Wood for commercial use is harvested from forests using forest machines like harvesters which folds, branches and cuts trees and forwarders which transports logs to a landing area for further transport to a processing facility. Future forest machines have to be much gentler to the machine operators and forest soil than today's machines. Hence new machine solutions must be developed and tested. A practical way is to develop a physical scale model which can be used as a test-bed to incorporate different types of solutions for suspensions, cabin damping, tires and tracks, crane and overall architecture. The aim of this project was to develop such a 1:5 scale model of a forest machine, named as ?Skogbil.A scaling strategy was employed to arrive at important scale dimensions and specifications ofSkogbil which would be comparable to the full scale model.

Bakgrund. Våld inom institution är ett problem vilket medför konsekvenser för både personal som för medpatienter. Kvinnor som vårdas för psykiska besvär har varierande diagnoser och är i vissa fall extremt svårvårdade, vilket även kan visa sig i våldsamma handlingar. Självskadande beteende är ett väletablerat begrepp i samhället men dess yttring och påverkan för att begå våld inom institution ter sig ännu inte helt klarlagd. Syfte.

Studiens syfte har varit att undersöka hur fritidspedagoger säger sig arbeta med avkoppling och lugna platser i fritidshemmets inomhusmiljöer samt vad som påverkar detta arbete. Metoden för studien var kvalitativ och sju fritidspedagoger i norra Sverige har intervjuats. Med hjälp av ett sociokulturellt perspektiv har resultaten analyserat gällande hur detta kan påverka barnens lärande. Några av de viktigaste resultaten är, trots buller, trånga lokaler och stora barngrupper, att det arbete som görs med avkoppling och lugna platser visar på möjligheter till bland annat situerat, distribuerat och medierat lärande. Lärande som både handlar om att skapa tillsammans med andra och att lära känna sina individuella behov i en social kontext.

This thesis concerns how local governments use the concept sustainable development, and what the concept means. The concept of Agenda 21 and local Agenda 21 will also be discussed in this essay, because it's an instrument for local governments to specify their work towards sustainable development. I have interviewed civil servants in leading positions in the municipalities? work with environmental questions and sustainable development. In the choice of method for this thesis, I use the qualitative method and for the interviews I chose the ?semi structure way of interviewing?.This thesis shows that local governments? implementation of sustainable development and Agenda 21 differ between the municipalities.

Within the political science literature that deals with the implementation process a central part has long been what is sometimes called the implementation deficit. This means that the effect of a policy decision doesn´t turn out as it was originally intended. The often used explanation is that the policy decisions moves through many levels during its implementation where different actors can change or alter the decision in various degrees. This phenomenon has gradually become more and more attended within the legislative process in the European Union and has been addressed in numerous studies. The purpose of this paper is to examine the implementation of The Habitats Directive, as its embodied in regulatory documents, in the Swedish multi-level system.

There are an increasing number of unaccompanied children coming to Sweden. Sweden is one of the countries in the world that receive many of them. This awoke my interest to investigate the assessment of financial assistance and ?other living expenses? considering unaccompanied children. My approach was a qualitative study including interviewing five social secretaries working in five different districts in Malmö.

Denna uppsats är skriven i samverkan med Luleå kommuns personalkontor. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka attityder studenter vid Luleå tekniska universitet har till Luleå kommun som potentiell arbetsgivare samt att undersöka vilka attityder studenterna har till arbete. Detta har gjorts genom en enkätstudie. Under perioden 2001-2011 behöver Sveriges kommuner till följd av bland annat pensionsavgångar nyrekrytera en stor mängd personal. Bara inom Luleå kommun måste cirka 6600 personer rekryteras under denna period.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine values expressed towards the Swedish literary award Augustpriset in a selection of articles from Swedish newspapers published between the years 2000-2007. The questions posed in the study are: What types of values concerning Augustpriset are expressed in a selection of cultural journalistic articles? How is the relationship between intellectual culture and commercial culture reflected in the articles? How are positive and negative standpoints justified? How can Augustpriset and the journalists be understood as parts of intraconversion on the literary field? The study?s qualitative textual analysis is theoretically based on Pierre Bourdieu?s theory of the literary field. The method used for analysing the articles is idea analysis using dimensions constructed from Bourdieu?s description of two polarities, the intellectual and the commercial, of the literary field.

The purpose of this study is to find out how teachers work with fairytales in preschools raising several questions;How would the teachers describe the literary environment at the preschools? What does theory say about the literary environment?What type of fairytales do the teachers perceive that they work with? How does theory describe these fairytales?What is the underlying purpose for teachers working with fairytales? What purposes are described in theory?My study is based on qualitative interviews conducted with three teachers working in preschool in a small town. The study is based on hermeneutic theory.  I have also used other theory to complete the study.         The teachers all see the possibility of using storytelling as a means to developing the children´ s vocabulary. Some of the teachers also use books and stories as a way of indirectly addressing ongoing personal problems.                                                                                                      The results of my study show that fairytales can be a valuable tool for personal development for children. Working with fairytales could be crucial to how children develop their curiosity and desire to learn and manage ongoing traumas in their lives.

The purpose of this study was to illustrate a parental perspective of children´s participation and quality of live through personal assistance. Important aspects of parents' experiences were highlighted based on how they experienced participation and quality of life for their children. We chose to use a qualitative approach in the form of four individual interviews with parents from different municipalities in central Sweden. The study was conducted with a narrative approach in which we used a holistic perspective. Parents' experiences were highlighted over time to create a complete picture.

Hälsa har beskrivits som ett tillstånd av fullständigt fysiskt, psykiskt och socialt välbefinnande. Studier har visat att det finns positiva samband mellan fysisk aktivitet och välbefinnande. Fler arbetsgivare stödjer idag en sund livsstil och arbetsgivare kan erbjuda sin personal skattefria friskvårdsförmåner, som omfattar enklare slag av motion och annan friskvård, med syfte att främja hälsa inom arbetslivet. Att undersöka hur friskvårdsbidraget nyttjades hos personalen på ett stort företag samt hur personalen upplevde sitt välbefinnande. Populationen utgjordes av alla 154 anställda oavsett anställningsform, på ett kommunalt företag i Luleå.

This essay is about two Swedish folk musicians, Anders Rosén and Leif Stinnerbom, who have been playing two important rolls in the developing process of Swedish folk music, on their separate ways. The main part of this work is focused on the era called ?The Folk Music Vogue?, which was the era when my informants were in the limelight on the Swedish fiddler scene of the 70s.Our music culture is constantly lying under the change of progress and I find it interesting to reflect how these kinds of changes are affecting the role of the musician.In this essay I am reflecting on the different perspectives of the musicianship according to my informants and how they both are referring to their role as musicians. The purpose is further on to see how they have been relating to the change of progress on the field of the Swedish folk music during the 70s and up to this date. Throughout interviews with the informants I am analyzing their personal relationship to their life as folk musicians.

AIM This report studies the Swedish vintage store company Myrorna from a branding perspective.METHOD The study has applied the qualitative method where four personal interviews have taken a fundamental ground. The four respondents are taken from different professionals and from different positions by the reason that the brand would be based on a fair assessment. The study is obtaining data that further was collected from the library of University of Gävle, the articles from Emerladinsight.com and remaining pictures- and text materials is taken from the organization Myrorna. The theoretical material have been adapted on the brand Myrorna and then been used to analyze the empirical part. From the general impression that portrays the brand the researcher leads the discussion.RESULT AND CONCLUSION The result shows that the brand Myrorna in some extent do not fulfill the image the brand in the media mediate, between the illusion and the reality there is an empty space according to the research.

Innan anestesisjuksköterskan intuberar en patient i samband med operation verifieras den preoperativa bedömning, som ofta utförs av anestesiläkare. När endotrackealtuben inte placerats på rätt plats i trackea efter två till tre intubationsförsök med bästa möjliga förutsättningar, beskrivs den som svår. Anestesisjuksköterskan bör vara tydlig, respektfull och konkret i sin kommunikation, då detta främjar relationer och samarbete med kollegor i dessa situationer. Det är även viktigt att vara professionell och ta sitt personliga, etiska ansvar för att bevara sin kompetens inom anestesi. Anestesisjuksköterskan kan uppleva den svåra intubationen på olika sätt och syftet med denna studie var att belysa anestesisjuksköterskans erfarenheter vid svår intubation.
