabilityand to see if there was a connection between their view and their social background. Themethod used in the thesis is qualitative with a hermeneutic approach. The interviews includedwere of semi-structured kind. The main result is that respondents in the thesis expressed similarviews on their perceived employability regarding commitment and energy at work, networkingand contacts and job discrimination but there were some distinctions noted regardingtheir view on education and working life experience. The respondents from working classbackgrounds tended to focus more on education than the respondents from middle class/uppermiddle class backgrounds.

En kvalitativ intervjuunderso?kning gjordes med sex deltagare och analyserades sedan genom en tolkande fenomenologisk analys (IPA). Fyra huvudteman med tillho?rande tva? underteman var valdes ut.

Denna uppsats är en kvalitativ intervjustudie där fyra anhöriga till kroniskt sjuka per-soner har intervjuats om sina erfarenheter av växelvård. Studiens syfte har varit att studera de anhörigas erfarenheter av växelvårdsinsatsen, vilken betydelse växelvård har haft för de anhöriga och hur de upplevt samspelet med omvårdnadspersonalen. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten handlar om kommunikationen mellan anhöriga och personal och hur synen på de anhörigas roll som vårdare av sina kroniskt sjuka närstående påverkar syftet med växelvårdsinsatsen. Resultaten pekar på att anhöriga har både positiva och negativa upplevelser av växelvården. Det odelat positiva är vila och avkoppling och det mest negativa är dåligt fungerande kommunikation mellan personal och anhöriga.

Futurum.kom is a collaborative marketing project with the aim of strengthening the internal organization of Länsbibliotek Sydost, Regionbibliotek Kalmar and the 25 public libraries within the southeast region. The project intends to externally build the brands of the public libraries in Blekinge, Kalmar and Kronobergs län. This thesis is a study and evaluation of the implementation and results of Futurum.kom?s first campaign "Låna dig rik" at a public library. The analysis is based on the following issues:? What goals does the library have with the "Låna dig rik"-campaign.? What is the feedback from the staff's experience of the users in terms of needs and demands?? In which way does the library choose to implement the marketing campaign and what role do the users have in this process?? What is the internal performance of the library's marketing campaign, what was the experience of the staff of the campaign?? What is the external result of the library's marketing campaign?The method is based on a case study of a single library, with a series of interviews and document analysis of written and electronic documents.

This report is about helping Q-Med AB in Uppsala to start its implementation of uncertainty of measurements analyses in their manufacturing department. Prior to this, the company relied solely on Personal experience or did not take this uncertainty into consideration at all during different kind of measurements, which means that some of the processes that the company previously believed were within specified acceptance limits, will actually fail when considering these sources of uncertainties.Q-Med AB needed some sort of instruction to help the company, in a systematic way, to investigate different types of disorders that are affecting all kinds of measurements. This instruction includes a short summary about measurements and uncertainty of measurements in general and a detailed procedure about how these uncertainties are going to be handled in their daily work.The goal was to be able to use this instruction to systematically locate, eliminate (when possible) and analyze all kinds of disorders when measuring. Q-Med is using a lot of different types of instruments when measuring different types of quantities, including temperature, mass, pressure and density. This instruction will hereafter be used for every instrument, regardless of quantity and type of instrument.The instruction is tested through 4 different kinds of measurements, for mass, temperature and humidity.

Title: Elderly deaf - The significance of an own senior housing. A qualitative interview studyon how special senior housing affects the experience of well-being of elderly deaf [translated title]The purpose of the study was to examine how elderly deaf people experience living in aspecial senior housing, which is the country?s first and only housing with sign language fordeaf and deafblind in the region of Stockholm. The focus was to study how this seniorhousing affected the well-being of the residents and their experience of this accommodation.The study was based on a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews. Interviews wereconducted with four residents who have lived in the senior housing for deaf and deafblindpeople since it opened in spring 2013.

The purpose of this study was to examine how young people who have chosen not to drink alcohol experience themselves and their surroundings. The aim was to find out what role temperance plays in their perceived identity. I also wanted to find out how they experienced the views of them, temperance and the temperance movement in their surroundings. Finally, I was interested in the question about alcohol, witch significance they believed it had for them and their surroundings. As theoretical ground, I used Howars S.

Consultancy as a profession has always been a debated topic and has constantly been surrounded with a kind of secrecy. People have a hard time defining what consultants actually do and how they do it. It seems that they are simply waving their magic wands, performing wonders. We have therefore decided that the purpose of this study is to unveil the secrecy around the profession. By conducting interviews and analysing literature we have examined recruitment processes in three different consulting industries and their wanted personal characteristics.

The aim of this thesis is to study whether social welfare secretaries experience occupational pride and what affects this feeling. Previously made research indicate that occupational pride is essential for performance and work-related health. Research has also shown that social welfare secretaries often experience unhealthiness due to working conditions and a lack of professional self-esteem.This thesis is based on four qualitative interviews which have focused especially on critical incidents, according to the critical incident technique. This study has a hermeneutic, interpretative approach. As a theoretical framework, Pierre Bourdieu? s theory on social space and positions aswell as Aaron Antonovsky´s theory on Sence of coherence have been used. The result shows that the interviewed social welfare secretaries do experience occupational pride.

The aim of this study was to gain understanding and knowledge about first line manager?s need for support in their leadership and to get more insight into how they handle and perceives their work.The research method is based on studies of relevant theories and qualitative interviews. Eight respondents were interviewed with a structured 40 question questionnaire about how they experience their work and the support they get. The study shows that there are three important categories of people that are most significant to the managers in their need of support. They are their own manager, colleagues and co-workers.The conclusion is that it is important to create conditions for leaders to have good relationships with their closest manager, colleagues and co ?workers.

The last few years a lot of media air time has been devoted to training, sports, health and weightloss on a more personal level then before. The new media arena is beeing used at its´ maximumto broadcast wievs on how we should eat, look, exercise and live. This thesis is trying to makebetter understanding on what people in general think is important when it comes to physicaltraining and motivation with the aid of digital media and IT systems. The thesis describes aworkshop that was conducted within the frames of Participatory Design and the outcome of thatworkshop. The workshop was conducted with a group of lead users (in this case instructors at avery large fitness center in Umeå, Sweden) and the main question was ?How can IT be used toachive a positive effect on physical exercise if motivation is the focus??.

 Gruppen personer med psykiska funktionshinder har varit och är än idag en diskriminerad grupp i samhället. Det är den grupp av funktionshindrade som har det sämst ställt, både ekonomiskt och hur de blir bemötta av allmänheten. För att stärka den enskilda brukarens ställning i samhället och för att kunna leva ett självständigt så krävs adekvata sociala färdigheter för att kunna interagera med omgivningen. Social färdighetsträning är en av många arbetsmetoder som har som syfte att stärka individens sociala kompetens och som är den här studiens fokus. Den här studien använder sig av en kvalitativ metod för att genom intervjuer med både personal och brukare studera deras upplevelser och erfarenheter av arbetsmetoden social färdighetsträning. Syftet med studien är således att frambringa kunskap om och förståelse av social färdighetsträning. Resultatet visar på positiva upplevelser och erfarenheter av arbetsmetoden från både brukare och personal.
